Creative Edge Parties

To put this review in context – we hated wedding planning. Meagan and Robert at Creative Edge were our life lines throughout the process. I’m not sure we would’ve had a wedding in the end had it not been for all the work they put in our behalf. They helped us with everything – from menu planning, to setting the scene, the decorations, the gifts for guests, everything. They showed up at our venue in person multiple times as our ideas came together to make sure we’d mapped out contingency plans for weather, or even for if another vendor didn’t do their job properly. This review could honestly probably become a small book for how much I have to say to sing their praises, but I’ll try to keep it brief. The execution was great. The food was incredible. My friends and I are still talking about the trio of butters that came out with the bread. I should also note: they provided an entirely gluten free dinner service (I have celiac) and most of our guests were surprised to find out after the fact because the bread was so good. If I had to provide any criticism at all it would be that the guests got rushed back into the building after dinner, and some complained later about not getting a chance to grab cake/coffee, though I suspect that decision was being driven by the venue and not Creative Edge so I don’t want to fault them for it. I also have to give a shout out to Cheska, on their team, who acted as a sort of go-to person for anything we needed during the day. Cheska, we love you. She made sure I had food before the ceremony, kept the flow of the event moving on schedule, kept me from losing my things, and made sure we went home with some leftovers at the end of the night – such a rockstar. She even somehow managed to get my father a cigar in the middle of the night at some point in the middle of the reception – how??! It’s one of his favorite memories of our wedding. Do not have any reservations about booking Creative Edge. They’re the absolute best.

George and the team from Creative Edge were amazing and so fun to work with! Multiple guests told us after the wedding that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The servers and bartenders were extremely accommodating and so nice. George was flexible as our guest count changed and always around to calmly discuss potential scenarios as COVID continued to be a factor in our wedding. George/Creative Edge was the first big vendor we secured, and it helped set the tone for an amazing wedding - we would work with them again a million times over!

For our wedding we wanted southern comfort food and oxtails which doesn’t always come out picture perfect no matter how good it tastes. We tried a few catering companies that either the food tasted good, but they didn’t have the professional staff we needed to pull off a cocktail reception, or the food was ok, but didn’t look so appetizing. The moment we found creative edge parties we knew they were going to deliver and they sure did! George is amazing and he helped every step of the way. Whatever I asked for he assured me it could be done. Like, when we decided not to do a cake, but to have a champagne tower made instead, he was on it. The waitstaff were so professional. Everything was amazing and the oxtails were a huge hit! If you’re looking for a catering company, I wouldn’t look anywhere else because creative edge parties give you all that you need and more!

We had the privilege of having CEP plan and cater our wedding last weekend at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Carla, Chelsea, Lindsey and the team did a spectacular job. Not only was the food AMAZING (not your typical institutional mediocre wedding fare), but the decor was stunning and the service was impeccable. Everyone of our guests commented on how attentive and lovely the entire staff was and how delicious the food tasted. As a producer, it was not easy for me to let go and have someone else plan my event, but the CEP team made it easy and delivered beyond my wildest expectations. Every detail was perfect! We HIGHLY recommend them.
