e buffet. I had communicated that I wanted freshly baked quiche pies, instead we received little quiches about an inch wide and they seemed store bought. I wanted waffles and chicken. The waffles were ok and the chicken were definitely store bought and served at room temperature. My husband wanted a Polish soup and gave her the recipe. It do not taste like Polish soup. It didn't even have taste to it. The scrambled eggs were so burnt that the odor filled the area. Also, I asked that everyone who would be serving would wear black bottoms and white tops, since this was a formal event, which she did not deliver. Also, she said we would have to pay for 2-3 servers. I had expected adults but instead there were about three kids and a man who seemed to be helping. I asked about plates and a table cover for the serving area, which she said she would bring. She brought paper plates for everyone, including us. We were expecting china at least for us, the bride and groom. I was very embarrassed because we spent $3,400 for 100 people, only to be served something that fed about 60 people and the food wasn't great. We were so embarrassed. Based off of our experience, we believe that this vendor is just starting and is not ready to serve at wedding events. We asked for a partial refund since she did not deliver and instead received an email saying she would return $75 for the lack of one server and cost of eggs. On top of that, we received an invoice to pay for one day at a hotel, to be fair, it was included in the contract, depending on the distance they would have to travel. In light of our experience, it only added salt to the wound. We ended up going out to eat shortly after. Also, some of my guests told me they were still hungry and were also expecting more, and also went out to eat. Honestly, I would have given zero out of five stars.
