He did an excellent job on my hair and makeup. Really captured the classic beauty look i wanted. Was willing to stay and extra longer for touch ups getting into my reception dress. Super fun to be around, my entire wedding party found him to be a delight. He went above and beyond to make the day special, even helped me carry my lehenga skirt up a hill to the ceremony space. Im eternally grateful for that. 100/10 would reccomend to any bride!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Perry for both my trial and my wedding day, and I truly cannot recommend him enough. From the moment we met, Perry’s kindness, professionalism, and warm energy made the entire experience so positive and fun. On my wedding day, he absolutely nailed the hair and makeup I had envisioned—I had zero complaints and was beyond thrilled with the way I looked. I truly felt like a fairytale princess thanks to his unmatched talent. Perry also did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, my mom, my aunts, and my mother-in-law, and every single one of them looked stunning. His ability to enhance everyone’s natural beauty while tailoring each look so perfectly is such a gift. Beyond his incredible skills, he brings a calming, joyful presence to the room—exactly what every bride needs on their wedding day. I just absolutely adore Perry. What can I say about Perry briefly, other than that he was extremely professional, personable, prompt, and proficient in his art form of makeup and hair - alliteration somewhat intentional. He vastly surpassed my expectations. One of the things I loved most about Perry’s work is that he enhances natural beauty without making wedding parties appear overly made up. For more details, please read on. Perry was responsive and courteous in all of our interactions, from my initial inquiry, to our call for him to understand more about my wedding and style preferences, to my trial with him, to the day of my wedding. One of the things that sealed my decision to choose Perry as the stylist for me, my mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids was his feedback that “as long as you have hair, I can style it” because I had let him know that I am extremely self-conscious about my fine hair. I so appreciated Perry’s kindness and sense of humor, especially in regard to my sassy and energetic senior rescue dog. Perry has was also very flexible with an unexpected change in our wedding date a few weeks after we had originally booked him for October 2025. Perry arrived right on (even a little ahead of!) schedule on our wedding day in August 2025. He and his assistant, Niaz, worked seemingly effortlessly on hair and makeup for our group amidst the usual day-of wedding chaos ensuing in our hotel suite. I had the stomach-dropping realization when Perry asked for the hair clips I’d purchased for my wedding that I’d left them at home. His calm response was to ask me to have the valet bring his car up since he had extras that actually were a perfect (as in, MUCH) better fit for the style of my dress than my own hair clips.  Finally, Perry came to the church to affix my veil - a family heirloom - into my hair and to do final makeup touch-ups just before the wedding. During my hair and makeup trial six months earlier, Perry had made a recommendation for how to alter the veil slightly to make it fit into my hair and even spoke with a tailor to guide him through what to do when I brought it to a shop to be altered.  Long story short, my wedding party and I would absolutely recommend working with Perry. 

I can not recommend Perry enough! He was very efficient with getting everyone done on wedding morning, followed us to the venue for touch ups and even helped with photographs! He gave every exactly what they wanted and was so amazing to work with!

Perry went above and beyond for our wedding! We chose him for hair and makeup based off of the stellar reviews and he did not disappoint. He was easy to communicate with before the wedding and was very responsive to my many questions. He stayed up until I walked down the aisle, helping to fluff my dress and fix my hair for photos before the ceremony. He also sent me photos that he took throughout the day, which was a wonderful surprise! I seriously cannot recommend him enough.

Perry was an absolute rockstar hairstylist for my wedding day! Perry was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful during my trial appointment. He was super communicative and professional throughout the process. On the day of, he brought such a positive and fun energy to our bridal suite while getting ready. Perry helped do both my mother and I's hair and our styles did not budge on a 90+ degree summer day here in Virginia. I would highly recommend Perry for anyone's future wedding hair and cannot thank him enough for going above and beyond.

Perry is…amazing. He is not only a hair magician, he is cool under pressure, responsive to requests, and a delight to be around. Perry provided hair and makeup services for my wedding earlier this month. He worked with me in the trial to create something that I was fully comfortable with and excited about. He then turned that around with no fuss or need to talk through anything on the day of my wedding – it was one less thing to worry about that morning! My sister, mother, and two step daughters were at ease with Perry and so happy with their looks as well. He was wonderful to work with throughout the process – providing me tips and recommendations, yes regarding my hair/makeup, but also other wedding requirements – he was incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind. Very grateful the interwebs led me to Perry and highly recommend him for any of your special occasion needs!

I contacted Perry to inquire about hiring them for my wedding hair and makeup, a long with my wedding party. He came highly recommended from one of my best friends, a previous client of his, and I remember how nice that experience was when I was her maid of honor. It was my first time wearing false eyelashes and I loved the look ever since. Perry was thankfully available for my time frame and agrees to working on my large wedding party (7 total) with the help of an assistant. His communication was always quick/same day for text/email/and phone calls and made sure to be clear about his needs for the makeup/hair trial and day of service. He's a consummate professional and always made me feel comfortable and heard, working with a variety of ages and genders for my wedding day. I had to change my location for where to get ready a couple days before the wedding and quite distraught over it, but when letting Perry know he quickly came up with a fantastic alternative that worked better than my original location. The quality of service was outstanding, he arrived early for my day of the wedding and after making sure myself and the wedding party were happy with our looks, he even came to the venue to stay with us until I walked down the aisle. He made last minute adjustments to ensure we looked our best, helped my bridesmaid's husband tie his tie properly, and had such a calm and fun presence throughout the day. The NoVA area is notoriously expensive and as my budget was nowhere near the norm, this was a major concern of mine when booking all the various services. The value of Perry was extremely high quality for the price, an excellent value! His artistry, patience, flexibility, and lovely personality makes him the ideal person to book for one's event. Highly recommend!

Perry did hair and make-up for my sister in-law’s New Year’s Eve wedding celebration. Perry did hair and makeup for several women, two mom’s, and the bride. Perry was amazing; he was knowledgeable about both make-up and hair and was so welcoming and kind. All the girls loved their looks!! Perry so clearly loves what he does. I would definitely book Perry for any hair and make-up event needs in the future.

I can write a thousand words to describe how FANTASTIC Perry was. 1. I already had a makeup artist lined up for brides hair/makeup and was looking for one specifically for the bridesmaids. He was very responsive and gave a detailed set of prices right away. However, the bridesmaids chose a different makeup artist. 2. The make up artist that I had (the bride) fell through (about 2 months out from the wedding at this point) and I had to look for a different make up artist. I thought back on my interaction with Perry and he was the first one I reached out to. Again, responded almost immediately. He had our date available! So I booked a hair/makeup trial + day of. 3. The first time meeting Perry in person, I felt welcomed and he was very attentive to the style that I was looking for (with a nice glass of wine 😉). He also suggested other makeup styles that would better compliment my skin tone 4. Day of wedding: Perry gave a detailed list of instructions 2 nights before on how to prep my hair. Perry was right on time and started on my hair right away. He put in the extensions and took his time perfecting my hair style WHILE also dealing with my mother who kept pestering him and the bridesmaid makeup artist to let her use their hair products. Perry was a saint and let her use his hair curlers (it was so embarrassing for me but I couldn’t be anymore grateful). I ended up DOUBLE TIPPING because if anyone deserved it, it was Perry. Aka my favorite vendor 5. He helped lace up the bridesmaids corsets (ABOVE AND BEYOND) 6. Held my dress when I was walking towards the first look for my father (MOH’s job but that’s another story) 7. Took 2-3ish professional pictures and sent them to me later. It was literally just as good as the photographers work. 8. Vibing with the other bridesmaids and I. Without Perry, I would be SOL. He was perfect and more. Highly recommend his services. He is worth every penny.

I cannot express enough how incredible my experience was with Perry on my wedding day! From the moment we met, his charm and warm vibe immediately put me at ease. Simply the very best. From initial communication to trial appointment where we figured out the right look, colors, and style, to the snapshots of walking down the aisle, Perry Warren was right there making everything about our wedding more beautiful. Perry’s quiet command kept us moving along, but still enjoying every moment,--even through some unexpected challenges. He was able to accommodate a last minute addition of a family member’s hair and makeup with flexibility, kindness, and finesse. He knew our venue well, worked seamlessly with the team there, and made me look and feel great from start to finish. As I write this, I am heading into the salon for my first haircut with Perry. If you are lucky enough to find Perry, look no further. He is the hair and makeup master you are looking for!

Perry is the best HMUA I have worked with, and I would work with him again! In fact, I'm hoping I have an event soon I can use him for. I used him for both hair and makeup for my October wedding. I had my trial in August, and it went swimmingly! I explained my vision, and he did the rest! When I told people how well my trial went, and that I didn't want any changes for the day of, many were shocked! Apparently, trials usually go wrong! But that wasn't the case with Perry. The trial was the perfect opportunity to test out my vision and get to know Perry. For the day of, he went above and beyond. Not only was he able to squeeze in one of my friends (who originally wasn't going to get makeup done, just hair), we still had time to spare! Perry and Ally did hair and makeup for 6 and makeup for 2 quickly and efficiently. I was shocked at how fast they worked, compared to other times I've been professionally done up. Additionally, Perry traveled to the venue with us and did my final touches (final blend, lipstick, and finalized hair - I had a tiara), he also helped steam my dress, help me into the dress (vintage dress with 20+ buttons on the back), AND held my train (6 foot cathedral train) while I waited to walk in with my dad!!! He was a lifesaver in that regard!! He is professional, yet kind and compassionate, and his calm attitude really helped me that morning, too. So, if you're thinking of working with Perry, do it! Also, my friends and I have a range of melanin, and an artist that could work with POC was a priority when I was looking! Same with hair. We ranged from 1-3a, with Asian hair, too, and some pretty thick/dense white hair, as well. My 4c friend has a pixie cut and didn't need anything, but Perry was willing and ready to work with her as well if she had chosen! LGBT+ friendly, which I know many prioritize as well! Finally, his prices are fair for the area, and the fact he doesn't have a travel fee was a blessing. However, after working with him, additional costs would be well worth the money!!

Do yourself a favor - just go with Perry for your wedding hair and makeup. I reached out to Perry only just over a month before my wedding, panicked and stressed after a bad experience with another artist. I cancelled my previous contract to go with Perry -- and I am SO GLAD I DID because he is SO worth it! The 5 star reviews are all true and still fail to do him justice -- Perry is 100% a wedding guardian angel. When I reached out, he responded in minutes and we scheduled a trial. When he did my trial and I realized I wanted to make some tweaks to my hair, he asked me if I had time to stick around so I wouldn't have to leave without getting it perfect. On wedding day, he was the first person onsite, the first person to jump in to help where needed (he helped carry in several boxes of decor for me!), and doggedly dedicated to ensuring I looked perfect when I went down the aisle, to the point of tailing our limo to the church, re-curling my hair in the back room, and carrying my veil all the way to the door. Bonus points - he also took some beautiful pictures! He did a STUNNING job on my mom and bridesmaids, who all looked beautiful and could not stop raving about him, and I have never felt more beautiful in my life. Thank you so much Perry!!!

Perry was a pleasure to work with and created stunning looks for me and all my bridesmaids as well as my mom and my mother in law. We had so many people to do in such a short time and Perry made everyone feel and look beautiful and happy. The hair trial experience was also very special and made me feel extremely confident in the look we were going for. I was so thankful for his presence and abilities.

Perry is just hands down wonderful! He’s incredibly gifted in his art. He listened to exactly what I wanted to pull off for my wedding look and gave me advice for hair extensions, lashes, skin preparation, and hair preparation. He made modifications from trial and helped me find inspiration ideas to refine my ideas. But even more importantly on my wedding day, Perry helped me in my dress, showed my best lady how to bustle my dress, stayed with me after first looks for touch ups, took pictures during the whole process and gave me such a sense of confidence and calm. Perry sent me my first text the next morning with the pictures he took. Do not hesitate booking Perry for your wedding. He made my mom and me look beautiful and feel beautiful. Thank you Perry!

Perry was amazing and went above and beyond. He really listened to what I wanted and worked with me to create the look I was going for. He made the day of getting ready fun and productive and even helped out when I was clueless taking pictures. Generally I’m pretty critical but I can’t say enough positive things about the experience! Perry was amazing to work with! He showed up on time and ready to get to work. He was so patient with me and really did such an amazing job, from matching foundation to my skin tone to beautiful eye shadow. He had such a great energy about him and I’m so happy he was able to be a part of my big day!

Everyone should hire Perry for their wedding day! My entire wedding party felt beautiful, and we loved having Perry be part of our morning. His hair and makeup perfectly suited the romantic springy vibe I was going for, and lasted all day even though we were taking photos out in the rain. When a bridesmaid said she wanted her hair down because she doesn't usually wear it up, he compromised and gave her a half up/half down hair style that she was THRILLED with. In her words "he knew what I wanted better than I did." He truly goes above and beyond, and stays until you're ready to go down the aisle. He doesn't just finish his job and leave. He stood by my side holding an umbrella in one hand and battery powered curling iron in the other as we took all of our pre-ceremony photos in the rain. He then gave me one last sprucing up before I walked down the aisle. When I originally couldn't pick a lip color, he asked me to show him my three favorites and he used all three to make his own lip color. Hire Perry if you want to feel like the most important and beautiful person on your wedding day!
