ld her we want to do a 2-week trip throughout Italy, on our own time with a rental car. We would just need accommodations and any suggestions for activities. Now to be fair, I never communicated a budget with her. Regardless, she offered us an 11k package of a touring service (with drivers and assistants) not including airfare! I gave a firm but polite "no thanks" to that. I am either going to use a different agent that can listen and work with our needs, or like my late father would say, "It's better just to do it yourself!"
