Jenna is easily one of the best wedding photographers in Austin, hands down. Here are three reasons why this is just a fact: 1.) Her photos are anything but typical. Jenna was professional, but also added her own unique personality to her work. You can definitely tell she is passionate about her work and has a lot of experience. We were very pleased with the contracting, billing, and scheduling. The photos of our engagement and wedding were perfect. She took the time to get us in memorable poses, but also captured candid moments that often can be missed. The sharing of the photos was quick and simple. We are already considering booking a family session!

We just had our engagement shoot with Jenna about a month ago, and it was a phenomenal experience! Jenna made us feel so at ease with the process (not an easy task, since this was our first time being professionally photographed). I cannot urge you enough to hire Jenna!!! Jenna flew out to Hawaii this Decemeber to shoot my wedding. I contacted her in January to get the ball rolling after finding (and falling in love) with some of the work I found of hers online. Her response time was stellar. I almost never waited more than a few hours for a response back and when I did, an automated email, explaining why she may be away was always sent to let me know what was up. We see up a payment plan for the next few months which, was a blessing and not many photographers are willing to do this. Easy payment portal, accepting cards, cash, check, paypal... you name it. She has a very detailed contract that lays out the exact expectations of both ends and makes it clear what you will be expecting and receiving after the fact. Along the whole process she will also send you cute questionnaires to fill out to get more of a feel of how you want your day to go. Along with this, she also just emails you out of the blue to check in on the process and how you are doing. It was super comforting and sweet to me as a stressing bride. Closing in on the big day, you will have a face to face to go over the time line of the wedding day or whatever day. Which, considering I opted out of a planner, helped alot. So day of she was a saint. Kept more than cool, got us some breath taking shots and made the whole day super easy. I was more than comfortable just letting her command the room and she had no issues being hella proffessional, fun and getting the job done..and I have a circus for a family. She wrangled the whole 25 person immediate family picture part flawlessly and even got a couple shots of my nephew in his suit (that he hated) that are just adorable. Lord knows how... she kept me super calm and happy the whole time. Mindless chatter, distractions, even helped me with my makeup when we realized what time it was. The whole day was captured beautifully. From the getting ready, first look, the ceremony and the night time reception were all just....amazing. she even did a super sketchy shot with her camera hovering centimeters above the water to get the perfect shot. We also did a shoot at the sandbar on island. Which turned out beautifully as well. Long story short, if you're looking for a professional, fun, spirited, beautifully talented, dedicated photographer...you've found her. Just say yes to the photographer!!!!

I'm not sure what to say to fully capture how awesome Jenna is! From the minute we met her at a wedding expo and she said she told us her dislike for all things seemed "pinterest worthy" I knew we had found our photographer! Over the course of the last 10 months, my husband and I have gotten to become friends with Jenna which I feel greatly helped our comfort level with both the engagement & wedding photos. It honestly felt like just hanging out and you can tell in our photos that we look relaxed. Day of the wedding and Jenna was amazing at helping to soothe my last minute nerves/dealing with family! I first met Jenna at a Bridal Expo. Right before I met her I had been talking to a few photographers for a 5-10 minutes each but they didn’t feel like the right choice even though they all seemed talented. Within minutes of meeting Jenna I knew she was “the one” to capture our moments. I was looking for someone who had done Indian weddings before but wasn’t a typical Indian photographer. She is energetic, passionate, and fun. When you’re already stressed out, it’s important to have someone like that both on your wedding day and leading up to it. Both my husband and I are creative professionals and I usually have a strict vision for visuals. I had no problem giving Jenna full creative control for our photography because I trust her and LOVE her style. Even since hiring her last summer she has grown so much as a photographer and we really saw all the benefits of her constant drive to learn and improve in her beautiful work. We took engagement pictures with Jenna before our wedding and I told her we wanted to take pictures with our dog and us eating queso at our favorite restaurant. Some photographers might think we’re weird, but Jenna knew we were weird and was all for it! We ended up using our engagement pictures in our guest book and I love them. She asked how we wanted to feel when we saw the pictures and I said I wanted to feel the joy in that day. She made it happen and captured more emotion than I could have imagined. Jenna, Carly and i searched for months for the perfect photographer who would help us feel confident yet comfortable to be ourselves and truly capture us in our element rather than the traditional poses you see in everyone's photos. I recently saw another couple’s wedding photos and felt like they were missing something. I looked at the photos Jenna captured at our wedding in February as a point of comparison and realized that Jenna is stellar at capturing the mood of the event and people’s feelings.  It’s been 10 months since our wedding, but when I look at the photos, the happy, fun feeling of our wedding comes back instantly. Jenna got all the standard shots that everyone wants for their wedding, but really outdid herself with the candid photos. Jenna’s photos really bring our wedding to life. She doesn’t stick to basic photos; she experiments and some of those experiments are my favorite photos. The photos during the reception really wowed me. She conveys so much movement and excitement in those photos.  Jenna showed up like an hour early, wasn’t intrusive when everyone was busy, made us feel comfortable during our first-look session, helped suggest poses to do, made us laugh so it wasn’t so awkward, did a good job with herding our families to take group photos, took time to take funny candids between ‘official’ photos, pulled us away for photo ops when something special caught her eye and captured a ton of exceptional photos. We highly recommend Jenna. Jenna was an amazing badass from start to finish! Last year when I was still living in NYC, I was having the hardest time finding the perfect photographer for my Texas Hill Country wedding. I have a bad memory at times so beautifully done photos were a MUST! At dinner one night a friend of mine told me he would ask a friend in Austin to see if she knew of anyone. Sure enough the next day I got an email with the contact of lady who would make all my wedding photo dreams come true, Jenna! From our first phone call together, I knew she was the one. She answered all my questions and left no doubts in my head about what our day would be like. I stalked all her photos online and got my now husband on board. Jenna is super professional and leading up to the wedding kept us informed on things we needed to be prepared for our wedding day. She has an amazing online portal with great questionnaires so she can get to know you and also for you to add all the details of your wedding which saves a lot of hassle of going back and forth on email. On the day, Jenna was lovely as I expected and was such a trooper at our freezing outdoor wedding. She captured all of our special moments perfectly! I can’t stop looking at them to re-live the day over and over! She was also amazing at wrangling our crazy families and putting up with some at-times intense personalities for family portraits. Chris and I are beyond happy with the shots Jenna got of our day. My sister told me the other day that the photos are magical!! Jenna, thank you for being awesome and for the amazing gift you gave us!

Jenna Avery captured some truly beautiful photographs of our elopement ceremony at Mayfield Park on 10/20/17. I was worried about the pictures as that is the only things we would have to bring back to family back home as we are from out of state, but she did a great job of capturing the special moments as well as some family-expected posed pictures. Jenna has a great personality and you can tell she enjoys what she does and takes pride in her work. She was super efficient so there was nothing painful about our post-ceremony picture session, it was actually very enjoyable! And I hate having my picture taken. My husband and I are pretty awkward in front of the camera and Jenna did a stellar job of getting some truly beautiful posed pictures. She also got a couple of shots that highlighted how goofy we are and made our awkwardness look endearing. I'm truly thankful for being able to work with Jenna Avery!

Jenna is a seriously incredible photographer. She has a unique flair about her (expect her to have some crazy color to her hair on your wedding day!) that I think brings a special aspect to her pictures. She has an amazing way of finding the perfect spot to configure her shot. I have not been unhappy about any picture that she has given me. We had an unfortunate incident right after our ceremony with one of the grandparents (she's ok!) that caused us to be behind schedule for pictures (AKA we were losing sunlight), but Jenna did her thing and was able to find every pocket of light around our venue (and a construction site) and seriously you would not even know. I cannot say enough good things about Jenna.

I’ve been trying to write this review for two hours. I just can’t seem to find words that express how truly grateful we are that Jenna came into our lives. When we first met this pink-haired tornado of a woman, she said “I only work with weirdos”. It was love at first sass. Over the last year, we’ve exchanged emails about our cats, had drinks with her puppy at a bar, won a lava lamp at her Christmas party, played Ski-ball together, had dinner with her and her boyfriend, and froze our asses off at a Renaissance Faire. What I’m trying to say is that while hiring a wedding photographer is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, hiring Jenna is really more like gaining a once-in-a-lifetime friend. Her creativity is unmatched. Her ability to handle a giant group of our drama-loving dysfunctional families was beyond impressive. Her support and instruction on our wedding day was so reassuring. Jenna took pictures of two awkward nerds that made us look like fucking models. I can’t wait to show my grandkids my wedding pictures and be like “look at what a fucking babe I was.” Jenna’s a badass warrior woman with a shining soul. She’s a firework. A unicorn. If you don’t hire her, you’ll probably regret it.

My now hubby and I were so very lucky to have found Jenna when we did. We came across her website and fell in love with her moments-matter style. We’re not photographers by any means so we don’t know the exact elements that stood out, only that we would love to have photos like that to remember our wedding with. We opt’d for the engagement session & full day for the wedding. We trusted Jenna completely and let her work her magic—which let us focus on the many things that a wedding has going on. Photography is the one thing you absolutely cannot go cheap on for your big day—but still Jenna’s rates were amazingly reasonable for the quality of work & care she took of us. Jenna was super available and prepared to help guide us through all of the check list items we would need. When the big day came she was more like a friend than just a vendor. She laughed, cried, and celebrated with us. And isn’t that what you’d want? Someone who is truly invested in and happy for your union. If you’re looking for boring then you’ve got the wrong girl. She’s lively, energetic, & hard working! We spent so much time and effort creating the big day and she spent just as much capturing it. We’re forever grateful! I highly recommend full day and a second shooter as it gave us so many more photos than we could have ever dreamed of. These photos are so very precious to us and so is the gal who took ‘em.

We are very lucky that we found Jenna. She had worked with our quirks and I think we have a few and her quirks (personality) are amazing and easy to feel comfortable around. Never got the feeling it's just another job. Our guests told us that they knew Jenna was around but never obstructed their view or created distraction. In fact our guest never knew where she was but she was everywhere clearly from the photos taken. Her energy enthusiasm made us feel at ease. The day of our wedding Jenna was there early and communicated well as she had throughout from the first contact to now. We had a few shots we really wanted but other than that our badass photographer Jenna captured us and our family in moments that would have probably been missed by others. We absolutely LOVE our engagement and wedding photos thanks to Jenna. She flew to Puerto Rico to shoot our wedding weekend and absolutely killed it. Between the humidity, terrain, time constraints, and various personalities, she had to put up with quite a bit. But nevertheless our photos were stunning and actually ended up getting featured on some of the wedding blogs, including my favorite blog AislePerfect!

I never expected to have photos of my wedding that look like they'd be right at home in an editorial fashion magazine, but I got them thanks to Jenna's talent and creativity. She's is amazing to work with while shooting; she will put you at ease and make you laugh. She is also very professional - always on time, fast to answer email/calls, and she keeps up with new techniques to make sure her clients get the best photos possible. When the day is done you'll have your wedding photos to look back on - you won't regret hiring Jenna to capture it.

Jenna was Awesome! She was very professional, never once worried about our pictures, I'd also been admiring her pictures for forever and just worked out that she moved to Texas in time. She always responded quickly to any questions I had before the wedding. On the day of our wedding she was great with our guests and us. She kept us on track for the day and at the end made sure we had gotten all the pictures we wanted taken. She really goes above and beyond making sure we look good, hair was in place, and make-up was good to go.

We booked Jenna for our wedding, and she is AWESOME!! Not only was she super fun to work with on the front end, she was available, interested, and had a great client system. At our actual wedding, she was early, engaged, and worked so smoothly with everyone! Her work was AMAZING!! You can tell this is not just her profession but her art, and it showed in all the amazing shots she took and created. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest, she's such a talent, and she created images for us that we are going to cherish and come back to. To top it off, her turn around time was super quick, and access to our images was easy.

Creatrix Photography, Also known as Jenna, Also known as the most bad ass, weirdest, awesome photographer you can ever have is well worth checking her out. She is one of the first photographers I've ever worked with that actually takes pride in the physical art of photography rather than the art of knowing how to Photoshop to create beautiful images from mediocre ones. She has this glorious personality that will light up any room and you will never have any "forced smile photos" because she will be the life of the shoot and make you have a great time and laugh and love as you should be on these days... Instead of nervous and in generic poses. I highly recommend Jenna to anyone I know. I always show off her amazing work to people almost everywhere I go. As a member of the LGBT Community I love how engaged she is within this community and would do almost anything to accommodate her clients!

Jenna’s work speaks for itself. We picked her because she makes ordinary people look AWESOME. Jenna manages to bring out that inner light and beauty of the people in her photos. She also captures the emotion of the moment. She helps you be yourself, but like...the most ridiculously good looking version of yourself. :P On the business side, her communication is great--she replies to email/texts/etc in a timely manner--and she makes a sincere effort to get to know you. She totally put us at ease which helped us to feel comfortable and be more natural for the photos. She gets the photos back to you FAST--like within a week in our case. O_o She has a good electronic invoicing and contract system in place too, which helps keep track of everything and lets you easily check where you’re at with everything. She gets in touch and stays in touch from the moment you send your initial inquiry, through the contract signing, all the way up until you get your photos back--actually, you’ll probably be her friend by the time it’s all over, so she’ll be in touch even after. Beyond her gorgeous work and her professional acumen, Jenna also goes above and beyond. She has a TON of wedding experience and gives great advice on points you may not even have thought of. She makes sure you get all the standard family shots and then gets all those little wedding details that you don’t even think to photograph--the favors and centerpieces that you agonized over, the jewelry and accessories that you picked out special for the day, the bouquet, your wedding toppers, etc. Jenna will wake up at ungodly early hours to get you those sunrise shots you have to have. She’ll even help blot the sweat from your face so you don’t smudge your makeup if need be. :) She’s fantastic to work with. Jenna may be a little expensive, but she’s absolutely worth it. We originally weren’t sure we wanted to spend that much, but breaking down our package: rights to the photos, “all day shooting”, an included engagement session, and a complimentary giant wall print….. It was actually a great deal. We didn’t have to worry about rushing through our photo shoot at all; we got a little of everything from the getting ready, to the ceremony, the first dance, the cake cutting, etc. The rights too were huge since we can do whatever with them and don’t get nickeled and dimed on prints after the fact. All in all, we would unreservedly recommend her--after the wedding is all said and done, your photos are largely going to color how you remember the wedding--it’s one of the best investments you can make in your wedding budget.

Creatrix Photography (Jenna) did a wonderful job with our engagement shoot and wedding photographs. At the time of our wedding on Oahu, we were Oahu residents—but, knowing what we know now, we'd pay to fly Jenna anywhere in the world to take our wedding photos—she's just that good. Jenna is a consummate professional, who was dedicated to our satisfaction in every way. She met with us multiple times to go over what we wanted in the photographs from our wedding and our engagement shoot, as well as to present our wedding photos and our poster-sized canvas photo (an amazing perk that came in our wedding package—something that reminds us of our wedding everyday!). She was very upfront about what she would and would not do—and that frankness was much appreciated. She was very on top of things and had helpful automated reminders directing us to our wedding questionnaire as well as when our payments were due. She even learned the names of people in our bridal party and family, which made the posed family photos run a lot more smoothly! Where Jenna really shines, and why we hired her—is her candid shots. She was truly able to capture the moods, emotions and ambiance of the day—the photos are a genuine representation of the best day of our lives. We couldn't ask for better momentos, or ways to remember the day. Whenever we had questions or wanted to let her know something about our wedding (decorations, photo lists, etc.) she was quick to respond. She worked so tirelessly that we received our photos from the wedding well within a month. In fact, she sent a few photos within days, allowing us to get a glimpse of what was coming, as well as giving us the chance to use a photo for our thank you cards. Jenna may seem demanding as a photographer to some folks, including your guests, but she is really just trying to ensure the set photos you want get done and the wedding is able to move on. We really appreciated that, and she never ceased being courteous and a professional. At our wedding we did have a bonus second shooter that Jenna brought with her, though through no fault of Jenna's, the photos taken by the second shooter were lost due to an electronic glitch. That is really the only negative we can say about our experience, and since we weren't even expecting a second shooter (nor did we pay for one), its nothing that would keep us from recommending Jenna. As a final note, if you choose to do business with Jenna, be honest with her, embrace your adventurous side, and trust she will see it through with you every step of the way. The photos she took for and of us were amazing. Jenna goes above, beyond and back again for her clients. She is flexible, understanding and all of her photos could easily be pinned to any inspiration board for a "damn, my wedding looks good" Pinterest board, which was exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. I met with her two years before my wedding actually happened. We had to postpone our date multiple times due to family situations and every time I told her "Hey...so... Our date changed..." She was always cool and said something to the effect of "no problemo" even though she's one of the busiest people I've ever met. If you become a Creatrix bride, expect to be invited to board game nights, get your nails done together and basically gain a great new gal-pal in the months leading up to your wedding. I'm so glad we decided to have a small DIY wedding and splurge on the photography because in the end, she made our wedding look like we paid big bucks to cerastes a dreamy Pinterest wedding, which I feel every bride will appreciate.

The difference between having Jenna as your fabulous photographer, versus anyone else, is that: With other photographers, you may be uncomfortable and posing awkwardly, while smiling in the same stance, unsure what to do with your awkward face that doesn't feel attached to you anymore. With Jenna, she comes alive when she puts you in front of the camera, you can't help but laugh and smile and joke around. She directs you, on how to hide that double chin, or those love handles, to give you the most flattering pictures for your specific body type. She does this, and she loves to experiment with lighting, poses, putting you in candid pictures without you even noticing! My hesitant fiancé was even impressed that we had "fun" doing something he was seriously dreading. She's the only person I trust to fully capture our essence, and she's worth every penny 😉

I found Jenna on the The Knot while looking for a photographer for our destination wedding in Hawaii, all the way from NY. Wow.... I don't know where to start! I was planning my wedding in Oahu from California and the second I contacted Jenna, she was on it. She was prompt with the communication (I was having issues hearing back from other prospects) and was very helpful with everything. Jenna was so great at wrangling everyone together and went above and beyond for the perfect shot! We were in love with her BEFORE we got our pictures back. Once we got the pictures back from her we were absolutely blown away! The way Jenna captured all our special (and fun) moments was amazing!! We are beyond 100% pleased with the entire experience. My husband and I had a 10yr vow renewal in Maui with our 3 young children. After searching forever, Jenna came recommended to me, from my hometown family photographer. She was not on my original search list so I am so happy I asked!!!! Her prices were comparable to others in Maui or even cheaper. She customized a package for us because we were basically eloping on the beach and not having a reception. It was care-free, fun, and I LOVE OUR PICTURES!

My husband and I decided to elope in Oahu, and was referred to Jenna from one of our friends. We were pretty lost in our planning since we had never been to Oahu before, and Jenna stepped up and gave us references for everything! She hooked us up with an AMAZING florist, the nicest minister, and even a serene beach location for the event! With unpredictable traffic issues, Jenna worked directly with our minister to change our venue in the 11th hour, saving me the stress! Along the way, she also sent us reviews, questionnaires, and emails to make sure that our creative directions were on the same page. Then, on our wedding day, she was STELLAR! She showed up with an assistant who allowed her to give us more attention and take more photos of us. She made me feel so at ease (truly truly stress free)! She offered several different natural backdrops for a unique variety of photos in 1 location. We received a sneak peek the day of our wedding, and she leaked several photos a week (including publishing an amazing blog post about us) and over delivered on our photos--we got them 2 weeks after our wedding and every photo was just beautiful! Her photo site made ordering professional prints and downloading our high resolution photos extremely easy, and she personally checked in with us after delivery to make sure we were pleased. I can't say more--her communication, professionalism, and passion for the art were clear through execution and delivery. Best decision (other than picking my husband) ever!

From start to finish Jenna was awesome to work with. She was extremely flexible and accomodating with our schedule and location. We were having a destination wedding near Waikiki (we are from NC) and being unfamiliar with Hawaii she offered great suggestions on the best time of the morning to have good lighting for our ceremony and pictures. I couldn't believe some of the pictures she got during our ceremony... I truly never saw her one time the entire ceremony but the pictures looked like she could have been right next to us. Impressive! The post ceremony photo shoot went extremely well. Jenna has an excellent eye for what will make a beautiful picture and can really capture the moment all while making you feel very comfortable and natural. Her work truly is art. Highly recommended!

After searching through several online portfolios we stumbled across Jenna’s. Her photographs really caught our eye. She captures everything in one photo… the couple, the land and the moment in time. Yes I was a bride and I have been looking so much, went through so many websites and looked through so many photos to find a photographer I like. And luckily we found Jenna. We love our photos. I like how she is using the light, I love how with her photos she is telling a story. Jenna and her Associate Photograper were amazing! We have an Autistic/Down syndrome son who is hard to photograph and Jenna got him to look at the camera long enough to snap his photo every time. That in itself is a rare feit. She also did not take one picture I really did not like. I will recommend Jenna to any and all people who could use her services!!

Jenna was a pleasure to work with, and I would (and have) recommend her to anyone seeking professional photography services. I found Jenna through a bridal expo in Honolulu. Her photography style stood out to me, as I was looking for something very particular. We booked Jenna over a year in advance and she was so generous in allowing us to set up a payment plan. This granted us the opportunity to choose the photography package we really wanted, while not breaking the bank. Jenna's packages include an engagement session which helps you get to know her, lets her get to know you, and makes for a smooth sail on the wedding day. She's so natural at what she does, which makes you feel more relaxed, too. I loved how Jenna took charge on the wedding day, but also remained polite and friendly. The turn around time for getting your photos back is wicked fast! She's very proficient in returning emails in a timely manner, and she goes above and beyond to make her brides feel special. I cannot put into words how pleased we are with our wedding photos. She truly captured the emotion and story of the entire day. I'm so grateful for her, and her work.

Jenna was fantastic to work with! My wedding was in all honesty a little unorganized and Jenna came in not only wearing her photographer hat but also many others! I was so glad to have her around. She was the only vendor that I knew I could depend on, for those of you who have planned or are planning a wedding you know how good that feeling is. We also loved her work! As a little note Jenna is also very in tune with her clients. Shortly before our engagement session which involved our 2 pups one of them suddenly passed away. Jenna showed so much compassion and offered to take a few photos of her as a memorial before she had passed. The next day after the photos were taken she passed away. Both my husband and I are both so grateful that she was able to catch her last moments with us. All in all, we were very glad we chose Jenna!

When we started planning our wedding, my wife and me knew that photography was a major thing that we wanted to do right. My wife found Jenna and from the first meeting we had with her we were very at ease with her. She is very outgoing and up front with all aspects of her buisness. We had our engagement shoot with her before I left for a sixth month deployment and she made us very comfortable in front of the camera. She is very good with working with people and very experienced at making people feel at ease. She even maintained contact with me and my wife through my deployment to ensure that all aspects were covered. There was less than a month left to plan things after I got back, so she was very helpful in doing that over email. She is accomodating to those other ciurcumstances that may make that difficult. When the day of our wedding came around she was able to capture both my wife and my getting ready, and she was on-site in both locations to capture the key moments of each. At first, I was reluctant to do a first-look session with her as it is a departure from tradition, however, again she made me feel at ease, and I am very glad she did as they turned out beautiful and are a wonderful addition to our memories. She even put her own equipment at risk to capture the perfect shot (Rain and flashes don't mix, but they are awesome pictures!!!). I love Jenna so much and we will definitely use her again. I would whole-heartedly recommend her to friends and family for their photograph needs.

When we started planning our wedding I knew photography was #1 on my list of priorities. I wanted beautiful photographs to remember our day. That is exactly what we received with Jenna as our photographer. First, she shot our engagement photos before my fiance left on deployment. She made my fiance comfortable and was willing to find gorgeous shooting locations for us. My second session with her was for boudoir photos. I wanted to give my fiance a gift. The session was so much fun. It was never uncomfortable and the result was amazing! Finally, Jenna shot our wedding. She captured everything: the excitement of the wedding, the emotion of our vows, the shenanigans of the groomsmen, the innocence of the flower girls, the fun of the reception. Everything. Everyone loved the photos they were captured in. I can relive the day again and again in our beautiful photographs. I will book her again. We'll be using Jenna again for family photographs, maternity photos, and more!

i have to first off start with how much I love Jenna. I'm actually a pretty laid back bride and she lets me know when things need to be done but is not pushy in any way. I met Jenna through friends and then got to see her work. She does a fantastic job and is sooo professional. I know Jenna as a friend as well and she always tells you when she is switching hats from friend to photographer. She is always willing to give you her honest opinion. I think Jenna gives amazing rates. She is flying from Hawaii ( where we both live) to upstate New York ( where the wedding is) plus doing an engagement shoot and a complete wedding day for less than what we were quoted by a few people in the town we are getting married in. If you want a great photographer with an awesome personality...it's Jenna all the way.

Words cannot begin to express how grateful we were to find Jenna. I called her on the phone and felt an instant connection. She explains everything and even helped us hook up with others on the island to make our wedding a huge success!! She met us on the beach prior to our wedding to take an engagement shoot so we could have an in person meet and greet before the big day!! Never in my wildest dream would I have expected to receive my photos and LOVE each and every one of them!! Jenna is extremely artistic with her photography. She truly understands how to use her surroundings to elevate the emotions in her photos. I appreciated her honesty and opinions. Choosing the right photographer is one of the most important decisions you will need to make for your wedding day. Boy, did we luck out with Jenna! Not only was she super attentive to our needs and wishes, her experience proved most invaluable in deciding on the shots we would want (be sure to listen to her!). And, of course, her talent, eye and personality helped us to capture some of the most important moments of this day. If you've ever encountered a trustworthy sales person, you know that they do more than just sell you a product or service. They take time to understand what you're needs are, where and when the service they provide will suit you best and how their product or service will fit into your life. Creatrix Photography by Jenna provides nothing short of AMAZING photographs but also the great services for a (hopefully) once in a lifetime event. My wife and I live in Japan and had to remotely choose who we wanted as our photographer. We went online for a quest to search for the right person. Out of dozens of photographer's websites we looked at, everyone posts their best photographs on their website, make our venture to choose the right photographer difficult at first. But when we got to the Creatrix website, the inquiry form was what really sold us. The creativity put into the "contact us" was about a form that allowed us to tell her why we thought she was great, and the ability to tell her about us, all in a letter format to Jenna. The initiation process was already a letter to a friend. From there, her correspondence was great. Granted, my replies to emails were slow, but nonetheless she was always quick in getting back to us, and if she couldn't get back to us, we would get an answer as to what was to come. Her photography services combine the benefits of organized steps to get us prepared for the wedding, where and what she needs throughout the day and how she will deliver results, with the full creativity of a world-class photographer. She has a portal set up to make sure we know what we will get and to make sure we know what we need to provide so she can prepare for our day. The completed photograph package are made available online which is also available through an app which makes life easy for us when we're viewing. Throughout our wedding, she was proactive about getting our shots, and talked us through how we should pose and when we should be posing or just acting natural. The photographs are AWESOME! Classy, colourful and she is able to capture the moments perfectly. For our portrait shots, she set us up to create the moment we wanted her to capture. Her angles, her lighting and her charisma really helped to bring out the best in us. Right from start to the end delivery, she was perfect. We didn't have the chance to meet Jenna before we got to Hawaii, but after reading the reviews and even more so after experiencing the wedding day, and then after getting our photographs, we were happy that Jenna was part of our wedding experience. She helped make our wedding and she helped to leave every moment of our wedding for the rest of our lives. Oops... I forgot to mention. She is way cool and such an awesome person to hang out with. She's funny, witty and makes us laugh. Need I say more?

Jenna took our wedding pictures at the beach, and all I can say is WOW!!!! All my friends were impressed and said they were the best wedding pictures they have seen. Jenna was very creative in all of them and was able to beautifully capture the moment. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. But most importantly, Jenna was a wonderful person to work with. She was always very friendly and helpful. She recommended the perfect spot for the pictures as well as other people that could help us out.
