Our family had a blast! The salt chlorinated water helped keep eyes from being completely deteriorated spending 2 days in the water. The amenities are awesome. The rooms are clean and comfy. We had a great overnight stay in a double room with s...

If you pick the right days, the price can be very affordable. Our stay included two water park admissions with the room, and our baby was free, which made it a great economical choice for our family.
The property is very large and offers so man...
y different activities for all ages. Our baby absolutely loved the toddler pool area! The rooms were very nice, a bit dated, but still comfortable and clean.
My only small complaint is that the water park area could have been warmer. A few of my friends’ babies were so cold they were turning purple. That said, the kids still had the time of their lives.
Overall, we had an awesome experience and will definitely be back again for our little one!

Update: in addition to charging for parking, now the hotel has gotten rid of the vending machines and replaced them with signs telling people to go buy drinks and snacks at their tiny market downstairs. Where you can enjoy a soda for $4 each or...
a $3 bag of chips. It’s ridiculous. This will be our last visit after all this nickel and diming. What a greedy company. On top of all this, our current room is right adjacent to the service elevator. Which gives us a loud bang on the wall every time it’s used, so hard that you can see the wall move. Right outside our window is a view of the rooftop below, which has a large machine that runs extremely loud every hour. We are going to Wilderness at the Smokies next time. This is ridiculous. And it’s only the first day of our 4 day trip.
We have been to this location 4 times now. It’s only expensive if you don’t bother to use coupon codes, and there are literally always coupon codes. The restaurants in the hotel ARE rather expensive, so we always plan to only eat a couple of meals there and the rest we get takeout from a restaurant in the area. The staff is always very friendly. It’s a bit ridiculous that they now charge for parking in their own parking lot. I don’t know how they get away with that. And the rooms do not have microwaves in them since they want to force you to be so annoyed that you will just buy food from their restaurants. Which doesn’t work of course, people just order food from local places. But my kids always have fun when we are there. We rent a cabana because I’m not about to try racing for a chair every day then guarding it. The cabana packages come with various things like a stocked mini fridge, a meal at one of the restaurants, a tv in the cabana, towels, refillable soda cups, etc.

I had booked a family suite in early February for myself, husband and our two 3 year old grandsons for one night, on our way back from Disneyworld. I had spent the $35 for insurance just in case plans fell thru. We were suppose to be there Frid...
ay night Feb13. We were suppose to check out of Disney on Friday morning but my husband ended up getting sick and we ended up staying an additional night in Disney. When I called Great Wolf to see if we could change to Saturday night , she told me it would cost an additional $275. I said I bought the insurance and she said I could “ hold the room for another time” since the promotion when I originally purchased the room was over. I said , “ if I hold it for another time, will it cost me additional money?” And she said, “ yes because the promotion is over.” I asked if I could just cancel and she said I’d lose my $495 deposit. So I said “ well I guess we will pay the additional money because I didn’t want to lose the $500 I already put down!” She then gave me a “ break” and “only”charged me an additional $175. The lodge itself was fine. It’s huge. We were in the pool area for about 2 hours total that night. The room was nice and roomy and I had prepaid for the breakfast buffet which was very good- especially the guy who makes the omelets. My advice is Do Not waste your money on the insurance!

Our first day at the Wolf Lodge, we were putting our sons down for a nap and as my husband and I lay down two random people were able to unlock our door and almost walk into our room, we heard two voices say oh crap there’s somebody in here and...
quickly leave I’m not sure how or why other people’s wristbands allow to unlock and have access to other people’s room, but I feel like that is a safety issue.
Secondly, we ended up checking out a day early because we just didn’t feel comfortable and while checking out your customer service representative, Bianca was rude and seemed like she was dreading checking me out, I was not complaining to her or really saying anything other than I just wanted a receipt and a printout.
If you review your cameras, as we stayed in room 1130, on the first floor, you will see that two people entered our room and somehow were able to unlock the door with their wristband.
