We had our wedding here and can't say enough about how great Creeksbend is! From our very first contact with Rachel, we absolutely loved it. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and made our wedding day so amazing. The food was great, the staff was wonderful, and the venue is beautiful. Bryan, and all the staff, checked in with us multiple times throughout our day to make sure everything was perfect and they were so helpful with anything we needed. We absolutely loved our wedding day and very highly recommend Creeksbend!

The staff and venue were overall amazing. There was rain the morning of our big day and they were present and provided options to navigate it. We ended up having the ceremony outside with their help prepping the site just in time for the rain to let off. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Located within driving distance of downtown Minneapolis it offers you and your guests a convenient and attractive country retreat.
CreeksBend Golf Course clubhouse is a light and warm space that will make your guests feel welcome. The main room is an eye-catching setting in which to celebrate your love. It features two levels, with a raised mezzanine overlooking the main floor. High ceilings create a sense of space, whilst the warm wood used in its construction conjures a cozy and intimate atmosphere. A barn-like structure painted in shining white, it is certainly not lacking in charm. You can choose to host your ceremony outside on the course itself, with many different sites to choose from. Exchange vows on the lawn of the clubhouse, or under the shade of a leafy tree. A white wedding arch can also be set up to beautifully frame you and your loved one as you say “I do.” After dinner has been enjoyed the evening continues with guests enjoying drinks at the bar and relaxing on the raised patio that overlooks the course. In the days surrounding the event, you can come and preview the venue, meet its friendly staff, and, perhaps, enjoy a few rounds of golf.

This venue is more budget friendly which is what we were looking for. For the price, our experience was okay and we can't complain too much. However, there are a few things I think...
others should know before booking! The biggest issue we had was the ceremony. We were assured that this venue could fit 250, so our wedding of 120 would be no problem. We decided to have our ceremony inside to avoid the heat, and while walking down the aisle I noticed many of our guests standing at the back. They didn't put out enough chairs!!! They knew our exact headcount and assured us 120 could fit inside no problem, and yet we had family and friends standing for our ceremony. When they first set up the ceremony, the aisle was also so narrow that two people could not walk down together, especially a bride in a wedding dress with their father at their side. My family had to rearrange the chairs and move one vertical row to the back to make the aisle wider (this didn’t change the number of chairs so that was still on them). There were chairs for everyone for the dinner/reception portion so why didn’t they put out enough for the ceremony? Very poor planning on their part. Communication is also not the best. Obviously having never gotten married before, I wasn't sure what information they needed about the plan for the day and I had a lot of questions. It often took at least a week for them to get back to my emails and they almost never contacted me first for information. So just don't expect much guidance from them. The coordinator can also be a bit rude at times, and I barely saw her all day. However, the young women that were bartenders the night of our wedding were so kind and amazing! The food was not the best dinner ever but it was decent, especially for the price so no complaints there if you are worried about having to use their food. They have a lot of options as well. Lastly, the biggest pro is that the venue looked beautiful in all our pictures - both inside and outside. It is a beautiful budget venue and a great reception space for a smaller wedding. Even though they say they can do up to 250, I could not imagine any more than we had (120) fitting. Our guests were very tight for the dinner and like I already mentioned, they didn't have enough seats or space for the ceremony. Overall, I would only recommend CreeksBend if you are having a small wedding, need something budget friendly and can't find better, and are okay with handling things yourself and double checking the venues set up. If you have a planner or real day of coordinator (not their "coordinator") you will probably be better off. However, then you might as well use those funds for a better venue! Overall we had a lovely day and don't regret anything - I just want to make others aware of the few issues we had! For price transparency: we spent ~$7000 total, including taxes and gratiuity with all the lowest priced options and just meeting the food/drink minimum.

d about their food. What we didn't know when we booked, was that the venue would become the site of our wedding ceremony as well. A forecast of 2-3 inches of cold, wind-driven rain for our wedding day prompted us to change our plans of an outdoor ceremony at home. Just days before the event, a (somewhat frantic) call to Banquet Coordinator, Rachel Evans, was all that it took to initiate a "Plan B." Rachel worked with us to provide a space that was not only warm and dry, but also a beautiful place to exchange our vows.
It's been almost a week since our wedding, and we continue to receive compliments about the event. Our guests were impressed with the great food; the lovely grounds; the friendly, accommodating staff, and the overall warm feeling of the space.
We're very happy with the decision we made to choose CreeksBend, and we're indebted to Rachel and the rest of the staff for their professionalism, hard work, and kind hearts!

gical. We looked at several venues and immediately fell in love with CreeksBend. It is 100% the best bang for your buck close to the twin cities. They are unique in allowing beverage expenses in their food minimum which makes it a great option for weddings of ~100 people like ours. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner here and are so happy we did - we loved spending more time familiarizing ourselves with the venue and staff. Our day was perfect and I know that CreeksBend was a huge reason why. I wouldn’t change a thing!

l was even able to get us a keg of beer from our favorite brewery for the same cost as a keg from Creeksbend. This venue had everything we could have ever needed and wanted for our reception venue, while also being without our modest price point. I recommend Creeksbend to anyone looking for a beautiful venue that includes everything for an amazing price!

They're many different backgrounds, spots, and styles for wedding pictures as well. The bridal getting ready room was just the perfect spot. The banquet manager, Rachel, was accommodating and very understanding when working through all the details and communication was easy and prompt. Lots of food options and onsite liquor is also awesome! If you're looking for a venue with indoor and outdoor areas, lots of space for guests to talk and relax, options for outdoor games (entertainment) and everything included already at the venue, look no further! I could not have asked for a better wedding day and Creeksbend was the perfect place. I

venue & my oh my, it was perfect. Immediately I reached out to Rachel (the banquet manager) and we set up a time to meet. She was incredibly responsive and answered my millions of questions so promptly. We put down our deposit and began planning our dream wedding for June 20th, 2020. Then… COVID hit… we decided it would be best to postpone our wedding for the safety of our guests. Again, Rachel & the whole CreeksBend crew were so accommodating!! We switched our date to June 19, 2021. It was the most beautiful and perfect day. The staff, the venue, the food, EVERYTHING was absolutely incredible. This venue exceeded all of our expectations and then some. If I could give CreeksBend 1 million stars, I would. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, affordable venue, this is it! With the added bonus of all alcohol and food being on site— no need to get a liquor license or hire an expensive caterer!! Thank you Rachel and staff for the most perfect day!

on our own end because of the weather and Rachel did everything she could to make our day everything we wanted! Rachel was always willing to answer a phone call, text, or reply to an email at any time of the day. She really helped me get through the wedding planning process, and was very accommodating for the set up and decoration process as well! The day of the wedding all the staff did a wonderful job making sure all our guests needs were meet. I was extremely happy with our wedding day overall!
