Everyone was asking how we found this band, and all I can say was that we were very lucky to have chosen Crescent City Soul. Wendy was also very easy to work with and had great communication before hand, which allowed us to focus on just enjoying our wedding reception. We cannot recommend Crescent City Soul enough.

shorter engagement (10 months) I felt the pressure of wanting to get something secured QUICK! We chose Crescent City Soul, and I couldn’t have been more happy to have them at our wedding! The music selections were PERFECT! They were very interactive with our guests! Wendy was amazing to work with, very communicative, and very accommodating! I’m so grateful we had them be a part of a big day! They really created the vibe we dreamed of and executed with perfection! 10/10!

any guests said they were the best wedding band they've ever heard, and we whole-heartedly agree. They really knocked it out of the park, and we are so glad we chose them. During wedding planning, we listened to at least 10 of the typical New Orleans wedding bands and were having trouble finding a group that was vibrant, talented and entertaining. A friend recommended Crescent City Soul to us after we reached out, as he's super connected to the New Orleans music scene. We listened, and they were the perfect fit. Prior to our wedding, the band was incredibly communicative and professional. They even learned our first dance song, going above and beyond for us. At the wedding, they played the perfect mix of wedding classics and more contemporary hits, and were instrumental in getting people on the dance floor and creating the fun party atmosphere we wanted for our reception. Our wedding was a blast, based in no small part on Crescent City Soul. In our opinion, Crescent City Soul is easily the best wedding band in Nola, and we highly recommend using them for any kind of event. They are so talented and really bring an exciting energy - again, our guests could not stop talking about how great our band was.

o our first dances beyond what any DJ could dream of doing. They had 4 singers out (not including our wedding guests who got on stage) and each one of them was incredible. There was a perfect replication of Louis Armstrong amongst others. They hit the classics but also some of the more niche punk rock songs we wanted and a few surprise bangers in there. They are a large part of why our wedding was so fun. Cannot recommend enough. We love these guys so much and are so grateful for how they elevated our wedding.

hey worked with us to create our set list so everything was crafted to our event. We plan to book them for Prom again in 2024. Even if you can't go see them in a public venue before booking them, you will not be disappointed booking them for your event.

very accommodating to our requests that we sent in a few months before the wedding. We’re very picky about what songs we don’t like and they didn’t play anything we didn’t want to hear. We asked for a lot of New Orleans music - they blew us away with the Treme Song for our second line and Pocky Way was a highlight. We asked them to play any Billy Joel song they’d like and they crushed it with “You May Be Right.” Their versatility is tops! We danced our asses off all night and they were the fuel for the party. Four months after the fact and people are still raving to us about Crescent City Soul! They might be the best kept secret in town!

think they could have chosen better than Crescent City Soul. CCS has an amazing sound (love those horns!!), and they are so responsive to the wishes of the couple. Wendy was very easy to work with. She knows when to give the couple the spotlight, and when to get right in the middle of everything to keep that party going. We had a four hour reception, and I don't think anyone was ready to leave when it was over. The dance floor was packed! My friends (50s and 60s) loved it, my daughter's friends (20s and 30s) loved it, and I'm pretty sure the teenagers did too, since they were out there dancing all night. I would definitely hire them again! CCS is wonderful! Do yourself a favor and check out Crescent City Soul Band.

That was a quick no from us. Enter Wendy with Crescent City Soul. She was so easy to talk to and up front about all of the bands needs for an outdoor venue. She was quick to respond to all of our emails. CCS also did our second line after the ceremony for a fair price and they did a wonderful job. As for the reception, they were everything I dreamed of and more. So much talent. Our guests danced the night away and are still raving about our band. A total dream come true for a wedding band. CCS was truly everything we looked for in a band and MORE! Wendy was beyond professional, responsive and flexible to work with (not easy planning a wedding during covid). And to top it all off we JAMMED the night of our wedding!!! I think the dance floor was packed the entire night. Friends and family are still talking about how amazing the band was! Would 100% recommend CCS for any event (not just wedding) that you are looking to have a good time/dance at! Not to mention - amazing price point for the caliber of talent. Will definitely hire for my next event in LA!
