Kelly and the whole team at Cress Creek Country Club made planning my wedding so much easier and enjoyable. Kelly easily walked me through all the decisions I would need to make for the wedding and provided incredible suggestions for wedding vendors that I would need. She was so responsive to all my questions as well. The venue itself is beautiful with an amazing veranda for cocktail hour. The food was fantastic! Everyone at my wedding kept raving about the food. Everyone at Cress Creek was also so helpful with any requests or questions. I am so grateful to Cress Creek for helping make my wedding day so remarkable. Anyone who has their wedding there will not be disappointed!

We pulled off a “perfect pandemic wedding” at CCCC and honestly would not have changed one thing! Kelly and her staff are so knowledgeable and helpful in every way- from 1year out planning until the day of the event. We had every confidence that what we asked of her and the staff at CCCC could be made possible. Our vendors worked seamlessly with guidance from Kelly. The meal was excellent and was raved about among those who attended. The club was glowing and transformed into the modern rustic, moody elegant venue we were hoping for. We cannot speak highly enough of our wedding experience at Cress Creek Country Club!

This is the place for a low stress, beautiful, delicious and memorable wedding reception. This was our second reception. We got married on my family farm out of state and then did a second reception for my husband's family and our Chicago friends at Cress Creek. With already planning one wedding out of state, we were looking for something that was not going to add too much to the stress. We went to Cress Creek because it was well rated and we new some people who golfed there. We were honestly shocked at how easy it was. We attribute our decision to chose Cress Creek almost entirely because of Kelly, the event coordinator. She was eager, so nice, didn't oversell anything, understood our wishes and executed them beyond expectation. She is the reason we were able to actually enjoy the party. She took care of everything, guestbook set up, decorations, last minute changes, video set up, and checked with us throughout the night to see if we needed anything. I cannot say enough thanks to her. Also, the FOOD was delicious. We had so much fun at the tasting and the actual food the night of did not disappoint. Many people made comments about how surprisingly good it was for a served dinner. We did the duet and the herb sauce on the chicken is the best sauce I have ever had on chicken, ever. Also, try the potatoes dauphine. So good. In summary, you cannot go wrong here. It is the entire package and it was outstanding.

Everything about our wedding was amazing and we have Kelly from Cress Creek Country to thank. She was helpful, organized and genuinely enthusiastic about making our big day amazing. We had both our ceremony and reception at the country club. Both the golf course and clubhouse are beautiful and made for great photos. And the food…the food was to die for and our guests are still talking about how delicious it was. I would highly recommend Cress Creek as everything about it exceeded our expectations!

We have worked with the staff at Cress Creek on many occasions as a vendor. Our floral design studio, Belles & Thistles, has collaborated with many clients who have had ceremonies and/or receptions there and we've had nothing but good experiences. We're always so delighted when they book us both because we really love the clean, classic, timeless feel of their ballroom and the day of set up is always so stress free. The Catering Director Kelly is always in site during our installations and is happy to help when vendors and guests alike have needs or special requests. The spaces are always immaculate, the attention to detail is on point (which is important to us as designers) and the events run smoothly each and every time. It's one of those places where you can really tell they care that your event turns out exactly how you envisioned it. The dining tables are always set very early in the day, which is so nice for us so we can spend a quality amount of time putting out centerpieces, candles and accent decor. Having a tiny set up window to rush around and make magic happen is the worst. The outdoor spaces and golf course itself are beautiful too. Ceremonies on the patio or out by the water feature are picturesque during all 4 seasons. Highly Recommend, we love to work there!

From the moment we decided to have our reception at Cress Creek Country Club, we knew we made the right choice. Kelly Lynch was extremely attentive and anticipated our needs from start to finish. Everything on the day of our wedding was seamless and perfect. The setup of the space was exactly how we envisioned, the food was delicious, and all of our guests truly enjoyed themselves. We had our wedding reception at Cress Creek six weeks ago, and we still have family and friends talking about how wonderful of a time they had. We know this is because of the exceptional service we received from Kelly and the entire team at Cress Creek. We can’t recommend this venue enough to others to cherish memories for a lifetime!

My husband and I got married in September of this year at Cress Creek Country Club and had the best possible experience. From meeting Kelly at a bridal expo just days after I got engaged all the way to the wedding day, Kelly was responsive, extremely helpful, professional and committed to ensuring we had exactly the day that we were planning. Once we met with her and toured the venue, we knew we didn’t need to see anywhere else. Kelly recommended some other great vendors to work with and we were very happy with their service as well! Kelly truly thinks of everything and does amazing work. The food at Cress Creek is phenomenal- all of the guests couldn’t stop telling us how delicious everything from the appetizers to the entree and cake were!

My daughter had her wedding her I can not say enough about the place. The venue was great and the food was fantastic. Best though was Kelly. She made sure everything ran right on time and without a hitch. We have gotten numerous compliments about how smoothly everything ran and how good the food was!!

Oh my goodness where do we even begin with this venue! Cress Creek is absolutely incredible. Kelly, the catering director, is beyond fantastic! She made sure everything was INCREDIBLE and even better than I would have dreamed of. The food is out of this world! From the appetizers to the main course, and the wedding cake everything was fantastic. The venue offers spaces for beautiful photos. The staff is so friendly and helpful with everything! We cannot say enough about Cress Creek and how amazing their team is! 100% would book an event with Kelly again! She's the best ever!

Best wedding venue in illinois! Kelly Lynch was INCREDIBLE to work with! She made our day so special and was so organized. This venue is STUNNING too!! Kelly was instrumental in making our daughter’s wedding a memorable one. To this day, many guests have commented how the wedding was both majestic and epic. Without Kelly, those words would not resonate. Kelly was far more than her title, “Catering Director.” We planned the majority of the wedding since the bride and groom live out of town and we needed a wedding planner, counselor, stress reducer, strong communicator, etc. Kelly fulfilled these roles and much more. We are eternally grateful for her professionalism, guidance, eye for style, and organizational skills. Kelly was honest and gave valuable input regarding food selection, decorating, timeline, seating, and more. Kelly transformed the club into a stunningly beautiful venue. In addition, guests raved about the appetizers and main entree. Our daughter said it was a magical night. My wife and I were so pleased with choosing Cress Creek for our reception. Everything from the facilities to the staff and location were perfect. Throughout the entire process, Kelly made sure everything ran smoothly in the planning aspects. She was very clear on timelines and had lots of recommendations while respecting our own wishes. While I was wedding planning, I had to make hundreds of decisions – I had to pick the flowers, the music, the decorations, and countless other things. It was exhausting because I am a painfully indecisive person. However, I can honestly say, without hesitation, that my decision to have our wedding reception at Cress Creek was the BEST decision I made during the planning process. And while Cress Creek is an absolutely beautiful venue, this wasn’t the reason that I booked at CC – it was Kelly. Kelly was, simply put, amazing and she was the Wedding Coordinator of my dreams. Within minutes of meeting her, I loved her. She was incredibly easy to talk to (even for an introvert like me), she was charismatic and, most importantly, it was very apparent that she was genuinely passionate about making our wedding day 100% perfect. And I can honestly tell you that she not only followed through, but she even exceeded my wildest expectations. In fact, the week before my wedding, I dropped off all of my decorations with Kelly and, when she asked where I wanted to put all of them, I told her that I had no idea. But when Kelly first revealed the room to me on my wedding day, I was so overwhelmed with joy that I cried. She somehow brought my vision to life, even when I didn’t have one. And, at the end of the night when I had to say goodbye to Kelly, I cried again at how perfect she and the CC staff made our day – and she even cried with me because she clearly genuinely cared about making us happy. Kelly’s organization, coordination, and customer service skills are unparalleled. She responded to my emails within a matter of hours, if not minutes, at all times of day (which is NOT how most vendors operate). She answered every single stupid question without making me feel bad, eased every panicked worry (no matter how ridiculous), and always left me smiling or laughing at the end of our conversations in-person and on the phone. She was flexible and often bent over backwards to give us everything that we wanted, even when we thought it wasn’t possible. Kelly (and the entire staff at Cress Creek) were professional, accommodating, and just perfect in every way. I do also want to give a HUGE shout-out to David, the Executive Chef, and his team. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received on the food at our wedding. We decided on the Tuscan Chicken entrée for our guests and let me tell you – it was to die for! The hors d’oeuvres were also wonderful (thank you to the staff for making sure I tried every single one!), the mashed potatoes and jumbo asparagus spears were a hit, and the cake from DeEtta’s was perfect!! I could go on and on about all of my wonderful memories working with Kelly and the Cress Creek staff the year before my wedding, but I will end with a message to all the future brides out there: I know that you are going to make whatever decision is right for you. But if you are even slightly considering the possibility of having your wedding at Cress Creek, you should make an appointment with Kelly. I have no doubt that you will fall in love with her and Cress Creek within minutes. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Kelly was very helpful, kind, and attentive to all of our needs and concerns. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without all of her hard work. Cress Creek worked with us every step of the way to make our wedding exactly what we wanted and perfect! Their attention to detail was honestly flabbergasting. The food was AMAZING and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was! They let us customize pretty much everything to make our wedding unique! Truth be told, the best part of our entire wedding process was Kelly. She personally made sure that everything was exactly right. She even fluffed out my veil for me before we were announced for the reception :’) She guided us through everything, because we didn’t know what we were doing, haha. A few of our guests who were recently married came up to us to tell us how great she is, and that they wished their coordinator was as good as her. If you choose Cress Creek, you will have the easiest and best experience possible. Ok, I’ll stop gushing about them now LOL

Cress Creek is the best! I am beyond thrilled that I had my wedding here. Kelly Lynch, the coordinator at Cress, is absolutely amazing and has great attention to detail. You do not need your own wedding planner if you have Kelly. She is so attentive to all of the details and is super quick when responding to emails. She made sure to coordinate with all of the vendors to make sure the day went as planned. Cress Creek has amazing food - it is not your typical banquet food. I got so many compliments from guests about the quality of the food. The staff at Cress go above and beyond to give you the best bang for your buck with the highest quality. The facility is great with the outside veranda. We had our ceremony on the 1st hole and it was set up so beautifully. I can’t say enough about Kelly and Cress. I would recommend this country club to anyone for any type of event.

We got married at Cress Creek on July 6, 2018. I must say that this venue is absolutely amazing! The grounds are beautiful and the room is absolutely stunning. The wait staff here is responsive and friendly. Kelly Lynch the catering director at Cress Creek was phenomenal! She made many accommodations for us and ensured that our day was amazing! She was so responsive to emails and phone calls - even outside of her work hours. Kelly made our wedding everything we wanted and more. It was stunning! The food was also amazing! All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the appetizers and the food! We were extremely impressed and are beyond grateful for the wonderful experience we had! Cress Creek and specifically, Kelly were amazing for our wedding. My husband and I got married at Cress Creek in October 2017. Our experience was outstanding, in particular, Kelly was outstanding! Starting with our tasting, Kelly and the chef were extremely honest and shared their recommended dishes based on their experience which my family appreciated. Planning the details of the wedding, Kelly accommodated our site visits and any ideas we had, she helped bring them to life and, in fact, improve upon them. The day of the wedding was executed very well by Kelly and her team. Things moved seamlessly and the sit down dinner food was served hot (even the soup)! Kelly made sure to find me, my husband, and my parents during the wedding to ensure we saw the start of our various arrangements (late night food, favors, etc). THANK YOU!

I had my wedding at Cress Creek Country Club on September 23, 2017. My experience with Cress Creek, Kelly in particular, was absolutely amazing! When you think most ideal person to work with, Kelly definitely fits the description and then some! She was incredibly helpful from start to finish, offered so much knowledge and creativity to my wedding planning, and you can tell that she absolutely loves what she does! The venue itself is gorgeous, both inside and out, and the photos I received back from my photographer were made so much more amazing due to the beauty of this place. Don't get me started on how great the food was. Family and friends are STILL raving about it - especially the s'mores bar that I personally highly recommend having :) I recommend Cress Creek to anyone getting married that wants an amazing venue, amazing food, and an even more amazing person to work with throughout their wedding planning process :)

Our experience with Cress Creek and Kelly for our daughter's wedding reception was fabulous. We were so pleased with everything from start to finish. Kelly was amazing to work with. We had our son’s wedding party at Cress Creek Country Club in Naperville and were abundantly pleased and satisfied with the all around excellence. Kelly provided wisdom, creativity and years of expertise toward helping us to bring all details together. The actual space is lush with use of attached veranda overlooking the golf course. We even had a bar and heater on the veranda! The servers were pleasant and did an excellent job serving hors d oeuvres and making sure they connected with everyone. The food quality and presentation was beyond magnificent. One of our appetizer selections was cheese and crackers and I was blown away by the variety and quality of the cheeses. We had a successful champagne toast and the staff quickly delivered glasses to all guests. Greater than a 5 star experience!!!

This was the second wedding we’ve had at Cress Creek Country Club in the last three years. Once again they provided a stellar event on all levels! The service was friendly and efficient. I can not say enough about the Catering Manager Kelly. She makes the day so easy and deserves the highest marks possible. The Chef David’s dinner was outstanding too. After the first wedding at Cress Creek my California relatives were still talking about the food a year later. It is an ideal golf club setting with amazing photo opportunities just steps away from the venue door. You would never regret having a wedding here. Everyone was so responsible and respectful with COVID-19. Obviously after having two amazing weddings here, I would definitely recommend Cress Creek Country Club!

If I could give ten stars I would. We LOVED our wedding at Cress Creek. We did an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. Kelly and the team made everything flawless. She was so organized and thoughtful, she communicated well with me and kept me updated. She even went the extra mile to help us set up and store our homemade chuppah the night before for the rehearsal and then the day of the wedding. Kelly seemed to genuinely care about rain on our wedding day and had really easy back up plans just in case. The food was excellent, our guests had so much fun and so did we. We thought the surroundings were beautiful and that Cress Creek truly was the perfect venue. For the cost we felt we were cheating them! I have been in six weddings before my own (right?!) and I can honestly say our wedding was one of the nicest for half the price due to how great Cress Creek was.

If you want to have your wedding somewhere where you will not have to stress about ANYTHING, go to Cress Creek. Tara and her team made our day perfect down to the last detail, and I never felt like anyone was too busy to answer my questions or help me out. Tara is professional, friendly, and extremely easy to deal with. The venue itself is gorgeous, with tons of room for dancing and even an outdoor area with a wrap around porch. I HIGHLY recommend Cress Creek.

We worked with Theron, the club banquets and events planner. He was very knowledgeable about how much food to serve, the time line for the evening, and the little things I never would have thought about. I did not use a wedding planner and found that I did not need one because he was so competent. Our wedding reception went off without a problem and it was all due to the great people that work at Cress Creek. The food was also fantastic and it was so nice to not have to worry about finding a food vendor and a separate liquor vendor. We were able to write one check to pay for almost our entire wedding reception! I would definitely recommend this venue!
