Crested Butte Mountain Resort

We used Crested Butte Mountain Resort for our hotel room block. It was easy to set up, guests got a discount on several different properties with options ranging from hotel rooms to multi bedroom, multi bathroom condos, all at discount. Prices were reasonable for a mountain town in the middle of the summer high season.

The Crested Butte Mountain Resprt was an absolutely gorgeous place to hold our wedding, and the catering was superb. All of our guest had nothing but compliments!

Our ceremony and reception were both located at Uley's Cabin. We had about 50 guests, which fit perfectly on the deck, and we had five tables inside with plenty of space left for dancing. The interior of the cabin has a quaint, Western feel to it, and I was afraid it might look strange with the formal table settings, but it was beautiful. The wedding was the last weekend in September, and the deck overlooked a mountain range with lots of aspen trees that were turning a beautiful gold. They provided a fire pit for us so we could have part of the reception outside and stay warm. The service was great. The only complaint I have is that the wedding coordinator never returned emails or calls, but we didn't pay any extra for a coordinator, so it was just a minor frustration and I planned everything myself anyway. The service staff was excellent, and the reception went really smoothly. The food was great also. I can't imagine the wedding going any better, and I would definitely recommend getting married here. It was also a lot cheaper than other mountain resorts we looked at in some of the larger ski towns.

The ceremony site, top of Red Lady Lift, and the reception site, Uley's Cabin, were both beautiful and the scenery is amazing!! The service was good- there were some failed communication and a few issues that I was unhappy with but nothing major and nothing the guest would notice. The wedding coordinator was difficult to get a hold of with questions but face-to-face was very nice. The location was by the far the best part- the views were unbeatable and Uley's Cabin is perfect for a wedding of any size- the deck and outdoor bar are perfect for cocktail hour and the fire pit was perfect for the evening. The tent was big enough that 100 people had plenty of room. The linens and settings were nice, the food was pretty good, the service was excellent.
