Jay was a wonderful DJ! He was very familiar with our venue, Morton Arboretum, and helped make planning wedding music from another state a breeze. The portal for picking songs was easy to use and the selection thorough. Also, coordinated very well with the other vendors.

Jay was a wonderful decision in a DJ. He's engaging without being overbearing, he's helpful with suggestions & thorough in his planning process. We loved every minute of his services! At the last minute (less than 2 weeks away from the wedding), our officiant decided that he wasn't comfortable flying from California to perform our ceremony. Since we had previously eloped & didn't need the legal portion, we wanted to incorporate a virtual officiant. Jay provided suggestions of what technology to use, guidance on the best way to ensure everything went well, and our quintessential COVID wedding officiant went off without a hitch!

We cannot begin to even thank Jay for making our big day absolutely magical. He began his day with us doing our ceremony music, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. So many of our guests commented on his ability to read the crowd and truly make the night fun and amazing! We did not have a wedding day planner either and because of Jay, he kept everything on time and made everything flow so smoothly. Having a Chicago wedding while planning it many states away, I knew we made the right choice when we he reached our multiple times to make sure everything was on track and if there was anything he could help with. Jay was really great to work with and everything was seamless from beginning to end. The only downside is Jay did not wear a mask while coming within 6 feet of guests. We tried hard to make it a safe event for everyone so that was a bit dissapointing. However, this is a personal ask and has nothing to do with his DJ/ music skills - all his services were great!

Jay did an amazing job organizing and orchestrating our wedding reception. His planning process and online portal was very thorough and made sure that nothing fell through the cracks. Above and beyond! Jay worked with us for two years both before and during the pandemic, and we could not have pulled this off without him. We couldn't have been happier with DJ Jay/Crestline. We went with him because he would let us choose as much or little of the music as we wanted, he was price competitive, and he had experience at our venue. Jay has a comprehensive planning form and he calls the week of to ensure he is 100% prepared to pronounce names correctly, etc. On our day, he showed up well in advance for setup, and he did a great job reading the room all night, communicating with us, and keeping the dance floor full. Jay was fantastic! Leading up to the big day, they have a website that you customize everything to the way you would like it on your big day. If you have any questions about how to do something on the website, Jay was very willing to answer them and help me work through to get what we wanted! Working with DJ Jay was a dream, especially during a wedding planning process that can, at times, be stressful. This review is very late but Jay made the music for our wedding everything we wanted! He was professional, available, and helped us through the whole process. I wanted certain music played through dinner and I was able to make my own playlist. The price was very reasonable and they kept everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. I can not thank jay enough for the amazing job he did! He was so hands on from the beginning to the end. He always sent emails to ask us questions, the communication was always clear. He let us use this website where we set up a timeline, put the songs we wanted to hear at our wedding. We spoke a few days before the wedding to go over what we put on the website, he wanted to make sure the names of our wedding party would be said correctly. DJ Jay was a great fit for my wedding! He was professional and friendly and did a fantastic job playing music that fit our event. He offers and online planning portal, which was such a great help! Not only was I able to choose the songs I wanted to be played, but could also provide Jay with a timeline (what time cocktail, dinner, cake cutting, speeches, etc. were to happen). This also allowed him to touch base with me a few days before the wedding and go over the timeline to make sure everything was set for the event. He had great interaction with the crowd (and even did the Cha Cha Slide with all of us) and came dressed to impress (we got married at the Lyric Opera of Chicago). I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

AMAZING!! DJ Jay was fantastic to work with! I planned my wedding from Arizona and he was accommodating in setting up phone meetings and really tried to get an understanding of what type of music we wanted. DJ Jay did it again! He has been our families Go-To-DJ for years, as always goes above and beyond while keeping the dance floor moving all night. Our ceremony was on site, so Jay came early for reception setup to be sure to be out of the way, and had guests of all ages enjoying his song selection. We have used Crestline DJ service for all of our three daughters weddings. He was so great with our first daughter’s wedding we continued using him for all of our three girls weddings. Our last daughter got married in 2018 and we highly recommend Jay. He really kept the party going and made the weddings truly memorable! again we Thank crest line services.

Jay was absolutely incredible and I am so happy we had him as our DJ for our wedding in September 2018. He was very professional and friendly throughout the entire process, from the first consultation meeting to the end of the wedding. He spent nearly an hour on the phone with my husband and I walking through the plan and went over every detail with us, and when the day came, he made sure everything ran smoothly. DJ Jay was an amazing DJ! He used our playlist while also feeling the crowd and playing songs they requested. He also made sure to give us a heads up for the garter toss etc. to keep us on track. Everyone was raving about the music and lighting and how much fun they had!

Jay and Mark did a great job for our daughter's wedding. He was communicative with her and her fiancé, he double checked the music they wanted and when they wanted it played. He made sure the music flowed well, had great dinner music and had good music for the young people who stayed late. He kept us on track during the evening for the toasts, bouquet and garter toss. Jay was the perfect selection for my wedding. Selecting him made everything easy. His website and past experience made planning simple and straightforward. I learned much about weddings just from the process of music planning. He had a large selection of great music and was able to handle some very select titles during the wedding for a sing along or two which made for a great evening. The setup and execution were excellent, the lighting professional, and the special dances really got everyone dancing at our small wedding. I would definitely recommend Jay for your wedding.

Jay was so patient with us. He accommodated every change we asked for. His ability to read the crowd was extremely helpful.

As a second wedding, we were not following many of the traditions associated with a first wedding which may have thrown many a DJ off; but Jay, the seasoned pro, took it all in stride. We had an outdoor ceremony, for which Jay provided the music beautifully. Our reception was at a restaurant in which Jay was allocated a spot in the bar area without specified dance floor for dancing. But let me tell you, 'there was dancing!' and lots of it! Jay transitioned from beautiful background music during the cocktail hour and dinner to 'Let's Party' amazing well. We wanted our day to be a fun day celebrating with friends and family. It was everything we wanted! And Jay played an integral role in delivering this. There were compliments on the DJ galore!

First of all, you cannot get a more professional DJ than Jay. Thank you so much for your incredibly organized website, you get to pick the songs for each part of your wedding in the comfort of your home. My wife and I opened some wine, turned up the speakers and planned all our wedding music in about 6 hours, by far one of the most fun nights you can possibly have while planning a wedding. Jay then takes your music you picked and goes through it all with great detail and compiles a list of questions and any clarifications he needs. He then sets up a meeting at a coffee bar and goes through everything with you, this gives you so much confidence that the dj services at your wedding will be perfect. He even bought music for us that he didn’t have in his library!! The actually wedding was just perfect, there was not a single moment I found my self thinking the music was going to slow, fast, quit, loud or songs I don’t like. Jay does a great job keeping the crowd having fun! Overall I give Jay my highest recommendation!!

You cannot get better than Jay. My wedding is the third wedding he has done for our family. He is professional, friendly, responsive to emails/phone calls, and on time. He has a great planning tool and listens to your requests. The best part about Jay is that he is INTERACTIVE. He actually gets out on the floor with you. He was teaching us how to do certain dances or just doing the dances along with us. Despite it being an early in the day wedding, he was full of energy. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing he is. They couldn't believe that he would actually get out on the floor with us. I wanted to post photos but doesn't seem like the knot will let me.... Regardless, you will NOT regret hiring Jay.

I can't think of enough positive things to say about my experience with Jay from Crestline. My good friend referred us to him after he performed at both her and her older sister's wedding, and he did not disappoint. I would have to say that my favorite part about working with him throughout the planning process was how friendly he was and easy to speak to. I never felt awkward or obligated to go along with an idea that he had- we were always able to throw out new ideas without pressure. The conversations were always very honest and he was always a great listener. He was VERY well organized and had a great memory. Everything went exactly how I had asked, so I could not expect more. He also was funny and very interactive with the crowd, evening joining us in the cha cha slide. He was able to accommodate the different tastes of our families, who are from very different backgrounds. I truly was nervous about how that would play out, but it worked out very well. My parents had a lot of their favorite songs played, which I really appreciated. I needed a DJ with experience and the ability to accommodate a diverse crowd, and Jay did not disappoint. He went above and beyond to make our day special and fun :) thanks again!

Jay at crest line - Jay was the best for our wedding on September 16, 2017. He was very professional and easy to work with while planning our wedding reception. His process walked us wthrough step by step which helped us immensely. We were so lucky to be able to call him with any questions and he took time to personally help us. We had our wedding in October at Maggianos in Naperville. Jay was the only DJ I called that went out-of his way to help and accomodate us from the very beginning to the end of the reception. We hired Jay for our wedding's music and lighting decor, and could not be happier. He was professional, timely, and really understood us as a couple. He provided the music and microphones for our outdoor ceremony, and everything went off without a hitch. All of our guests could hear us and our officiant speak! Jay and his assistant, Jared, were absolutely wonderful before and during our reception. They played a wide variety of music, including our favorite 90s' songs and music to appeal to older and younger generations. They were flexible as my husband and I like to keep things more laid back rather than to a strict schedule; however, when we wanted things done, they were more than happy to oblige! I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a Chicagoland DJ for any event.

We met with Jay, the owner, and Mark, the DJ we requested back in October of last year (10 months before the wedding). We had a great conversation with Jay and we were impressed with his professionalism. Our wedding was Polish/American so we requested DJ Mark who is bilingual. We should've paid attention to the red flags and that Mark was late to the meeting. Jay was really great and very organized so we decided to still give them a chance. We were also impressed by their uplighting selection and upgraded our package. Fast forward to the month of the wedding (August). My fiance and I spend hours preparing songs we wanted the DJ to play. The online system let's you choose around 100 so we carefully chose those. I reached out to Jay to see when Mark would be calling me since in the contract it says that he will call/email to schedule a final call to walk through everything. Mark called me out of the blue Wednesday night before the wedding but I had family in town so I asked if we can schedule a call for a set time the following day. He said he will reach out again but didn't so I called him early afternoon. He wasn't prepared to have a call and said he was running around but not to worry because he had everything under control and my emails and online request form made sense so no need to discuss further. Our wedding day - where to begin. The country club coordinator told me she can't get a hold of Mark and the cocktail hour was wrapping up in 30 minutes. I was trying not to panic but our cocktail hour had to be extended and our dinner service was delayed. Also, the uplighting charge that we paid was a total waste of money. Instead of gold lights, we had GREEN lights. I wish those were the two worst things that happened but they weren't. Mark was very rude to my guests including my parents. I wish we went with someone else and didn't spend hours on our song list.

We hired Jay to DJ our wedding and couldn’t have been happier with his role in the event. After doing a little research and getting some quotes it became clear that Jay was an excellent value and we quickly booked him. He has a large catalog of music and worked with our eclectic taste, so for a few songs he didn’t have, we were able to send them to him. The online planning tools on his site were very comprehensive and made us trust he wouldn’t play songs we didn’t want played. On the wedding day itself Jay was very friendly and easy going and had the perfect amount of interaction for our event. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Jay and the team at Crestline did an amazing job at our wedding! Jay is a total pro and really takes the time to learn about you and your vision for the wedding. We really enjoyed Jay Frank Crestline Dj. He is very professional. We gave him a schedule of the wedding, and he followed it and kept everyone on track. A month before the wedding crestline has you send in hundred songs that you want played at the wedding, they give you a suggested list of 200 most requested songs at weddings. I chose from that list, and people of all ages at my wedding we’re dancing all night. I had people come up to me the day of my wedding and many days after telling me how the music that was played made them want to dance. They also played our ceremony music. The song I wanted to walk down the isle to was a song from a YouTube video, so he converted the song to an MP3 so he could play it. He also did our up lighting which was very beautiful around the room, it set a really warm tone to the room, we chose the whiteish/gold light. He also had an assistant on the day of the wedding helping him throughout the night. We also tipped them.

Finally getting around to writing a review from my wedding in April 2017.. Jay did an awesome job at our wedding! We had a small wedding and he was great about working within our budget. I only made a few song choices and let him choose the rest..such a good idea to let him do his thing! Even with a small crowd he managed to get everyone on their feet at some point throughout the night! He demonstrated dance moves for all of the party favorites and I received endless compliments from my guests! If we ever have another party, he will be the one we call! Think no more and book him fast 😊

Working with Jay, Jared, and all of Crestline was a great experience. From the initial meeting to the day of the wedding, Jay was very attentive and his main concern was making sure it would be the best night possible. He ensured that my husband and I were consulted on everything that could have been questionable to make sure that we were happy and not unpleasantly surprised by anything. Crestline Entertainment and DJ Jay were contracted for our wedding August 20th at the Hotel Baker and can tell you it was one of the best decision we made that made this day the best day of our lives. For me hiring the right DJ for this important life event was critical to the overall flow of the evening. Over the past several years we have been to countless other weddings where the DJs were average to subpar which impacted traffic on the dance floor and the flow of the evening so I was skeptical of hiring/finding the right person for this event. Enter Crestline…….Crestline is a preferred vendor for the Hotel Baker so he had the experience of playing the venue which was a great first step. After initially meeting DJ Jay at a Vendor meeting we scheduled time with him a few weeks later. We met with Jay and he spent more that three hours answering all of my questions, alleviating any concerns, and showing true professionalism. He walked us through his DJing approach and had numerous video footage examples to show us. We contracted him that day. I was cautiously optimist. Being able to promise something and deliver are two different things. Over the next few months Crestline’s music tool is great to help plan out the flow of your wedding and sound tracking that special day. The day of couldn’t of gone more perfectly. From the introduction’s of our Bridal to us DJ Jay started off and I was immediately impressed. He made sure that we stayed on task to meet all of our time tables so we could get people dancing as fast as possible. After our first dance the dance floor opened up at 9:00p.m. and didn’t stop for the rest of the night. Jay did a perfect job mixing up old and new songs, fast and slow. We had people dancing all night from all difference age groups. Jay did a great job balancing songs from our play list and requests from guests in attendance. Jay left us alone the majority of the night so we could focus on our guests and our enjoying our day. I was the one who was going up to him more than he was coming to us and that was to continually what a great job he was doing. The biggest compliment I can pay Crestline is that I can like the DJ or my wife can tell you but we had numerous guests come up and say what a great job he was doing. Our guests where more than impressed with Crestline’s DJ services. Jay THANK YOU for exceeding our expectations and being a major reason our special day was PERFECT. If you are looking for a DJ service for your wedding Crestline Entertainment should be your first and only choice.

Crestline did an amazing job at our wedding. They were so responsive and prepared for our day. I did not have to worry about one thing. They took care of it all! Jeff made our wedding flow perfectly from the music before the ceremony, to the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. We had Jay himself as the DJ and he was excellent from our very first email until just now, when we received a personal card in France congratulating us again. Crestline has a ton of options to choose through and everything we included was exactly as we hoped. The music/dance portion of our wedding was perfectly officiated and we really appreciate the effort you (Jay) made to make us happy and get everyone involved. I can truly say, after hearing reviews about Crestline from other people including the venue themselves, that there is no better service in Chicagoland than them. We had a great time!

Jay Frank and Crestline Entertainment were a dream to work with! Any requests, concerns, questions that we had Jay would address and make his priority. It is not often that you find people who invest all of their time and effort into something that is not theirs and that is exactly what Jay did for my husband and I. He made our wedding celebration unforgettable and truly the happiest day of our lives! I am glad to have him and the team be a part of our day and would do it all over again and again. I have really mixed feelings about my experience with DJ Jeff. On one hand, most things went really well and people were dancing all night long...on the other hand, he completely disregarded our request for no line dances. He also warned me that the lapel mic didn't always work on officiants and I mistakenly thought he would test it out BEFORE the ceremony, only to have to awkwardly switch microphones DURING the ceremony. Our officiant was a trooper and handled it very well, but I feel like this could have been completely avoided. While Crestline was affordable and nothing went truly wrong during our wedding, I wish they had listened to our wishes about the music selection. We didn't have a lot of requests - we had 3 songs we absolutely wanted to be played during the reception and requested that no line dances would be played. I understand that it's his job to make people dance, but I feel like if the bride and groom have a specific request it should take precedence.

DJ Jay was absolutely fantastic to work with. Communication was great and the reception was even better. He kept our dance floor packed all night long. We are still getting compliments on how nice the night was and Jay had a huge role in that. Thank you, Jay!

We had an issue with weather and the band we had scheduled to play outside was going to take over an hour to set up for our now indoor ceremony. Jay with Crestline was already set up and ready to go inside. He worked with the band and was 100% willing to do whatever it took to make sure our ceremony went perfectly. On top of being a huge help in that stressful situation, he had the dance floor at our reception filled the entire night. We have received dozens of compliments from guests about the music. I would recommend this company for any function. They were very helpful with everything from our first meeting through the end of the night. My wife and I could not have been happier with our choice to go with Jay and Crestline.

Crestline did a great job and were very responsive throughout the process, which as any bride knows - huge plus! We worked with Jay for booking/questions and had DJ Dan the day of the wedding. They have a great detailed portal that helps with planning the day as a whole. Dan was great and did everything that we had requested. The only negative we had was that the "slower" songs to start the dancing out went a little long. Dan gave us full warning that he was going to ease into the "party" music, which we agreed to, we just thought it was going to be a few songs less. Will recommend them to anyone we know getting married! Thanks for everything!

We used Crestline for our DJ for our wedding on 10.17.15. Jeff was our DJ and he was fantastic. We filled out the online forum for which songs we wanted and didn't want. This website was very user friendly and easy to navigate. Jeff called the week before the wedding to talk about all the final details and review the information we had entered online. He was very flexible and open to text messages or phone calls for any last minute changes. The day of the wedding he did a great job playing a variety of songs to get everyone on.yhe dance floor. I would highly recommend Creatline and DJ Jeff. We also got out photo booth from Crestline. We loved our attendant, the props, and the book it came with. The attendant was very organized and our book came out great!

I highly recommend Crestline entertainment. I just had a wedding and had Mark as the DJ and he was fantastic. I knew nothing about the process and Mark and Jay were both so helpful and accommodating. They made the process so much less stressful and we're always very timely in responding to emails. You can really tell they care about their clients and they truly enjoy what they do! Jay listened carefully to everything we talked about. He reviewed each step of the day making sure he provided exactly what we wanted. His website for the playlist was very extensive. When we were uncertain, he provided many options to meet what we asked for, so we could easily choose what fit us. During the reception he assessed what our guests would be comfortable with, and had all the various ages dancing throughout. His announcements were low-key but fun, and he was very patient. We received compliments and positive comments from many of our guests who had been at many other weddings over the years, and were very impressed with Jay.

Jay was a top-notch professional. From the initial meeting to make sure he knew what kind of evening we had in mind and his follow through on all of our special requests, the end result was a perfect night for us and all of our guests. I highly recommend Jay for listening to what his clients want and following through to exceed their expectations.

Our wedding was full of energy the whole night. Jay kept the party moving and was able to mix our traditional Greek music with non-Greek music perfectly. Our guests only left the dance floor to throw off their shoes so they could continue to dance!

My limo broke down at pictures, but luckily the owner came down and jumped the limo to get it working. Our little delay made our bridal party thirty minutes late to our introductions, ah! DJ Jeff from Crestline came out and calmed me down and let me know he was taking care of everything. Everything went right on as planned once he took over and everyone had an amazing time. I received so many compliments on how wonderful of a reception it was and how we really know how to throw a party. DJ Jeff and Crestline kept the party going and the crowd on the dance floor. They also gave us a military discount and a discount for paying by check :) A+

Crestline did an amazing job playing the type of music that we wanted but also being aware of what the guests liked. He was very organized and ran the reception with ease. We had so many people on the dance floor that people were dancing around the dance floor! He also helped us out with a last minute sound guy for the ceremony. I highly recommend crestline!

I can’t recommend Crestline Entertainment enough. I can’t believe how many positive comments we got about the music at our wedding! We had a full dance floor until the end of the night. If you are looking for a high quality DJ at a reasonable price then check these guys out. We paid a little extra money to get Jay Frank and it was worth every penny. He is really good at what he does. Everything was really easy to set up and there is an online form to make all of your pre wedding requests. He also was very courteous and he found ways of getting our approval for certain requests without ever being bothersome. I’ve heard so many nightmares of terrible DJ’s and I was really nervous but this guy and his company exceeded all of our expectations!
