es! At the last minute (less than 2 weeks away from the wedding), our officiant decided that he wasn't comfortable flying from California to perform our ceremony. Since we had previously eloped & didn't need the legal portion, we wanted to incorporate a virtual officiant. Jay provided suggestions of what technology to use, guidance on the best way to ensure everything went well, and our quintessential COVID wedding officiant went off without a hitch!

We did not have a wedding day planner either and because of Jay, he kept everything on time and made everything flow so smoothly. We spoke a few days before the wedding to go over what we put on the website, he wanted to make sure the names of our wedding party would be said correctly. He listened to our concerns and made sure that he could find solutions to them. The day of the event he put on such a great show for our guests. Our guests loved the music, and no one complained! uch a great help! Not only was I able to choose the songs I wanted to be played, but could also provide Jay with a timeline (what time cocktail, dinner, cake cutting, speeches, etc. were to happen). This also allowed him to touch base with me a few days before the wedding and go over the timeline to make sure everything was set for the event. He had great interaction with the crowd (and even did the Cha Cha Slide with all of us) and came dressed to impress (we got married at the Lyric Opera of Chicago). I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

He spent nearly an hour on the phone with my husband and I walking through the plan and went over every detail with us, and when the day came, he made sure everything ran smoothly. His music selections the entire night were fantastic and kept everyone dancing. To this day, I am still getting comments from friends and family that they could not stop dancing the entire night. Our reception was at a restaurant in which Jay was allocated a spot in the bar area without specified dance floor for dancing. But let me tell you, 'there was dancing!' and lots of it! Jay transitioned from beautiful background music during the cocktail hour and dinner to 'Let's Party' amazing well. We wanted our day to be a fun day celebrating with friends and family. It was everything we wanted! And Jay played an integral role in delivering this. There were compliments on the DJ galore!

My wife and I opened some wine, turned up the speakers and planned all our wedding music in about 6 hours, by far one of the most fun nights you can possibly have while planning a wedding. Jay then takes your music you picked and goes through it all with great detail and compiles a list of questions and any clarifications he needs. He then sets up a meeting at a coffee bar and goes through everything with you, this gives you so much confidence that the dj services at your wedding will be perfect. He even bought music for us that he didn’t have in his library!! The actually wedding was just perfect, there was not a single moment I found my self thinking the music was going to slow, fast, quit, loud or songs I don’t like. Jay does a great job keeping the crowd having fun! Overall I give Jay my highest recommendation!!

He was teaching us how to do certain dances or just doing the dances along with us. Despite it being an early in the day wedding, he was full of energy. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing he is. They couldn't believe that he would actually get out on the floor with us. I wanted to post photos but doesn't seem like the knot will let me.... Regardless, you will NOT regret hiring Jay.

I never felt awkward or obligated to go along with an idea that he had- we were always able to throw out new ideas without pressure. The conversations were always very honest and he was always a great listener. He was VERY well organized and had a great memory. Everything went exactly how I had asked, so I could not expect more. He also was funny and very interactive with the crowd, evening joining us in the cha cha slide. He was able to accommodate the different tastes of our families, who are from very different backgrounds. I truly was nervous about how that would play out, but it worked out very well. My parents had a lot of their favorite songs played, which I really appreciated. I needed a DJ with experience and the ability to accommodate a diverse crowd, and Jay did not disappoint. He went above and beyond to make our day special and fun :) thanks again!
