About this vendor
Our venue includes the majestic Stone Barn, along with ample outdoor spaces overlooking Mount Greylock and nestled among dairy pastures.
We are a small family-operated dairy farm and farmstead creamery with award-winning fresh and aged cheeses.
When selecting a small local farm for your venue, you are making an impact that supports community food resources and sustainable practices. Part of what makes our venue so unique is that we are a year-round working dairy farm — your guests will have the opportunity to visit with cows and pigs, if they so choose! While this is something that most people are explicitly excited about in hosting their wedding at our farm, we know that it is not for everyone!

We had our wedding at the farm this summer and although it was absolutely beautiful, the logistics were a nightmare. The farm is not a typical wedding venue, therefore they have ma...
ny kinks to work out. They initially told us we could have 150 people in the barn, and so we put down a deposit. The rental company later told us that estimate was without a dance floor, and it would be very tight, so we had to move tables out of the way after dinner, inconveniencing guests. They told us there was little parking on site and we could rent a shuttle for guests and have them park at a nearby high school. So, we booked the shuttle, and then found out that the parking lot was under construction, which you would have thought the farm would check out first. They then found parking at the farm that should have been available initially, and were going to charge $300 for a parking attendant, so we found our own. The day of the event, we had unforeseen rain and our plans changed, and the farm staff claimed they were on site all day, but they were not close by to help us decide how to proceed, therefore we did what we thought was appropriate given that no one was around. They rent out rooms in the farmhouse that shouldn't be used given circumstances I wont discuss here, and this was the subject of most of our issues. They ended up taking money from our security deposit because of something that could have been prevented, had they been there. (they said they were at the farm, but they were not on site of the wedding festivities, otherwise we wouldn't have had this problem, and I could not call them to ask for help while in my wedding dress in the pouring rain, they should have been beside us the whole day). They also took money for something they specifically told us was okay multiple times, and we have texts to prove it. When asking for clarification on these issues, they have been very unprofessional and wont answer our emails. They also don't provide lighting for the parking lot, or trash removal, which is stated in the contract, but I feel should be added given that they're normal tasks that go with hosting events. Again, our wedding was beautiful, but the farm needs some improvements with regards to what they offer for the price they charge.
