Brandon and Adam of Crimson Quarter are, without a doubt, the reason our wedding on April 4, 2026 was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, they created an experience that our ...
guests are still talking about. SO many people told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and I truly believe that’s a testament to their talent and execution.
We had over 200 guests, what felt like a million vendors, and a full weekend of events and moving pieces. Somehow, Brandon and Adam handled it all with complete ease and professionalism. By the time the wedding weekend arrived, I didn’t have to think about anything other than getting down the aisle.
One of the things we were most anxious about was the weather, especially with our second line. Not only did they have a thoughtful plan in place, but they also brought in beautiful vintage umbrellas that looked absolutely phenomenal in photos, even with the perfect weather we got lucky with. Every detail felt intentional and elevated.
Brandon, Adam, and the entire Crimson Quarter team exceeded every expectation with their creativity, organization, and calm, confident presence throughout the entire process.
I truly hope this is my only wedding but if I ever needed to do it again, I would hire Crimson Quarter in a heartbeat. They are simply the best.
!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
Getting married is incredibly expensive and deeply personal. It requires an enormous amount of coordination, time, emotional energy, and trust—especial...
ly when you hire a wedding planner. Unfortunately, this is not the company you want handling any part of that process.
I am writing this review to warn future clients. Based on our experience, Crimson Quarter Weddings & Events caused us unnecessary stress, financial loss, and significant setbacks during what should have been an exciting time.
I fully expect Brandon to respond to this review with a long list of excuses—claiming they are not the problem, that people dislike him because of his relationship (side note: Adam is delightful and an absolute treasure), or that everyone else is wrong. That defensive, deflective energy is exactly what you will experience if you choose to work with them.
We began working with Crimson Quarter in March 2024 for our March 2025 wedding. By November, we were completely fed up and had no choice but to fire them.
Before hiring them, we did our due diligence. At the time, their reviews were glowing, and we were genuinely excited to work with them. We live in Ohio and believed hiring a planner in New Orleans was necessary to make our dream wedding happen. After our first in-person meeting, we left excited and ready to move forward.
That excitement didn’t last long.
This is where the excuses began. We were repeatedly told that planners have no control over when vendors respond—which is true to an extent. However, it became clear that vendors were not responding because they had previously worked with Crimson Quarter and had such negative experiences that they no longer wanted to be involved once they learned who our planners were.
Because of this, securing vendors became nearly impossible.
I personally made two additional trips to New Orleans just to lock down vendors. On multiple occasions, once vendors learned who our planners were, communication stopped entirely. At the time, this seemed strange. After firing Crimson Quarter, we learned much more—and those concerns were confirmed.
Additionally, we discovered instances of constant late-night communication (between 2:00–5:00 AM) with vendors, including chaotic texts and emails—something we personally experienced as well. These communications also involved promotion and discussion of their new venture, LUXXE by Crimson Quarter.
This is only the beginning of the issues we faced.
Due to the cumulative failures, lack of professionalism, and financial impact, we are now pursuing legal action to recover the money we paid them—money we need to pay our new, truly incredible wedding planners. This process has cost us even more time, energy, and money—resources we should be spending together planning our joyful, once-in-a-lifetime day.
Instead, we are left cleaning up a mess that never should have existed.
If you value your time, your money, your sanity, and your wedding day—do not use this company.
Brandon and Adam are amazing. They are hardworking and dedicated to their clients. They were a huge help during my wedding and made it the least stressful as possible.

Into the venue space. I gave them our florals and decorations and set them loose to do what they wanted and they knocked it out of the park. I am so thankful for Crimson Quarter, they helped us navigate rallying all of our vendors and communicating our needs, as well as setting up for us on the day of, coordinating different parts of our reception, and cleaning up after it was over. We couldn't have done it without them and I would hire them again for any event in the future if we happen to find ourselves back in New Orleans for anything special.
Brandon and Adam with Crimson Quarter are MAGNIFICENT. I recommend them 250%!!

t, they only planned on a small, intimate wedding. Well, that changed.
As plans became larger and more complex, I finally realized I could not do it alone. Brandon and Adam swooped in and saved the day, pretty close to the wedding date.
They located and corrected mistakes I had made (saving us ALOT of $$). They worked fast and were able to ensure my daughter and now son-in-law had the wedding of their dreams. I can't even imagine what would have happened if they had not helped us. They were so friendly, thorough, and professional.
THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES, Brandon and Adam! Sammy and Jack can't say enough about how amazing and unforgettable their wedding was. We all LOVE YOU!!!!

be a word I would use in the early weeks of our relationship. Over time, they got to know us better and adapted to our preferences, making communications and planning easier. Their ability to craft --not just a singular day--but multiple events that brilliantly come together in a way that leave guests fully enveloped in a bona fide New Orleans experience. Unique. One-of-a-kind. Memorable. Their commitment to our wedding being a success was obvious from day 1 and we appreciate that we weren't just another pay check.

ny perfectly captured our relationship while his planning expertise kept everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. Professional yet warm, organized yet flexible - he transformed our ideas into reality while deftly managing all the day-of logistics. Working with Brandon felt like having a knowledgeable friend in our corner who genuinely cared about making our day special. Couldn't recommend him more highly for couples seeking both a planner and officiant who can masterfully handle both roles.

ageable and even enjoyable. Sarah took charge from day one, bringing together exceptional vendors within our budget and creating a cohesive vision that perfectly matched our style.
Their organization system kept us on track without ever feeling stressed about deadlines. When our original florist fell through three weeks before the wedding, they quickly secured an even better replacement who matched our original quote. This level of problem-solving and vendor relationships proved invaluable.
Perhaps most impressive was how they handled our wedding day. The setup was flawless, timeline ran smoothly, and they managed family dynamics with grace and professionalism. Our guests kept commenting on how seamless everything felt.
The best part? We were actually able to enjoy our wedding day without worrying about any details. Worth every penny for the peace of mind alone. Highly recommend them for any couple wanting a stress-free planning experience and a beautifully executed wedding.

ed by any of the competition. The level of focus, attention, and effort shown by Crimson Quarter both from a coordination and design perspective cannot be matched. I could not keep count how many of their creative suggestions we took advantage of, and their follow through was phenomenal. We have been told by all of our friends and family that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to. This wouldn’t be possible without Crimson Quarter.

to travel to Biloxi, MS to perform the ceremony. not only was he kind enough to committ on short notice, he personalized the ceremony to my brother and his beautiful bride's unique relationship and circumstances. comments from guests include the service was beautiful and wonderful and that Mr. Brandon was one of the best they had heard with clear speaking voice and easily understood. the bride and groom could not have been any happier of the ceremony and custom script used.

e planning, but I was very nervous about the decorating/flipping the space from ceremony to reception and helping to keep the timeline on track/manage guests, etc. We planned everything out of state, so when we arrived to NOLA - Brandon and Adam were great at greeting us and helping us to run all the last minute errands for the wedding. They were amazing in coordination with our venue so we could get in the day before and do our rehearsal/decorate. They came so prepared with my design instructions and really helped bring my vision to light. When it was wedding day they were so kind in bringing us breakfast and coffee. When we got to the wedding venue itself - it was stunning! They thought of and did everything. I honestly had no stress the day of because they were so on top of everything and even helped us to take time for ourselves and actually sit down and enjoy our food! I'm so glad we went with them and had their friendship to help make what could've been a stressful day so relaxing and magical!

red a Day-Of coordinator that was not part of our wedding. They seemed to understand our vision and priorities and care, but as our date approached, I had concerns. Communication, even within their team of 3 seemed difficult. Contracts and details we sent were not shared among them. My daughter, the bride was being asked, and messaged, at work repeatedly for things we had already sent. In the last month, as both the bride and I were working up until the day we traveled for this destination wedding, we asked them to make contact with some of our vendors. This seemed too big a task. When it didn't happen, I sent emails, on my breaks. I asked Brandon and his team to send me CC copies of his team's attempts to contact the last vendors we needed to talk to, and this never happened.
The day of the wedding came, and most things went well. I asked Brandon to please manage the timeline and flow. He confirmed that he would. This is what we were paying for. I was not only the mother of the bride, but in the wedding party. He said yes, but... even the seating was not handled. We only had 2 reserved seats (and about 50 guests total). He and Adam both knew from rehearsal who they were for. They brought the signs. Yet when guests asked for clarification, my coordinators couldn't even tell my husband if the "whole row was reserved or not" so someone had to pull me from the bridal suite. I had to tell Brandon to tell the DJ to announce for Cocktails, right after our timeline talk (leaving photos). I had to leave dinner to tell the DJ to cut music for toasts, even though the bride told me she had just told Brandon that they were ready. These are things that I don't understand. A timeline is not always perfect, but a coordinator stays close, in contact, and runs the show so we should not have to. I believe that this team had good intentions going into our event, but I did feel let down by these reoccurring moments of failure to coordinate and run the show.
We had a Second Line parade off site. Prior to the event we had a couple of Zoom meetings where we talked about one of them going with us and one staying for the venue flip. I was surprised to see them both at the parade. While Brandon did help facilitate the late pedicab substitute. The lack of coordinator on site for the flip resulted in the sign in "book" which was a custom-made album, and a surprise gift from the bride to the groom being moved and damaged. It felt like they were making sure to get pictures for themselves, but that is my feeling, and what the priority seemed to be; I cannot state it as fact.
In all we were still having a mostly lovely time until... at the end of the evening, we had special permission from our venue for a splash of an exit. The DJ had the Best Man and Man of Honor join in. Adam, believed that we did not have permission for this. He berated and publicly humiliated my son, who personally invested so much time and love into the wedding and told him that he "Ruined his sister's wedding and broke" our "contract" with the venue. When first asked to apologize, his response was, "Whatever!" and he stormed off. He yelled at the Best man as well. I took him aside and told him that if he had a concern, he should talk to me, as it was my contract with the venue, which he had clearly not read, or he would know that we were not in violation of anything. He also needs to understand that he should speak to the host of the event if he has a concern and never verbally assault a family member or guest. To make this all even worse... we had in part selected Brandon and Adam specifically because they are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and we not only want to support that community, but we have family within the community. We had multiple conversations with them about my Transgender son, the Man of Honor, and the use of proper pronouns and being respectful and supportive. They seemed so supportive in our conversations prior to the event. Both the bride and I talked about this with them, yet especially when Adam got upset and lost it and then after, both he and Brandon misgendered my son multiple times. My son did not have top surgery going into this wedding, being worried he would not be fully recovered. As such, he could not bind for the full event and found it more comfortable to switch outfits. We even took time to explain to the team that this would be the case, and that they were still to use "he/him" pronouns and my son, who poured so much love and effort into this wedding for his twin, was publicly humiliated at the end of it, told by Adam that he ruined it and then misgendered by both of them multiple times. He was broken. The bride and groom and others all affected and none of this was needed and was all caused by Adam.
I could have looked over the lack of coordination and efficiency. I believe that there were good intentions from the start with Brandon especially. But to have now, so many people emotionally devasted by chaos and hurt caused by your coordinator does not feel acceptable. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community does not mean that one has the capacity to create a safe space for all members of that community. I believe that this is a teachable moment for them, and I hope they will educate themselves on how misgendering affects those in the transgender community. Do not tell clients you can deliver on that very important safe space if you cannot 100%. It matters too much, and you both have continued to misgender my son since that night showing your ignorance and lack of accountability with this important matter. Please grow in this area first, then read contracts, treat guests with respect and never berate them, and manage the event. We wish you the best in growth going forward.
LGBTQ+ please beware of Adam.
I was the man of honor at my sister’s wedding, and from the start, one of the coordinators, Adam, set a sour tone by ignoring me entirely. The pair,...
a married couple, claims to be LGBTQ-friendly, yet their behavior suggested otherwise.
The night ended with a terrible incident that laid bare Adam’s complete lack of professionalism. The DJ invited the best man and me to jump into the pool to close out the night, unaware that the venue’s pool rules had recently changed. We trusted the DJ’s lead and joined the bride and groom in the water, only to have Adam publicly berate us afterward. Adam accosted us in front of everyone, aggressively spewing that we had “ruined their wedding and their contract.” His outburst was loud, humiliating, and, as the venue staff themselves admitted, totally unnecessary. The irony is that coordinating this should have been his job. For them to lash out over their own oversight felt especially unprofessional and misplaced.
When I later approached Adam privately to explain how out of line his behavior was, he dismissed me with a scoff, glaring as he turned away and muttering “whatever.” Yet he was quick to apologize to my mother, who paid him, and to my cis white husband—while I, a Black trans man and the man of honor, was met with blatant disrespect. His selective respect only highlights how performative and insincere his apologies were. Even after a forced apology, Adam continued to misgender me in group chats, repeatedly calling me “Jojo’s sister.” This was no accident; it was a callous disregard for my identity and role.
Brandon later assured me the issue would be addressed, but I have little faith in any real accountability here. Their marriage and Adam’s behavior make it clear that any consequence would only be for show. This team touts LGBTQ+ friendliness, yet they failed on every level to respect one of their own community members on one of the most important days of our lives.
If you’re considering hiring them for an LGBTQ+ event, be wary. My sister’s wedding was supposed to be a joyful celebration, but their actions left a lasting stain.
We had a wonderful experience with Brandon! He met our special requests and made it so special. Truly grateful for how much effort was put into our ceremony.

, and Mary was nothing short of exceptional.
Their professionalism, timely communication, and accommodating nature made the planning process seamless. They guided us in selecting the perfect venue and connected us with top-notch vendors for decorations, wedding cakes, and hotel coordination. Their deep knowledge of New Orleans was invaluable, especially since we had guests traveling from around the world.
Throughout the planning, we faced several changes, but Crimson Corner was there every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful process feel completely manageable. One of their standout suggestions was the New Orleans second line parade after the ceremony, which turned out to be a massive hit with everyone—an unforgettable experience for us and our guests!
The attention to detail and commitment to making our event perfect were evident in every aspect. Our wedding weekend was a dream come true, and I would absolutely choose Crimson Corner again for any future events. If you’re looking for a wedding planner in New Orleans, I wholeheartedly recommend Crimson Corner!

His expertise covered everything from the venue, food, and decor to the ceremony itself. He even arranged a surprise second line for my husband, adding a magical touch to our special day.
Despite encountering a few bumps along the road due to mother nature, Brandon handled each one with professionalism and grace. His ability to offer amazing prices that fit any budget without compromising on quality is truly commendable. Professional is an understatement when describing his work ethic. After numerous Zoom meetings and countless texts, he proved to be incredibly supportive and attentive.
Upon our arrival in New Orleans, Brandon’s hospitality extended beyond his official duties. He recommended the best places to eat, drink, and hang out, making our stay even more enjoyable. He even arranged transportation for us at times, which was beyond his job description.
Adam, our photographer, captured every precious moment with such creativity and skill. The photos from our vow renewal will be absolutely stunning and will be cherished forever.
In hiring an event coordinator, we gained friends who have become like family. We highly recommend Brandon, Adam, and the entire Crimson Quarter team for all your event needs. Their dedication, professionalism, and personal touch made our celebration unforgettable.

I rented a beautiful mansion in New Orleans. The planning process was easy with our meetings. I was having a pajama party and the house itself was beautiful. It did not need much improvement. It was a two and a half day party with the main dinner and party on Saturday evening. Brandon, Adam and Mary were on the scene the whole time. The main dinner table was absolutely beautiful.
During the event most everything ran smoothly. They even prepared a delicious breakfast for us one of the mornings . It was absolutely delectable.
Hiring Crimson Quarter Weddings and Events was a good decision. They're friendly and real personalities were a blessing. I would hire them again.
