Crisp Catering

My husband and I had to change caterers 5 months before our wedding, and Crisp had the best menu for our budget, which had been based on a chef friend doing the work. We had pork and a vegetarian dish, as well as several sides and an amazing arugula salad, and were totally delighted by the food, even though our only communication with Crisp had been through email and we hadn't tasted the food. Joe is very good about responding to emails and phone calls within a very short time, so if you are having a panic attack about the champagne glasses, what to do with your wine, etc., he keeps you sane. We received compliments on the food and service, and Crisp also provided the linens, dishes, glasses, and flatware, so we did not have to hire a rental company in addition to the caterer. It was a pleasure working with a professional who knows the business, and makes it much easier to plan your first party on the scale of a wedding.

My Husband and I had Crisp Catering referred to us by a friend that works for the California Restaurant Association. We were looking for hearty appetizers stations that would fill our guests up as we didn't want to dedicate a whole evening to eating a sit down dinner. We wanted something fun creative and delicious instead of the same old chicken or fish choice. Joe at Crisp was a pleasure to work with and I am happy to say now a friend! He put together the most amazing set up! Part of my family is from the midwest and part is from California so our guests food taste was varied. Joe suggested a gourmet slider station with a selection of lamb, pulled pork and chicken sliders that the guests and the guests could build their own. My Husband and I love Thai food and he suggested another station be a noodle bar where our guest could "make their own" noodle bar - and then have it cooked in front of them! A combination of stations that were interactive along with passed appetizers made the atmosphere of our reception exactly what we were looking for. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Joe at Crisp Catering! We also were pleasantly surprised that he was flexible with our budget :)
