Cristina was a magician when it came to my wedding dresses! I had alterations done at the bridal store where I got my dress and unfortunately it was a disaster. Cristina was able to save my dress and made it fit perfectly. Not only that, but I brought her two other dresses to alter as well. She made all three of them absolutely perfect for my wedding day. She was so kind and helpful, and also extremely honest about what was possible for the dresses. Cristina also made me a custom veil with lace from my others dress which was incredible. Christina was amazing! My dress needed to be taken out 2 inches and I was incredibly nervous because it had boning and buttons all down the back. But I shouldn't have been because Christina made it seem like it had never been touched! I was in in awe of how quickly she was able to work and how beautiful the dress looked when she was done. It fit like a glove! She also made me a custom veil with beautiful pearls and was able to make me a small headpiece from my moms old dress. She is wonderful and I highly recommend using her for all your bridal needs!

Cristina is an extremely talented seamstress. My wedding gown needed a complete resize and the back of the gown was fully embellished with crystals. After just two fittings, the gown was a perfect fit. Cristina also removed lace from my mother’s 33-year-old wedding gown and added the lace to my veil. The end result was lovely.

Cristina is AMAZING!! She worked her magic on my very sleek and body hugging dress and made it fit to perfection. She even made a last minute change on my last fitting and had it done within minutes of pointing out something I’d like fixed. Cristina was truly my fairy godmother!!! I purchased a dress 2 months before my wedding due to COVID AND military (talk about stressful) and she was able to turn a dress that was 8 sizes too big for me into the dress of my dreams. Not only did she take it in a ton and made it fit perfectly, but she added sleeves for me since I really wanted sleeves and my wedding was in January. I sent her pictures from pinterest and the sleeves she added were exactly like the favorite pictures I sent her. She even made me a mask out of my leftover dress material. I got so many questions about where I got my mask and I also got so many complements on the sleeves before people even knew the dress didn't come with them. On top of my wedding dress, she altered 2 of my bridesmaids dresses in less than a week because they arrived 2 months behind schedule, also a COVID caused nightmare. She came recommended from my bridal salon and I'm very thankful I went with her!

Cristina's work is amazing! I purchased my wedding dress from a boutique in Downtown Raleigh. At the time of purchase it was about three -four sizes too big. The owner of Oak City bridal referred me to Cristina and it was super easy to get scheduled. During my initial visit, we discussed at a high level everything I wanted and Cristina was able to give me accurate pricing, no hidden fees. Her alteration work is phenomenal. By the time she was done with my dress, it fit me like a glove! She even took material from the design that I did not like out, made me a custom veil AND a custom mask made to match my dress exactly. Cristina is AMAZING. She was recommended to me by one of my best friends and she did not disappoint! Not only did Cristina work with my timeline (I unknowingly waited a bit too long to start the alteration process), she was extremely kind, fair with her prices, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. My dress fit SO well after my first fitting and was perfect after my second fitting. I think 4-5 girls from my friend group have all now gotten their dresses altered by Cristina! Highly recommend!

Cristina is absolutely incredible. I was in the process of losing a significant amount of weight throughout the alteration process and Cristina was able to bring my detailed and intricate dress in over 4 sizes. She allowed me to schedule as many appointments as possible so I was sure to feel comfortable and beautiful in my dress. She completely changed the sleeves, the back, the alterations, created a beautiful bustle, added sequins and beads AND created me a stunning custom floor length veil to change into for the reception after wearing a cathedral length train with a removable blusher she made. Cristina was absolutely wonderful! I purchased two wedding dresses from a Church Street Bridal in Virginia and they both were sample gowns. They needed to be tailored and repaired in some areas. Cristina worked so quickly and the dresses fit perfectly. I ended up needing the dresses earlier than originally planned because of Covid and she worked with me and had them done. She was recommended to me by a coworker and I'm so glad she did. Her prices were extremely reasonable and helped me stretch my wedding budget. I absolutely love Cristina. Not only was she very sweet, she is amazing at her job! I brought my gown to her for the normal alterations and bustle for a wedding gown, which she did beautifully! After taking my gown home and having it for a couple weeks my dress started to not feel like MY dress and what was missing were sleeves! I contacted Cristina a couple weeks before my big day to see if adding sleeves were something that were to be possible on my gown. I brought it to her and she did EXACTLY what I really wanted, not to mention she was able to do it in a very timely fashion as well. I love everything about my dress now, and I owe it to her!!

Cristina was quick to respond to my request about altering my dress and she was always mindful of my timelines for portraits and the wedding itself. Cristina was patient, thorough, and detailed and did a fabulous job altering my dress and veil for my wedding. I wanted to use my mom's veil, however, it was from the 80s and needed to be "modernized." Cristina did this for me very affordably and allowed me to have a very precious "something old" (and borrowed!) for my wedding. Alterations were completely stress-free as was scheduling and payment.

I had a tight timeline due to moving and a busy schedule and she worked with me and got everything done so quick! I was pretty happy with all of my vendors, but Cristina was my absolute favorite! From the moment I emailed her and she responded within minutes I knew she was the atelier for me. At our first meeting she welcomed me warmly then got right down to business. She was able to enhance the vision I had for adding custom lace sleeves, making them better than I had imagined. She did an excellent job with my other alterations as well including a stunning bustle (and I don’t even like bustles). I wanted to wear the veil my mother and sister wore, but it was the wrong color. Cristina ensured me this was no problem at all and custom made the exact veil in the correct color. If you need anything for your dress at all you need to work with Cristina.

Christina is incredible! I bought my dress online from BHLDN and because I’m very petite it needed to be hemmed significantly as well as taken in at the hips and bust. I had limited time because we were having a short engagement. I called several recommended local tailors that were already booked. I visited two highly recommended tailors. While both were very nice one was extremely expensive and the other was confused about how to shorten the scalloped hem line. Christina was warm, welcoming, very knowledgeable and her place was very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend her!!!

Cristina is truly a life saver! I purchased my gown from a boutique in Charlotte and they were so busy I was not able to book an appointment for alterations. I messaged Cristina 3 weeks before my bridal portraits which was 5 weeks before my wedding day. She was able to see me the following day to begin my alterations. I had gained weight since I ordered my dress so it needed to be let out, hemmed and bustled. Cristina completed all of the alterations within 2 weeks and she was reasonably priced. I picked up my dress and it fit like a glove. I ended up loosing 10 pounds 2 weeks before the wedding due to stress. I went back to get the dress taken in. From our initial consultation with Cristina all the way up to a few days before the wedding, she was punctual, professional, reliable and is great at her work. Cristina helped me select gorgeous lace that perfectly blended with the rest of the gown, and she made the sleeves in a way that exactly fit the style of the gown.
