Crofter’s Green was the perfect venue for our wedding! The barn is beautiful and so are the grounds on site making for some gorgeous backgrounds for our pictures. We loved that we could stay onsite along with our wedding party in the cottages, glamming pods, and the main house. Being able to stay onsite for the entire weekend made our wedding not just one day but a whole weekend event which is something we were looking for. The fire pit and the hot tub are great additions to use throughout the weekend. The addition of the main house for our wedding day was great. Being about to use that space for hair and make up and to get ready in was a nice touch. Kristin and Daniel are also great to work with. They were very responsive to our questions and always there for us during our planning process. Our wedding at Crofter’s Green was exactly what we wanted and the wedding of our dreams. We highly recommend considering Crofter’s Green for your wedding!

Crofter's Green Wedding Barn is a rustic wedding venue located in Montgomery Center, VT. Located on 25 acres of glorious countryside, guests can admire the stunning mountain views from the estate’s rolling hills. This site is open from May to October, ensuring couples experience the most idyllic conditions possible. The property is maintained by Kristin and Daniel Khan, who were inspired to take over the business after planning their own nuptials. The barn and eclectic cottages on site were a passion project for the previous owner Eamon O’Shea. He decided to construct five themed dwellings for visitors, each based on a place he visited around the world, including Ireland, Japan, and the Caribbean. His idea was that people who came to visit the glorious Jay Peak mountain area would have somewhere comfortable and fun to stay. Kirstin and Daniel are carrying on his work, now hosting engaged couples and their loved ones for a truly memorable wedding experience. This venue boasts a choice of indoor and outdoor event spaces. The barn is set on the grounds, surrounded by green forests and natural landscapes. Inside, high ceilings that can be strung with lights and polished wooden floor evokes a romantic yet rustic atmosphere. This property offers a myriad of activities and facilities for newlyweds-to-be and their guests. Visitors will find an 18-hole disc golf course, along with a swimming hole and outdoor hot tubs. With skiing, hiking and road biking facilities also nearby, visitors will be kept busy. When hiring the barn for nuptials, couples can also avail of the on-site cottages for two nights, providing up to 14 loved ones with accommodation for the celebrations. This team caters to all ceremony types, including religious and non-religious events, and accommodates up to 150 guests. For the ceremony, couples can avail of wedding arches or altars, along with the use of a dancefloor, tables, and chairs for the reception. The team at Crofter's Green Wedding Barn is also able to offer lighting options. Wedding couples and their parties can avail of get-ready room to prepare for the big day. Parking is available on the site, which is also wheelchair accessible. This venue can host wedding showers, ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and private events.

l are so kind, accommodating and down to earth. If you’re searching for a wedding venue, you won’t find other vendors like Kristin and Daniel. They truly want the best for their couples. Our friends and family were obsessed with this venue. Unique opportunity to stay on the site with your friends or family in the adorable little cottages. There’s so much space, with multiple options for a ceremony site. The barn is gorgeous and you can open the doors for a nice indoor/ outdoor flow during cocktail hour. Jay Peak Resort is minutes up the street where all of our other guests stayed and had a great time. Truly a magical spot, can’t wait to visit on our anniversaries !

o set up the wedding with family and friends and it was so wonderful to have the time and opportunity to work together with everyone without any pressure from the venue in terms of requirement or timing. It was such a beautiful wedding, the space is amazing and the area is fantastic. We’re not from northern Vermont, so many of our guests had to travel long distances to come to the wedding. Once everyone arrived and saw Crofter’s Green and the surrounding area, they all told us that they completely understood why we chose the space and how special it was to get to celebrate in it. This was the absolute best venue we could have chosen for our wedding and everyone from our family to our guests was just so excited about the location. We spent the night before the wedding around the fire with our friends and after the reception we had another fire and I got to sit there in my wedding dress just soaking it all in with everyone. Crofter’s Green allows you to have the exact wedding you want, and that was exactly what we were able to do.

gement called us the end of March to say that they weren't sure if they "could guarantee" that they would be open - and that we would have to come up with a "plan B". This all due to the owners being accused misusing millions, no big deal. We scrambled around the Vermont area looking for something unique that would be available. When we contacted Shéady Acres, they wrote the most sincere note to say not only were they available...but they would work with us as we tried to get our refund back. They held our date on our word alone so that we could make arrangements to come and check everything out. Once we got up there – we knew this was it! It has 5 one-of-a-kind cottages that would perfectly house the entire wedding party and then some, a gorgeous barn with big sliding doors, a rustic fire pit area and views of the mountains from their front and back yard. The cost included all these amenities for 3 days! The whole gang was able to trickle in from the Boston area sitting around the fire, soaking in the hot tub, playing music and exploring the little swimming hole nearby. The cabins are cozy, clean, and equipped with anything you might need for an awesome stay. The picturesque property made for incredible wedding photos and during the reception our guests could sit by the fire, hang by the outdoor bar or rip it up the dance floor in the barn. It was perfect in every way. Eamon & Shawna also hooked us up with the most incredible vendors: Montgomery Catering Company who cooked right on site. The food was delicious and the chef/owner Dave and his staff were the kindest people on the planet. We also had flowers done by Olga Lermontov which were out of this world! Overall, it was the BEST decision we made to get involved with this whole Montgomery crew. Look no further! This is the place to be!
