My husband researched a number of calligraphers online; ultimately, we decided upon Mark of Distinction Calligraphy. Pam, the owner and calligrapher, was absolutely wonderful - a JOY to work with! She was the first person to respond, she was pr...ofessional, reliable and organized.
I met Pam at Starbucks and she took me through her portfolio of different design styles and fonts. We settled on something beautiful for our invitation envelopes. Indeed, we received many compliments on the selected style :) Pam did an incredible job. When she was finished with the envelopes (turning around 230 or so in a couple weeks, I think), she met with me again, and went over the way she organized them, based on the lists I gave her. She kept some extra envelopes in case there were any mistakes or additions.
She also did our placecards, which she turned around in a few days - no mistakes! In short, we absolutely recommend Mark of Distinction (owner Pam) for calligraphy. Pam is not only talented and professional, but she truly seems like a wonderful person. Her prices are definitely reasonable (I think we spent under $350 total for placecards and envelopes), considering the excellent quality!
