I loved the view onto the golf course and the wide verandas where guests could dine outside. I also liked that it was not just a big room in a hotel. The rooms were more intimate with mantles and fireplaces. There is also a downstairs that could be rented for overflow guests. The staff was also very accommodating about some special touches we wanted to have at the reception, like having glass Cokes and root beers for the guests.;If you do rent the downstairs, the members of the club are allowed to come in off the golf course and get drinks from the bar during the reception. We were not serving alcohol at the wedding and did not want to deal with our guests getting intoxicated, so this could have been a problem.
