Crown Custom Clothing is a wedding tailoring service based in Royal Oak, MI. This boutique specializes in personalized clothing and tailoring to ensure that you look your very best on your big day. They believe that to mark an occasion as important as this, you deserve to wear an outfit that fits perfectly and that is uniquely your own.
This bespoke tailor’s shop is owned and operated by Mohammed Kalam, who began to learn the craft of clothes making in the 1970s. After studying under master craftsmen in locations such as Kuwait and New York City, he went on to become the Master Tailor at Saks Fifth Avenue in 1995. Following this and a relocation to Michigan with his family, Mohammed decided to apply his knowledge and talent to his own business venture, officially establishing Crown Custom Clothing in 2009. This journey has led him to expand his crafting repertoire to include wedding and event gowns, as well as top coats and tuxedos.
Mohammed and his team work closely alongside their clients, giving them the professional attention required to create the garment of their dreams. They are proficient in working with many different kinds of fabrics. Committed to finery, these artisans delight in creating sleek, timeless event wear for unforgettable occasions. As well as custom garment creation, these tailors can handle clothing alterations if you need a certain piece to fit just right. Choose to stand out at your celebration with the help of these intrepid professionals.
