Crowne Plaza Atlanta - Midtown, an IHG Hotel

The views at this venue are absolutely beautiful, but sadly, our overall experience fell far short of expectations. • Catering: The vegetarian meals we ordered were never provided to our guests. • Facilities: The A/C and outlets were not functioning. Our guests were uncomfortably hot, we couldn’t use the uplighting we paid for, and my hair and makeup team was delayed for hours without working outlets. We had to cover extra costs because of this. Instead of fixing the issue, the venue brought in large industrial fans used for flood drying, which made the bridal suite unpleasant while I was getting ready. • Logistics: The freight elevator was out of service, forcing our design team to use guest elevators. This caused significant delays in setup and pushed back our wedding start time. We had rented a stage that couldn’t even be installed because of the broken elevator. While the venue initially promised a refund, they stopped responding after I submitted the requested invoice. For the cost and promises made, these issues were unacceptable. While the setting is undeniably stunning, poor management, lack of reliability, and failure to follow through overshadowed what should have been the happiest day of our lives. I would strongly caution couples considering this venue.
