Crowne Plaza Chicago-Northbrook

h me through the whole process to choose the menu, chair covers, linens, audio/visual equipment and the cake. It was so great to have a "one stop shop" where I could get my cake and linens through them as well. She went over the floor plans and timelines with me multiple times to make sure everything would flow the way I wanted it to. She was there before the wedding to setup my centerpieces and other decorations to make sure it was perfect like I wanted it! The staff was attentive, organized and thorough throughout the planning process and made everything easy and stress-free for me on the day of the wedding. The two ballrooms where the ceremony and reception were held were beautiful - very updated and elegant, especially the chandeliers. All went according to plan and ran smoothly throughout the evening. The food was delicious! All the guests were raving about the food, which is unusual for a wedding, in my experience. The servers and bartenders were friendly and outgoing. Checking in and out of the hotel was very easy and the rooms were very nice. I loved that the rooms had refrigerators and microwaves, something you don't see too often anymore. I got a comfortable night sleep the night before the wedding. On the night of the wedding we even got a hand-written congratulations note with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! How cute! The hotel made it very easy to coordinate overnight rooms with our guests by providing a link to make a reservation within our block online. Having the venue and hotel as the same location worked out PERFECTLY for our guests, particularly because the weather wasn't too great on our wedding day. Once they checked into their rooms and got ready, they could just walk downstairs and they were there! Nobody had to drive or worry about directions. I couldn't say anything better about the Crowne Plaza Northbrook! The experience was great and I would highly recommend it. The rooms were nice and updated, food was tasty and service was impeccable!
