Crowne Plaza Cleveland At Playhouse Square

We had our wedding reception at the Crowne plaza in December of 2024. As being a bride from out of town Kailee and eventually Meagan were the best to work with. These two made the stress of wedding planning a breeze. My mom was beyond thrilled with the help of Meagan and her reception team when setting up our decorations. Not only did they assist with setting up the decorations but also tore down the decor leading to a stress free night. Kailee made sure that every detail was finalized from the bar signs to the welcome bags. All employees at the crown plaza were professional and treated our guests like family. My husband and I would definitely recommend this hotel to any future couples looking for a great location for their future wedding.

My Husband and I just got married at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We hosted both out Ceremony and reception in the main ballroom and let me tell you if your looking for a place that has it all this is it! Camryn our coordinator was wonderful! She made everything so easy and helped keep so much weight off my shoulders while planning. The staff of the hotel was also fantastic, especially Mr. Alex! Our guests raved about how nice and attentive everyone was. The food was complimented all night and guests also loved being able to go to the third floor patio to see the city view. From beginning to end The Crowne Plaza Playhouse Square was a joy to work with and I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a beautiful, stress free venue! I couldn't thank them all enough <3

Our Wedding Coordinator, Camryn, was amazing from start to finish. She was not our WC when we booked and came on about 6-8 months in, but I am sooooo glad she was our girl! She was attentive, responsive, and so extremely helpful with executing everything I wanted/needed. The food was stellar. You always worry that it won't be as good as it was during the tasting but everyone told me (and is still telling me) that it is some of, if not the, best food they have ever had at a wedding! So, thank you Chef Landon! The whole staff at Crowne made me feel very special and made sure I knew it was my weekend/day. Mark was extremely accommodating to our crazy families. But like I said, Camryn was the glue that kept it all together. I cannot sing her praises enough. Her and the banquet team even set my decorations up exactly how I would have for the reception without me even having to direct anything. It took so much stress off of my plate and the only stress I had to worry about was 3 days straight of socializing. Camryn and Crowne were amazing. Book here and ask for Camryn if it's possible!

We could not have been happier with choosing the Plaza for our wedding reception! I worked with both Natalia and Aubrey. They both were very kind, helpful, and patient with me and my many questions. The reception looked beautiful and went so smoothly. Our parents enjoyed being able to do the tasting with us, while we were selecting the menu. That was a fun experience to share with them and I am grateful the Plaza included them. At the tasting, a server whom I believe's name was Michelle, was very sweet and fun. She actually gave my now husband and I an idea that we ended up including on our reception night. A final private dance with just us in the ballroom. It was a special moment I am grateful to have! Michelle also served during our wedding reception and so many of our guests took note of her name and passed on how much they enjoyed her. Great staff, great service, great accommodations, and gorgeous venue. Thank you Natalia, Aubrey, Michelle, and staff for an amazing evening!

Finding a venue for your wedding is a big decision and one that I did not take lightly. I went back and forth on if I wanted to book at the Crowne Plaza and ultimately decided to do it. Let me tell you... It was a GREAT decision! The food was delicious (they even set aside cocktail hour hors d'oeuvre for us and placed them at our table because they knew we wouldn't get to enjoy them), the space was exactly as I envisioned it, and the staff that works there is LOVELY. Everyone is so, so kind and accommodating. I would email Natalia several times and she would always get back to me with answers. She was always willing to listen to what I wanted and then she made that come true. She went above and beyond to make sure everything looked beautiful and how I wanted it to. Like others said, she is kind and always has a smile on her face. The staff here TRULY want to make your wedding dream and vision come to life, and they are willing to do what they need to to make it happen! Also, half of our wedding guests were out-of-town guests. Natalia updated the room block booking link for me several times and did everything she could to make sure our guests got a room. Our guests have told us multiple times how great our wedding was, and a lot of that is due to how great the staff was. I highly recommend working with them!

The Crowne Plaza is an absolutely beautiful venue and everything that came with it was amazing. We worked with Aubrey to start and then Natalia and they were both wonderful. They helped along the way to make sure everything was what we wanted and got done on time. Everything was amazing - food, drinks, staff, room setup, and accommodations.

My husband and I decided to have our wedding at Crowne Plaza Cleveland on 06/24/23 and it was the best decision! Most of our guests were traveling in so it was very convenient to have the room block for everyone to use. All of the food provided was delicious and the bar service was great. The workers were all so kind and helpful. They even saved us when our party bus for pictures canceled on us the day before the wedding! We were panicking and went to the hotel manager who was able to find us a bus by the end of our rehearsal dinner. We worked with Aubrey and she was the absolute best with taking care of everything! She made it so we did not have to worry about any of the organization, decorating and everything else in between. The room itself was very beautiful and right outside there are a lot of great picture taking spots! Definitely would recommend having your wedding here!

My son and new daughter in law had their wedding at the Crowne Plaza at the Playhouse Square this past December 2022. Aubrey was amazing and while they had alot of their own ideas, when asked for suggestions, Aubrey had the best ideas! Everyone had a great time and we didn't have any issues. Thanks Aubrey for making all their dreams come true!

We loved the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square so much that we had two weddings there! I thought the pandemic would ruin our wedding, but the Crowne Plaza was so accommodating and kind that we had two super great events. Our ceremony was beautiful and perfect. Our reception was so nice and went without a hitch. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza for your event! I really appreciate Daneel's responsiveness, professionalism, and kindness. She and the rest of the team really made our day special. I also think the Crowne Plaza is a great value for such a beautiful venue, great customer service, and great location.

To start off by saying if you’re thinking about the Crowne Plaza for your special day DO IT! It truly was the best day of our lives and we are so happy we decided to celebrate at the Crowne Plaza!! From the start to the end of the wedding process they were spectacular! Natalia is a superwoman! Her communication is quick and very detailed, always willing to chat on the phone or meet in person to verify anything me or my family had questions about, and blew my wedding vision out of the park! She is so kind and always has a smile on her face and willing to help in anyway she can! The staff at crowne plaza is so joyful, fun, and made the night soooo fun!! They even were dancing with us on the dance floor and made us all feel so comfortable ! The food was insanely good and every one talked about it for weeks! Honestly, guests and family have been raving about how amazing and fun our wedding was and I owe that to the Crowne Plaza staff! You were all so generous and kind! Cody and I are so happy we chose the crowne plaza, you all will hold a special place in our hearts! The best day ever !!!

Everything turned out great on our wedding day! Our coordinator Natalia, along with concierge Mr. Alex made us feel welcome, relaxed and prepared. When we arrived, Mr. Alex took all of our belongings to our room and we didn't have to touch a thing! Natalia assisted a lot with the set up and made that part of our weekend stress free. She was available for last minute questions over text and phone call in the hours leading up to the event. At our Wedding, everything went as planned. The ceremony space was set up correctly and everyone knew what to do thanks to Natalia's help at rehearsal the day before. The bartenders were very efficient and friendly. The food was AMAZING (we picked delmonico angus beef, chicken romano, and butternut squash ravioli), as were the servers and the manager Joe. Chef stopped by to make sure the food was good too! It felt like they actually cared about making our day special and by the end of the night, some of the servers were on the dance floor with us. The next day, clean up was pretty quick and departing was nice and easy! The only downside I can think of is that it took a few rounds of back and forth to get all of our numbers correct on our BEO and some lack of attentiveness within email communication in general (throughout the whole process). But all was resolved when we met in person more. I was really impressed at how Natalia and the rest of the staff were able to ease our anxiety by being super helpful in the couple days leading up to the wedding.

The Crowne Plaza was truly the perfect venue for us! We loved that everything was included in the cost per person…alcohol, food, linens, cake, bar service, table decor! It was very convenient to not have to hire outside vendors, and everything was perfect! The chef is amazing, all of our guests raved about how good the food was. The event staff were so kind and helpful the night of our wedding, and our wedding coordinator Aubrey was fantastic to work with! She made everything go smoothly, and even helped me switch my napkin color the day before my wedding! This venue is especially ideal because it’s located in the heart of downtown and is convenient for guests to stay the night…no shuttle or Ubers needed! We had the majority of our guests coming from out of town, so the fact that this is a hotel made travel plans easy for our guests. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

I cannot say enough about the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse square. Daneel, Natalia and their entire event team, and hotel staff were amazing. Everything for our ceremony and reception was absolutely perfect and went off without a hitch. All of our details were executed as we wanted them to be and they looked great. We received so many compliments on our appetizers and dinner, everything was served timely and hot. The chief could not have done a better job. The hotel and event staff went above and beyond for us to make sure everything was taken care of. They even took the time to make us a plate of our cocktail hour apps and our late night bite to enjoy. Although there was some hickups, missing our photo on the marque, some maintenance problems in the rooms, I would recommend using the Crowne plaza for any formal or leisure event.

Reflecting back on when we toured the crowne plaza Cleveland at playhouse square with Daneel, we could not stop thinking about how their hospitality seemed unmatched compared to any other venue. Daneel was great at communicating with us, as well as Natalia who ultimately helped us leading up to our wedding day. I cannot say enough great things about Natalia and how much we appreciated her help. Natalia helped in making sure the days leading up to the wedding and that the day of went smoothly! The staff at the crowne plaza went above and beyond for us- from chef Bernie’s amazing cooking to our lovely bartenders, waitstaff, and front desk employees, they all made our day one to remember. We honestly feel so blessed to have them as a part of the best day of our lives.

The Crowne Plaza staff, events team, Daneel, Nic, and Natalia made our wedding day better than we ever dreamed. It's hard to know where to start because there was so much attention to detail and everyone was genuinely eager to give us the best day possible. The event staff listened with open ears about my biggest desires for my wedding day and accommodated our specific requests. My husband doesn't drink alcohol so they provided non-alcoholic beer at our wedding and we returned to our room to a bottle of sparkling juice. I hate salad dressing, so they made sure all tables had gravy boats for salad dressing (I realize this is a silly small thing, but it was important to me and they listened). They set up all of our decorations beautifully (including Natalia taking on more than she bargained for on a few specific items that looked just perfect for our whole day). Everyone at the hotel greeted us excitedly all day. The front desk was incredibly helpful and communicative as my hair/makeup and breakfast showed up VERY EARLY on wedding morning. They cheered me when I walked out of the elevator for the first time. Multiple staff members asked me regularly throughout the weekend what I needed and did literally everything I asked. It made my experience completely stress free. The food was absolutely incredible and Chef made sure I had enough to eat when he saw I hadn't had much time to sit down. They even accommodated a last-minute request for my husband and I to eat in a separate room to help decrease covid exposure. I never plan on having another wedding, but if I do, it'll be at Crowne Plaza. We felt so welcomed and appreciated and it was great to never have to go looking for staff for help with anything because they were so on top of it. We can't thank you enough for giving us our dream wedding!

Our day was everything we hoped for and more! The Crowne is such a beautiful location both inside the ballroom and the location in the city with that chandelier! Aubrey was amazing to work with, she accommodated all of our requests even the amazing sundae bar that was such a hit! All the guests could not stop talking about how amazing and attentive the staff/servers were and how great the food was (and boy was there a lot of food!), the chef outdid himself! They even had extra entrees of my husbands and mine waiting in our suite for us in case we did not get to eat them with the added bonus of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! Speaking of the suite, it is huge and full of natural light! Perfect space for all the girls getting ready in the morning! They really do take care of everything there for you including set-up and take-down, when coming up on the day and the day of we were stress-free! Thank you for everything! <3

Daneel and her team were absolutely tremendous to work with throughout the entire wedding process. Their genuine enthusiasm, professionalism and courtesy helped create the wedding experience you dream about. We were most impressed with her and her team during the actual event. They made absolutely certain that the evening ran smoothly and that every guest had anything and everything they needed to enjoy the night! This was our 4th child and wedding and we couldn’t be happier with how everything played out.

The location is everything! We absolutely loved seeing the lights of Playhouse Square while dancing the night away. The food was amazing! Major props to the chef. We recommend the chicken with boursin sauce and potatoes dauphine :) The main downfall of this venue is the general manager. The word “no” seemed very prominent in his vocabulary. He made it clear that this was just another event and it wasn’t “that big of a deal.” Luckily, the rest of the staff showed wonderful hospitality, especially the servers. Finally, be cautious of the contract. It definitely has room for interpretation. Overall, our wedding was beautiful and we’re happy we chose the Crowne!

We chose the Crowne Plaza as our wedding venue and we are extremely grateful that we did! The newly renovated ballroom is absolutely beautiful and that is where we held our ceremony and reception. The hotel is clean and very updated, including the rooms! Our bridal suite was AMAZING. Extremely spacious with a bar, two bathrooms and plenty of seating. This is PERFECT for getting ready the morning of...which is exactly what I did! We comfortably fit 13 women in the suite where we all got ready, ate breakfast and lunch! The day went smoothly and our ceremony and reception went so well. Our wedding coordinators, Daneel and Aubrey went above and beyond to make sure the process leading up to the wedding and the day of went perfectly. They definitely exceeded all of our expectations. Aubrey and Daneel answered our thousands of questions,over many months, clearly and promptly. They truly want the day to be everything that you have been dreaming of. The day would not have been as amazing as it was without their expertise and their guidance. They were always so kind and understanding throughout the process and we will be forever grateful to have had them by our side throughout it all! The staff was also so kind and professional throughout our wedding weekend. They really made my husband and I feel so special...from the reception desk to the bartenders and wait staff! We so appreciate you! I would absolutely recommend the Crowne Plaza for your wedding or even your next event! I know that we will be coming back!

We just had our wedding at Crowne Plaza Playhouse Square and we couldn't be happier! The rooms themselves were lovely, clean, and comfy and the service was excellent. Regarding the wedding venue, I couldn't ask for more. My day was perfect thanks to Crowne. Daneel, Olivia and Aubrey made sure everything went smoothly. I hardly had to lift a finger as they had it all handled. The food was phenomenal and everyone commented on it. I couldn't believe how much was included in our package. It was so affordable!

We had such a great experience at the Crowne at Playhouse Square! Daneel and all of the staff members were so helpful and lovely to work with from our first meeting to the day of our wedding. We even changed our ceremony floor plan the week of the wedding and they were so accommodating!

We just had our wedding there this past New Year’s Eve and I cannot rave enough about the entire staff at the hotel and how absolutely amazing all our vendors were and how it all came together and was so beautiful. The 10 days leading up to it were more than less than ideal because of the Covid surge and a lot of last-minute cancellations and people backing out, but I cannot thank Daneel and the entire staff for being so accommodating and making it happen for us and our parents. I don’t wish anyone to be a Covid bride, but this this was everything I could’ve imagined and more for our wedding. Shauna was the sweetest telling me she was going to call me yelling at me if I canceled or postponed, Daneel dealing with probably my 500 emails constantly, from the chef giving my husband a jar of ranch to take home, to the bartenders getting down. We LOVED the entire day!!!

My daughters wedding here was AMAZING! Daneel was so easy to work with and She and the wedding staff, hotel staff made the day so SPECIAL! A day we will never forget. It was beautiful, the food was delicious. Everything looked beautiful and Daneel was there over seeing the whole event. Kudos to all at the Crown Plaza Cleveland Playhouse Square and Thank you! What a wonderful experience! My daughter's wedding was September 5th 2021. Shout out to Daneel McDaniel, Shauna Stone, Chef Bernie, GM Nic, and hotel front desk Crystal and Tomiko. It was an interesting and frustrating time planning a wedding through Covid after one postponement from November of 2020. Daneel & Shauna were patient with me and answered all my questions. We had the ceremony, reception and breakfast the next day at the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square. Food was delicious, friendly staff, service was great, everything was on point. My daughter and son-in-law had a wonderful wedding that they could ever dream of and without your help this could not have become a reality.

Daneel, Shauna, Nic, and the entire staff made us feel so special throughout the whole wedding planning process and up through the event! We were thrilled to have our special day at Crowne Plaza Cleveland and cannot recommend it enough!

My daughter was set to get married in April, 2020, and Covid-19 changed everything. Wedding cancelled. :-( What to do? We were given a full reimbursement by Crowne Plaza to start - which was a relief. But we continued to work with Daneel and her team at the Crowne Plaza to find a new date. Daneel and everyone at the Crowne Plaza were amazing. They worked with us through Covid to plan a new date and we finally had the wedding in July, 2021. The ballroom was fully renovated during Covid and it looked absolutely beautiful (spend a little extra for the "up lighting") for both the ceremony and reception. The cocktail hour was just outside the door so everyone had a cocktail immediately after the ceremony. The food was fantastic, T-Bones and Salmon, and both received great feedback - not common for a wedding. Plus, the location can't be beat if you're looking for a place where you can do everything in one place. We had a lot of out of town guests and they were able to check in and not drive anywhere the entire weekend. All in all we turned a terrible situation into a fantastic day and evening - just a year later. So, highly recommended. Call Daneel. She dis a great job.

I had a great experience working with Daneel and the rest of the team at the Crowne Plaza. They were very responsive and made it easy to communicate and get everything set up for our hotel block during our wedding. Our guests were all very pleased with their rooms and the service at the hotel. Would definitely recommend!

When my daughter and son-in-law were searching for a wedding reception venue, they were very impressed by the Crowne Plaza. Daneel McDaniel, their wedding specialist, was so informative and helpful and continued to advise them through the whole process. Daneel even gave us tips on the best value for certain items. The wedding was this past weekend and the reception was everything they had been promised. The staff is extraordinary and go out of their way to be helpful. Everything was set up beautifully and the space looked lovely. Everyone raved about the delicious food from the cocktail hour to the late night bite and the chef really went above and beyond in perfectly handling a multiple number of guests with food allergies. From the moment we all arrived the day before, the entire staff was so welcoming and accommodating. We appreciated all of their efforts toward a very successful and fun event. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza. Every bride should tour the Palace Ballroom and the huge Bridal Suite.

We used the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio for my parents 60th wedding anniversary reception. Daneel helped us with the planning of the event and Martha and Felix served the reception. I cannot say enough about how beautiful everything was and the food was delicious. The entire family spent the night, such beautiful rooms. The family enjoyed the 3rd floor patio which had beautiful strings of light. We had the opportunity to walk down to E. 4th street and their open air cafes.

Wow! The Crowne Plaza Cleveland At Playhouse Square was the perfect place to host our guests for our wedding this past February. Daneel was so helpful in providing us a fast room block at a wonderful rate, making sure all of our guests were taken care of, and making sure our gifts were given to the guests upon arrival. We loved using this hotel so much that my sister, who is getting married next year, is using this hotel for her room block as well. Thank you to Daneel and the Crowne Plaza team for making this step of our wedding planning so flawless! We can't thank you enough!

We used this hotel for my daughter's wedding. It was a great location had the businesses around it been open. The staff was fantastic and we hosted a brunch the morning after which was also fantastic! The only complaint was that it took our room a couple of hours for it to heat up.

We stumbled upon the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square after having to find a new venue for our September 2020 reception in January - and I am so glad that we did! From day one, Daneel, Gayle and the staff at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square have been nothing but courteous, professional and so helpful. Daneel was always quick to respond to our seemingly never-ending list of questions. On our wedding day, Daneel was very present and checked in us to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The setup of the reception was beautiful - we are still waiting on our professional pictures, but Daneel and her staff took my unorganized list of ideas and signs and organized them so that everything was PERFECT for our reception. Our food was AMAZING (special shout out to chef!!) and all of our guests were raving about ALL of the options (salmon, steak and vegan ravioli). Daneel had champagne and orange juice brought up to the bridal suite while the girls were getting ready (which is MASSIVE and boasts gorgeous views of downtown) as well as a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a gift waiting for us once the night was ending. It is very clear that Daneel takes pride in her profession and I am so glad that her and the entire staff at the Crowne Plaza were able to play such a pivotal role in ensuring that our reception was flawless! All of our guests had so much fun and everyone had glowing reviews of the staff, food and venue. We ended up having our reception at the Crowne Plaza by chance and it truly turned out to be the biggest blessing in disguise. If you're thinking about booking at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square - stop thinking and DO IT! You will not regret it!

My wife and I can not Daneel and the whole team at The Crown Plaza Playhouse Square enough for everything they did for us. We had about 12 different vendors and they hands down were the best to deal with. Their communication was beyond impeccable. Daneel was so easy to work with. We had a great time and all of our guests were very happy with their stay. The presidential suite was amazing and we really appreciated the upgrade. We would not only stay at the Crown Plaza Playhouse Square again, but would recommend it to any of our friends and family. All the other staff was amazing as well. Everyone from the front desk, valet, room service, and housekeeping were so nice and welcoming. I believe it was the general manager that graciously gifted a couple bottles of Prosecco and OJ to the girls the morning of our wedding. That was so kind of him. They really appreciated it!

Working with Daneel was easy and made things organized. She is very friendly and ensures your wedding visions come true! We were so happy with our private rooms for the wedding party to get ready in and that Daneel put our picture outside of the hotel on a billboard. The food was excellent and we were able to make our own specialty cocktail!

If you are looking for an all-in-one, stress-free wedding and/or reception experience, Crowne Plaza is the best choice in downtown Cleveland. Daneel and the dedicated staff at the Crowne Plaza have EVERYTHING covered in a beautiful, renovated venue with a great location. My husband and I are both from the Cleveland area but live in Salt Lake City, Utah. We decided to get married in Ohio because that is where most of our family and many of our friends still live. Our parents visited many venues in and around the city for us when we first got engaged in 2018, but none were the total package for what we were looking for in planning a wedding from across the country. When we visited for Christmas that year, my husband found the Crowne Plaza online, which was a venue neither of our parents had seen before. We were able to visit the next day and immediately knew that it was the place for us. Daneel, the wedding coordinator, was experienced, knowledgeable and very patient. The ballroom was gorgeous and had a beautiful view of Playhouse Square. The bridal suite was outstanding. It included a large living/dining area with its own bathroom attached to a private master suite with its own bathroom including a large vanity, jacuzzi tub, and shower. On our wedding day, we had more than enough room for both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids to all get ready together but still separated, with the guys in the bedroom and the girls in the living and dining area. My maid of honor had an adjoining room to our suite which was more than convenient and was a perfect place to keep my dress hidden from my fiance. Along with the outstanding accommodations, Daneel was wonderful to work with and took care of almost all of the wedding details! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the hotel and the only thing we had to book ourselves was our photographer, entertainment and officiant. Daneel had great recommendations for these vendors and experience working with many of them, too. After booking the Crowne Plaza, there were no "bridezilla" moments or arguments about silly details in any of our planning. This was in large part because Daneel had everything we needed to do organized, taken care of, and planned out in a timeline. I was only back in Ohio for a weekend after booking the Crowne Plaza and it was for my bridal shower. That is when we had our food tasting with the AMAZING chef at the Crowne Plaza and cake tasting at Wild Flour Bakery, (which is included in the Crowne Plaza Wedding Package). When our wedding weekend finally came in December 2019, we had no stress or worries and everything went perfectly. Our party of 130 friends and family had a wonderful time and couldn't say enough good things about their stay and how much they enjoyed our special day.

We had our wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square in 10/2019. The ballroom was spacious and clean, and the hotel rooms were newly renovated. I especially loved that the ballroom has all the windows overlooking the Playhouse Square sign and the chandelier- it was a beautiful view especially at night. It was so convenient for our out of town guests and local guests who chose to stay the night. We were able to have the (huge) Presidential suite the night before the wedding and it was the perfect place for the bridesmaids to get ready in the morning. Aside from the large bedroom and bathroom, there is a separate area with couches and a bar for relaxing and an area for the bride and bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done. And the view was amazing! The ballroom looked absolutely beautiful once it was all set up. Daneel, the Catering Sales Manager, was one of the big reasons we choose to have our wedding at the Crowne Plaza. Right from our initial contact and tour of the venue, she was friendly, helpful, and easy to work with, and I thought she would be the perfect person to work with and make our wedding day so special. And I was right! I was a bit of a procrastinator with all the details and Daneel was especially great with working with me in the few weeks/days leading up to the wedding. Also, the food was really good! We were told by so many people after the wedding how beautiful and elegant the ballroom looked and how great the food was (we especially got lots of compliments with the steak). Also included was a cake from Wild Flour Bakery. They were also very helpful and easy to work with, and the cake was delicious! Overall, I couldn't be happier with how our day turned out. We definitely made the right choice with the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square.

If you are searching for a wedding venue in downtown Cleveland, look no further than the Crowne Plaza Playhouse Square. Daneel did an amazing job with all the details for my daughter and son in laws wedding. I was worried about arrangements because they live out west, but Daneel handled everything with no worries. The day before and the day of the wedding were simply amazing, we were able to enjoy the day without any worries. We had steak and salmon as entrees.....delicious!!! And the view of Playhouse Square is beautiful for pictures. We had guests from out of state that also stayed the weekend for the wedding and enjoyed themselves not only at the wedding, but the entire weekend because of the wonderful staff that works there. Thank you Daneel and the entire staff at Playhouse Square for a beautiful day.

Our wedding at the Crowne Plaza, downtown Cleveland was exceptional!! From the very beginning to the very end, our Catering Sales Manager, Daneel McDaniel went above and beyond to be sure all was exactly as we wanted. The hotel staff, rooms and banquet hall was perfect. Very professional and could not have asked for a more perfect experience.

Daneel is very easy to work with - informative, knowledgeable and helpful. The ballroom was a great size for our 125 person wedding. Other vendors are familiar with the venue so that made things easier. Our guests (especially those from our of town) liked the ease of the venue being inside of the hotel. Food was delicious and the bridal suite was the BEST. :-)

I’ll be honest when I was starting to plan my wedding and look at venues I did not want a ballroom wedding. That was until I saw the Crowne Plaza and met Daneel, their wedding specialist. Unlike most hotel ballrooms this feels very intimate while still giving you a ton of space to work with and having everything and everyone in one place makes it all so easy. Not to mention if you have a morning after brunch the part of the ballroom overlooking the chandelier is a great place to get together and recap the night and catch up with anyone you may have missed. If you’re staying at the hotel the Presidential suite is the perfect place to get your hair and make up done with the girls and it’s an easy ride up the elevators when the day is done. Working with Daneel was so easy, from payment reminders, seating charts, the tasting and everything in between she was on top of it and if for some reason she didn’t know the answer to a question she was always quick to find the answer and get back to me. Speaking of tasting the food for the reception was delicious, we had the steak, chicken and roasted red pepper ravioli. Also the cake and working with Wild Flour Bakery was seamless. Our wedding weekend was just so perfect honestly I’m not sure I would have changed anything about it. Thanks Daneel and team!!

Working with the Crown Plaza was everything I could ask for. They made every detail come to life and helped in every way possible. They were willing to work with me and make my vision come to life. The food was great and the guest could not stop talking about how nice everyone was and how great the service was. I felt fully comfortable giving over control to the Crown Plaza and its team to put together everything day of. Would highly recommend this venue to any other person.

The team at the Crowne Plaza was incredible! From the beginning of the contracting process to the actual weekend, working with their team was perfect. The team was helpful, quick to respond and an overall delight. The rooms were in good shape, there’s a very reasonable breakfast buffet for out of town guest and delicious room service. I would highly suggest considering the Crowne Plaza for your event if you want a nice hotel, great service and an overall great experience.
