Crowne Plaza Hotel Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia

We are so happy we used the Crowne Plaza at Ravinia as a venue and hotel block for our wedding! Julie Bilecky is incredible, and the Crowne Plaza team was very professional and friendly. We looked at a lot of venues, with quite a few giving us the feeling that they were holding back details. The Crowne Plaza was incredibly direct and honest. It was evident that they are pros when it comes to weddings, and had taken all considerations into account. We had several important questions and accommodations because we are multicultural, & because we needed handicap accessibility services. The Crowne Plaza was incredibly accommodating and worked with us to find the best method to suit our needs. If you at all are in need of venues that will prioritize disability services instead of making them an afterthought, I can’t recommend the Crowne Plaza enough for their outstanding job addressing our number one concern. Throughout the process, Julie Bilecky and her team had quick checkups to make sure everyone was on the same page. We had a few light booking issues due to extraneous factors, which the hotel quickly fixed. We were initially worried about the food due to our cultural backgrounds, and Julie immediately set up a meeting with the chef who was super understanding and assured us that we were in good hands. We were! The food was incredible, and our guests were raving about how they hadn’t eaten this good in a long time! They have several cultural menu options and can work with you if guests have dietary restrictions. In terms of the choice of hotel for guests, the Crowne Plaza is beautiful and spacious. The hotel lobby was renovated a few years ago and looks great, boasting glass windows in the back that showcase their garden. The garden is beautiful, with fountains, bridges, and greenery. It’s perfect for taking photos and for guests to relax in. Pretty much all guests I talked to that stayed at the hotel loved the hotel's amenities, location, and interior. It’s close to the Perimeter Marta stop, so it was easy for guests to take the Marta directly from the Airport to close to the hotel. It’s located just OTP and by the Perimeter mall, making traffic easier on the guests who drove and easy in case they needed last minute things. Dunwoody is a safe area, which was a relief for older guests, as well as still being close to the city for young guests who wanted to explore. I definitely recommend the venue for weddings/events with many out-of-towners. The wedding itself went off without any issues day-of from the venue! It was located mainly in the ballroom which is incredibly spacious. We used an airwall to divide the ceremony and reception portions in the ballroom, with plenty of space for our guests to roam about. They also ensured we were the only event that night. The hotel provided a separate ketubah signing room, with the “hub” area for the cocktail hour, storage room for wedding décor, and vendor room to relax. We had a mother with a newborn, and the hotel not only had a mother’s room but offered a room for her to have privacy. In terms of vendor communication: they were a well-oiled machine! They had thorough scheduling and details needed for our vendor team. They were super courteous and had a collaboration mindset to allow them to have everything they needed. Overall, we loved the Crowne Plaza at Ravinia, and can’t recommend the venue enough for weddings! You are in fantastic hands with Julie Bilecky and the hotel team.
