When we booked with the crown plaza we strongly questioned the clause in the contract that stated they could bump you up to six months prior to the event if a bigger function booked at the hotel. Although we were assured this has only happened...
once in 25 years of the ladies tenure, of course it happened to us!! A teen beauty pageant no less. They tried to fit us in a much smaller room (right next to the beauty pageant), but needless to say we went somewhere else.
