Wedding Room Blocks!! Respectful, punctual, and reasonable is how I describe the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We chose this hotel for our room blocks for our wedding guests. We reserved a total of 18 rooms about a year out from our wedding date at a significantly cheaper rate than it was when our wedding finally came around. Akemi welcomed us to a tour at the hotel and explained all of our options. We fell in love with the location which was walking distance to all shops and restaurants. All of our guests loved the view, location, and cleanliness of the hotel! We couldn’t have picked a better hotel in Ventura County to accommodate our out of town guests! JODI IS THE BEST PERSON EVER. Seriously, she will keep everything together, organized and in clear formats. She made it feel like we were the only thing on her to-do list. She was great to communicate with and made the whole weekend incredible. Everyone had the BEST time, and we keep hearing back form our guests about how bad they want to do it all over again. The food was to die for, the Top of the Harbor room was decorated perfectly, Oscar was impossibly nice and helpful on the day of. Even went out of his way to (during the reception) go out and buy ginger ale because they had run out. We had the perfect day all thanks to the hardworking staff at Crown Plaza.

Across the waves from the Channel Islands National Park, Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach combines a peaceful atmosphere with the convenience of an urban setting. The only hotel on the beach, the city of Santa Barbara is also close at hand, situated just 20 minutes away by car. With 235 rooms spread across its 12 floors, it is a handy setting for guests who want to explore the area after your wedding. Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach has more than 14,000 square feet of flexible event space that couples can use for their magical milestone. You can exchange your vows on the nearby beach, where up to 300 guests can be accommodated. Folding chairs, an arch, a microphone, and a speaker are provided by ceremonies held outdoors. After, you can retire to a reception in one of the hotel's three elegant ballrooms. Here, ocean views act as a breathtaking backdrop to your festivities. Capacities for these spaces range from 50-300, with an option to include a dance floor. Sophisticated cocktail hours can be held outdoors on the Lanai patio, which can comfortably fit up to 150 people. The on-site catering manager is excited to work closely with to-be-weds to design a custom menu for their day, reflecting their tastes and the event's atmosphere.

or a stage and band. They also only do the catering and the furniture, they don't provide cake, flowers, decorations, entertainment, ext. I took off a star for Sondra, the wedding director who doesn't answer emails for weeks (!) at a time, super unprofessional when people are dropping a lot of money on this venue for a wedding. Every single email I sent, I had to send several follow ups before getting a response if I ever did get one. She's always out of the office, including days before my wedding date on a Friday. She sent me the official document with details for the wedding days before and left the office, I didn't even sign the document because there were blank spaces in it which I emailed her about, she never followed through with me and the document was never signed. She asked my vendors to send her a million dollar insurance and never followed up with them when they didn't do it. Just a bad way for a buisness to do things all around. Also the venue threw out everything in the room the morning after even though I had actually confirmed with Sondra that I could go back and get things left behind, so make sure you don't leave anything there before leaving for the night I guess. Had issues booking a second night after the wedding, I tried going through some dumb AI bot but didn't realize looking at the rooms on another page would time out the bot before booking it, then later tried calling the hotel where we were redirected to another line because the front desk was busy checking people in, we get there the day of the wedding and nobody knows why both mine and my husbands cards were charged for the same room and nobody at the check in counter could find our room reservation, FIL ended up shelling out like 700$ even though the wedding package had a discounted second day rate of 300$. But you know we had a great wedding here, ocean breeze with the hotel right there, the food was good, the suite was good and its easy to walk around down town and the beach on the next day.
