Location was great, they took care of the setup. If you go with the smaller bayview room, it is REALLY small. We had 20 guests and fitting three 60" round tables left little room f...or a stage and band. They also only do the catering and the furniture, they don't provide cake, flowers, decorations, entertainment, ext. I took off a star for Sondra, the wedding director who doesn't answer emails for weeks (!) at a time, super unprofessional when people are dropping a lot of money on this venue for a wedding. Every single email I sent, I had to send several follow ups before getting a response if I ever did get one. She's always out of the office, including days before my wedding date on a Friday. She sent me the official document with details for the wedding days before and left the office, I didn't even sign the document because there were blank spaces in it which I emailed her about, she never followed through with me and the document was never signed. She asked my vendors to send her a million dollar insurance and never followed up with them when they didn't do it. Just a bad way for a buisness to do things all around. Also the venue threw out everything in the room the morning after even though I had actually confirmed with Sondra that I could go back and get things left behind, so make sure you don't leave anything there before leaving for the night I guess. Had issues booking a second night after the wedding, I tried going through some dumb AI bot but didn't realize looking at the rooms on another page would time out the bot before booking it, then later tried calling the hotel where we were redirected to another line because the front desk was busy checking people in, we get there the day of the wedding and nobody knows why both mine and my husbands cards were charged for the same room and nobody at the check in counter could find our room reservation, FIL ended up shelling out like 700$ even though the wedding package had a discounted second day rate of 300$.
But you know we had a great wedding here, ocean breeze with the hotel right there, the food was good, the suite was good and its easy to walk around down town and the beach on the next day.
