Cruiseport Gloucester

We got married at the Cruiseport this past weekend and our wedding was nothing less than perfect! Our coordinator, Jordan, was extremely helpful and organized. She helped us to plan the wedding of our dreams. The space is gorgeous and was able to accommodate our larger party of around 250 guests. We utilized the Beauport Cruiseline for our cocktail hour and all of the guests loved it! The cocktail hours food was amazing and the bar tenders and staff had everyone with food and drinks in their hand at all times! The ceremony was gorgeous, the space is beautiful and very modern. Jordan was there every step of the way to help answer questions and made sure the night went smoothly. I would recommend this venue for anyone planning their wedding. The staff is amazing & knows how to execute a wedding. Our time spent at Cruiseport was amazing!

Cruiseport Gloucester was a fantastic venue for our wedding. The staff were helpful and proactive throughout the entire process and allowed us to enjoy our big day with our minds at ease. Amy was our lead coordinator and was easy to work with and took care of everything for us. Our ceremony and reception were both on site, including cocktail hour on the cruiseline at sunset which was a guest favorite. Hor d'oeuvres and dinner both were excellent, especially the stuffed Atlantic sole.

My wedding reception was at Cruiseport last month and I would recommend it a million times over! The space is beautiful and they give you so much freedom to make it feel like your own. The food was incredible, plus the wait staff and bar staff were efficient and friendly. Our coordinator, Jordan, was amazing - she gave clear, concise instructions on what she needed from my husband and then brought our ideas to life in a way that we could not have done by ourselves! Jordan was also very communicative and flexible which I really appreciated. They book out far in advance for a reason - the wait is well worth it!

Getting married at the Cruiseport was the best decision we ever made! Our wedding was magical and far surpassed anything we could have dreamed of. Communication with the entire staff was so seamless and easy. Our event coordinator, Amy Ray, is an angel on earth. She was so responsive, kind-hearted, and ensured everything on our big day was perfect. She took all the stress out of wedding planning. The venue itself is gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for all types of decor/aesthetics. We went simple with centerpieces etc to try to save money and you wouldn't even know it. The venue speaks for itself. Plus the food is AMAZING. Our guests still cannot stop talking about it weeks later. We did a buffet and it was so organized and well run, the serving staff was friendly and efficient, and the quality of the dishes was unmatched. You will not regret choosing the Cruiseport!

The Cruiseport and all the staff, from Amy, our amazing coordinator to all of the kitchen and bar staff, was absolutely perfect! They helped make the wedding of our dreams and it all went off without any issues. We had a large wedding with lots of food and people to cater to and the entire staff handled everything so smoothly. The food was 10/10 and the day was perfection.

We cannot say enough good things about the Cruiseport. They helped us plan this wedding from another country and made the entire process seamless and as low stress as possible. The event team and specifically our coordinator, Jordan, were available to answer every question along the way. Our guests cannot stop raving about the sailing cocktail cruise, the venue itself, the food, and more. Best decision we ever made was to have our wedding at the Cruiseport.

First off, aside from being an absolutely beautiful venue, the Cruiseport staff was AMAZING! To say they are on their A-game would be an understatement. The entire staff was so warm and helpful. Everything from the reception set-up, to the small stuff such as having our signature drinks waiting for us as we entered the boat for cocktail hour, made us feel very special. We truly felt like royalty that day. I highly recommend having cocktail hour on the boat, as it was so much fun and the view was incredible. Jordan was our wedding coordinator and she was AMAZING! She is kind, personable and was super patient with the 100 questions I asked during the planning process via phone/email. Additionally, her email responsiveness was so quick, which is greatly appreciated. Also, she provided really great decor ideas that I hadn't even thought of, which I ended up utilizing and were a big hit! The day of the wedding, there were some last minute changes that came up for the reception and Jordan was extremely flexible and accommodating. You will be lucky to have Jordan as your wedding coordinator! Lastly, the food was delicious. I had the fish (because Gloucester) but wow the filet was amazing. If a beautiful, coastal New England wedding is your vision...run, don't walk to the Cruiseport!! 10/10.

We booked the Cruiseport for our wedding and it was an amazing experience! The venue is beautiful with hardwood floors and plenty of windows. There’s a great patio area with fire pits that my guests enjoyed. Their menu is customizable and the food was delicious. Nora was our coordinator and she was very helpful with coordination and made sure that everything went smoothly at the wedding. We could not have asked for a better venue!

Cruiseport Gloucester was the absolute perfect venue! Our wedding coordinator, Jordan, was so helpful through the entirety of the process. In the week leading up and the day before, she was extremely responsive to all our many questions and concerns. She took care of every small detail and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the wedding day. We were able to enjoy the day without worrying about anything at all! The small details such as handing us our signature cocktails as soon as the ceremony finished and getting a plate of the appetizers set aside for us really made a difference. The venue itself was beautiful and truly lived up to our expectations and beyond.

Our wedding at Cruiseport was everything we hoped for and imagined it would be. The venue is absolutely beautiful, with the chandeliers and large window views of the water. It is a great central location in Gloucester, with many nearby hotels and activities for guests. Our coordinator Nora handled all of the planning details, coordinated with our vendors, and kept everything organized for the day. She checked in with us often throughout the night to make sure we were able to fully enjoy the night. The food was also incredible - many guests commented how amazing it was. We would highly recommend!

Cruiseport was the very first venue I looked at, and the last! We booked them right away (before we were even engaged because we loved them so much). Everyone we worked with there was fantastic. All of my vendors were very happy to work with Cruiseport as well calling them a "well-oiled machine," and they truly were. My coordinator, Sarah, was so sweet and kind. She even bustled my wedding dress for me, and I am forever grateful for her!!! Can't recommend the Cruiseport enough, I had the time of my life and would do it all over again with them as my venue team.

We just had our wedding at the Cruiseport in March and had the absolute best night ever! Jordan was so easy to work with and went above and beyond making sure dietary restrictions were accommodated, even getting vegan marshmallows for the s’mores station! The outdoor space was perfect for getting some fresh air even though it was cold out. We planned our wedding entirely long distance and it was such a relief to walk in and see everything exactly how we pictured. Our wedding day was completely stress free and an amazing memory we will have forever!

Beautiful venue! I am so happy I found Cruiseport Gloucester. It was a very elegant place to get married and have a reception, and we’re very flexible with my vendors which was very important to me. Reasonable pricing and great employees. I worked with Amy as my coordinator and she was outstanding! She helped make my wedding process so easy and comfortable.

Cruiseport Gloucester was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Our coordinator, Amy, did everything possible to make the planning smooth and stress-free. She really went above and beyond to make our day perfect, answering every little question (even the ones that were probably dumb!) and making sure we had a great plan for our day. The venue itself is so beautiful and the food is amazing. I am still having guests comment (months later!) on how it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Not to mention how much more affordable Cruiseport was than most other places we looked at on the North Shore -- and without skimping on any of the "luxury" stuff. It felt like everything we could want was already included in the price and handled so easily. Have your wedding at Cruiseport Gloucester - you will not regret it!

Can’t recommend the Cruiseport enough! We got married 8/19/23. Our coordinator Amy was fantastic! She brought our wedding vision to life and made it better than we could have ever imagined. Amy was super helpful and always quick to get back to any questions we had. She also took the time to meet with our group in person and was so patient in making sure every detail was perfect. I did not have to worry about a thing, Amy took care of everything! I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked when I walked down the aisle for our ceremony and at our reception. The venue itself is gorgeous and all of the food was delicious. All of our guests are still raving! We also loved staying at the Beauport Hotel, the bridal suite was beautiful! I was so impressed with everything from start to finish and felt well taken care of throughout the process! I would absolutely recommend the Cruiseport for your wedding!

We got married at Cruiseport in July 2023. Our coordinator was Amy Ray. We loved our experience with Cruiseport! From the moment we toured, we felt it was the right fit for us. We were right on the water and the venue was modern, bright, and had a happy feeling. Amy was excellent to work with and made everything extremely easy from the initial planning days all the way through to our last dance on our wedding night. We loved the easy to access deck that our guests utilized throughout the night. The venue space was extremely flexible. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at Cruiseport and each space felt separate and unique, while making it easy for our guests to arrive and be stationed in one spot. We organized our rehearsal dinner with Cruiseport, too, which allowed us to have our rehearsal aboard Beauport Cruiselines that allowed for the most gorgeous sunset cruise of Gloucester Harbor. The food for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding was to die for and extremely *beyond* accommodating for dietary restrictions, especially gluten free needs. Something we really loved about Cruiseport was that after our ceremony they had an entire cocktail hour spread for the wedding party and cocktails/drinks ready to go for us. They also had drinks poured and passed around throughout the cocktail hour for our guests. We received a lot of feedback that the h’ourdervous were plentiful and delicious and the bar was quick and efficient. We loved Cruiseport and highly recommend it! Amy did everything and created a stress-free day that felt seamless by all. Thank you, Cruiseport!

We got married 6/23/23 at Cruiseport and they made our wedding dreams come true! Amy, our wedding coordinator was always prompt getting back to us and answering our questions. They were very accomodating and really try and make all your wedding visions come true. After our wedding we got so many so many compliments and we would not have been able to get it done without the amazing team at Cruiseport. I would recommend this venue and Amy for any couple/person planning an event!

We got married at Cruiseport on 10/07/23 and the whole day was simply perfect! The venue is so gorgeous and in an ideal location in Gloucester. Our family and friends have raved about the food, drinks and service from all of the staff. Danielle was our coordinator and she was INCREDIBLE! She made our wedding day vision truly come to life and the day went flawlessly all thanks to her. She exceeded our expectations in every way and we feel so lucky to have worked with her. Book Cruiseport for your wedding! They were so easy to work with and someone is always available to answer your questions! My coordinator was Amy. As someone who is extremely detail oriented I was really nervous to pass everything off and trust that Amy would bring my vision to life. She exceeded my expectations! She saw my vision, heard what I wanted and even elevated what we had in mind. Guests have not stopped talking about how amazing the service, food and drinks were. We had our wedding on 9/1/23 at the Cruiseport and everything was perfect. We had 210 guests and everyone raved about the food, music, service, and the location. We were able to have a cigar station outside during the reception, and it was packed all night. Danielle was amazing to work with. From the moment she was assigned to us, we had constant communication. She answered all my small silly questions, and talked me through all of my stressful moments. She heard us when we told her what was important to us and made sure that our day was perfect. I wouldn't have changed anything about our wedding day, and we owe all of that to Danielle. Not only was our day perfect, thanks to her, she also remembered to call in our late night pizza! 100% would do it all over again with Cruiseport, as long as we could have Danielle again!

If I could rate the Cruiseport 100 stars I would! We had the most fabulous August 2023 wedding. Truly a fairy tale of a day. Our coordinator Kristen was AMAZING! She’s so funny, approachable, creative, and is willing to go the extra mile to make you feel so special! The food was fantastic. We did the boat cruise for cocktail hour and HIGHLY recommend! We have had so many people tell us it was the nicest wedding they’ve ever been to. Beautiful room that you can do any color scheme you want. The Cruiseport is such a special place to us! Highly recommend!

Kristen was great to work with, and was super helpful about answering all of our planning questions. On the day of the wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly. All of our guests loved the Cruiseport, and the venue photographed beautifully.

We loved the Cruiseport it was exactly what we were looking for! The venue itself is gorgeous and it includes so much that most venues don’t. The food is also delicious absolutely everything. If you choose the Cruiseport make sure you get Kristen as your day of coordinator she was AMAZING!!! When we first met her personality is what drew me. As we started working with her she went above and beyond my expectations. Her willingness to provide advice whenever asked, answer any questions we had and provide us accommodations for meetings as we were coming from out of the state is something I could never say thank you enough for!

We knew Cruiseport Gloucester was our dream venue the second we walked in. The ballroom is absolutely stunning! Pricing was reasonable, and they allow you to bring your own desserts, which can definitely save some money when wedding planning! We got married on June 17th, a very rainy day. We were bummed that we could not enjoy the deck as much as we would like, but they had just added new furniture and fire pits out there. We got so many compliments from our guests on how good the food was (baked haddock, Tuscan chicken, and butternut squash ravioli). The staff was very responsive as well. They assign your coordinator around 6 months before the wedding. We were so lucky to have Danielle as our coordinator. She was so organized and helped us plan out our entire reception! She listened carefully to what we wanted and gave us some suggestions as well. She took all of our décor and made our vision come to life! We were in awe when we stepped into the ballroom all decorated! I have to say Danielle and the staff made it even better than what we envisioned. The reception process was smooth from beginning to end. I can't thank Danielle and the Cruiseport enough for making our day so special.

The Cruiseport was absolutely amazing! Aside from it being an absolutely gorgeous venue, the team was incredible to work with. We left every meeting so happy and relaxed. Sara did a great job understanding exactly what we were looking for and did a great job running everything smoothly the day of the wedding. They truly made our wedding stress free and the happiest day of our lives. The food was incredible too!

The Cruiseport is absolutely the BEST venue ever!!!! We just got married in September, we are so thankful for the most perfect day. Thank you to the Cruiseport team, and our wedding coordinator Amy! The Cruiseport Gloucester is the most picture perfect wedding venue! Words alone can’t describe the beauty it has to hold. The huge open ballroom, surrounding glass windows, high ceilings and romantic fireplaces will take your breath away. The staff are impeccable! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The food is DELICIOUS! We got so many compliments on how incredible the food was, saying it was the best wedding food ever! And it was! There are so many ways to make this venue fit into your wedding aesthetic and have a simply breathtaking wedding. Most importantly, our coordinator Kristen B was the BEST out there!! Seriously I couldn’t have done this without her! From early on I was able to secure Kristen as our day of coordinator, but let me tell you she was WAY more than just day of! Kristen met with me numerous times in the months leading up to my wedding to talk over details, vendors and simply help plan our perfect day. She was responsive to my millions of emails and always had the answer! Her knowledge, professionalism and personal touch helped make the wedding of my dreams come true! We recommend Kristen and the Cruiseport a million times over!! If you’re looking for a whole weekend of fun and celebrating with family and friends, we highly suggest utilizing the Beauport Hotel for your accommodations and the Beauport Cruiselines for rehearsal dinner!

Our wedding day at Cruiseport was wonderful. The venue is beautiful. Many guests told us how great the food and drinks were. Amy was absolutely amazing! We had some issues when working with Kristen around booking our wedding, but thankfully we were assigned Amy as our event coordinator and she did a great job. She was very responsive and always so available and truly helped make our day so special!

Nothing but good things to say about Kristen & the entire team over at Cruiseport! We got married on October 9th & I was taken back when I walked into the hall after our offsite ceremony. Kristen did a fantastic job making my vision a reality, the servers were attentive & accommodating & the bar tenders were quick & energetic. Thank you for all for everything!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! Not only is it spacious with beautiful large windows and high ceilings, the food was absolutely phenomenal. We had multiple people tell us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Theres a separate area downstairs for cocktail hour which adds to the experience. The deck with the fire pit outside added a great touch for our fall wedding. Amy was our coordinator and she was fabulous! Very easy going and helpful! She was super responsive and gracefully handled a few hiccups we had day of regarding our transportation. Can't recommend this place enough!!!

We have nothing but great things to say about cruiseport! The space is beautiful and comes with everything you need. The food was phenomenal and they were very accommodating. Our event coordinator Kristen was so great. She helped make everything day of run so smoothly and was such a pleasure to work with. There really are no hidden fees or surprise charges which is great. We would recommend cruiseport to anyone!

If I had to do our wedding over 100 times I would pick Cruiseport every time. Through the venue search we found that many places had hidden fees or felt pressured into booking right away. We never felt that way with Cruiseport. They are very reasonably priced and their packages come with so much. The ballroom itself is gorgeous and can be decorated to fit any vision. My favorite part was working with Kristen B. She is THE BEST!! She made us feel so comfortable through the whole process, answered my millions of emails, and made sure everything was perfect. I forgot my wedding cake the morning of and she was about to go to a bakery to get one for me. People like Kristen are so hard to find especially to work with. I am beyond thankful for her and the staff at Cruiseport. You truly made our wedding day perfect. It wouldn't have been possible without you!!!! xoxo Kelly & Chris

The Cruiseport was the BEST wedding venue we could have ever imagined. Not only is the space already breathtaking without any setup, it comes to life when everything is decorated. The food and service was purely exquisite and every single person was so accommodating. Even our other vendors commented on how great the venue and staff were. Our venue coordinator Kelsea was so on top of everything, helping to plan my big day. She was communicative throughout the entire process and helped bring my vision to life. Everything was so beautiful. When we got back to our hotel Kelsea had left a little treat from us congratulating us on our special day. I am so so so incredibly happy having chosen Cruiseport.!

I don't typically write reviews, but I feel that I have to for Cruiseport because our experience was so exceptional. Sheridan, our day-of coordinator, was so calm and responsive and helpful. When I gave her our somewhat random collection of decorations, I was stunned to see how nice she made everything look when we arrived. All my guests raved about the apps and the meals and the late night snacks. People kept telling us they had never been to a venue quite like this one - on the water, great open spaces, wonderful lighting. We had such a positive experience at Cruiseport, and we would absolutely recommend this venue!! Thank you so much, Sheridan and Cruiseport!

We just had our wedding this past weekend and it couldn’t have been a better time. From the staff to the vendors to the venue, it was all incredible. Kelsea, who was our coordinator couldn’t have been a bigger help; she was essential to the whole night going as planned. Would absolutely recommend this for anyone getting married.

We had an amazing wedding at the Cruiseport! We toured the venue in 2020, booked our original date for 2021, and postponed to 2022. Over those two years, Kristen & the Cruiseport team were upfront and easy to work with. One of the things I love most about this venue is that they truly want to make the process easy for their couples. There are no hidden fees, sneaky contract language, etc. The planning process was flexible and easy, and Kristen and her team were happy to give decor suggestions or look into any ideas I had. Our wedding day couldn't have been better, and a lot of that is due to the Cruiseport. They truly brought my vision to life. Everything that I had been planning in my head looked even better in person. The staff was professional and so nice. Everyone was raving about how amazing the venue and staff were. Kristen was a pro with some last minute changes and made sure everything was just right. If you're thinking about booking this venue, do it!

My husband and I just had our wedding at the cruiseport in January and it was BEYOND amazing. When I was looking at venues, I actually was really hesitant to book this venue because I knew it was a popular location for people that have grown up on the Northshore. I am so glad I didn't listen to that thought and went and looked at it. From our initial visit with Kristen at the crusieport we immediately fell in love with the space. It holds well over 200 people, is absolutely stunning and having the Beauport hotel in such close proximity was an extra bonus. It was very clear to me after seeing this venue why it was such a popular place for people to get married at. The price was also very fair and competitive allowing us to put more of our budget into some killer vendors. The food was delicious, came out timely and was hot as it was served! The venue and staff just hit EVERY mark I gave them (which was alot). I didn't have to worry about timing, or anything running behind because they were such a well oiled professional machine! If I could go back and do my wedding all over again, I honestly wouldn't change one thing about it. It was just beyond perfect. We were also so lucky to have an amazing wedding coordinator provided from the Cruiseport and I really couldn't imagine my day without Kristen's help! She has a great eye for style, understood my vision right away and helped me make it happen. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. We just had the best weekend of our lives and it was thanks to you and all your team's hard work! I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't have one small complaint. The bar has to close after 4.5 hours. Which does fly by. I do wish they had a longer liquor license. BUT I can tell you that we extended our wedding an extra hour because we loved our band and no one was missing the bar once it closed. We made sure to tell people to go get their last drinks and put them at their table before it closed. I wouldn't get too hung up on this point just one area I wish they would improve on. 10/10 Recommend! Thank you all for making our day beyond perfect!

I am writing this review 3 days after having the most AMAZING wedding at Cruiseport. It was truly a dream come true. First of all, the venue is STUNNING. The open window with water views, the chandeliers, the white walls - it is absolutely beautiful. It honestly requires very little decorating or effort to elevate because the minute you walk in the door you are in awe over the gorgeous views. Second, the food was incredible. We have had so many guests rave about how delicious all the food was, a few even telling us it was the best wedding food they ever had. The staff also did such a great job serving it in a timely fashion and tending to guests. The bar service was great. We never saw a line at the bar. Corey, (bartender) helped us craft our signature drinks and they were delicious. Kristen was our day of coordinator and she was great to work with. She is so incredibly nice, professional, understanding, and has so much experience in the wedding world. We asked her advice on certain things and just went with whatever she said because she really knows what she is doing. The day of the wedding she did an amazing job executing our vision and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. We seriously even had guests come up to us and tell us how great she is. If there were any issues that day, we never saw or heard anything about them because Kristen was on top of it! We also think highly of this venue because they were extremely accommodating and easy to work with when we had to reschedule due to covid. We have heard so many horror stories, but luckily, Cruiseport went above and beyond to help their couples during this awful time. We are obsessed with Cruiseport, the staff, and the experience we had. We would 10/10 recommend it and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

The food and the venue itself was stunning.. we had an amazing night and it was perfect!!! why is this a 4 star and not a 5? well... the hotel, the beauport owns this venue. here is where the issues came up: they don't really have a bridal suite. so you have to book a suite for 2 nights and one for your partner so they can get ready too. if you have a bridal party of more than 5 bridesmaids, I would secure another location for getting ready- it was fine, but if i had 1 or 2 more bridesmaids it really would have been a squeeze. room service takes forever- and i do feel a lot of their logistical issues had to due with short staffing (covid). The rooms- it was a bit of a mess. and again, this might have been due to covid and no staff, then hiring new staff.. who knows but we had to call them 3x to make sure our room was booked correctly. i was advised my room was secured but then when we called a few months later - there wasn't anything booked. it was a bit weird. when we did your tasting other couples were having the same issue. the hotel itself is the best place in gloucester and i will still go stay there, food is incredible. so we were advised that due to us booking our wedding with the beauport group we got a complementary breakfast for our guests the next day. well... that was not the case and thank god we called the day before to get details. we were advised that because our wedding wasn't directly at the hotel, we didn't get that.... change your nickel and dime policies beauport. that was not in good taste after spending near $30,000 with you... seriously. one of the groomsmen brought in a bottle of wine or beer? something. and was advised by the staff at the door that he was not allowed to bring it in stating it was a law... no such thing I'm aware of and i brought plenty of champagne to my room. My husband was FURIOUS and actually spoke to the manager there about how ridiculous this was. so overall.. it was really great. The management however.. maybe needs to implement some feedback and make some logistical changes to how they operate. and for gods sake, provide space for wedding party to get ready!!! i was just incredibly surprised to hear they had no such thing when many other venues and hotels DID provide.. great experience overall (most of the staff is really nice) and would still recommend.

We just had our wedding at the Cruiseport and it ended up being the perfect venue. Everyone was so accommodating, easy to reach and quick to respond. The inside was beautiful and had more than enough space for all our guests, and the outside deck was a great space to get some fresh air. Taryne was a huge help preparing for our wedding and we never would've made it through our big day without her.

Cruiseport was a dream to get married in. All of our guests commented on how beautiful it was and how good the food was. If you get the chance to work with Kristen, DO IT! She is amazing and super talented. Kristen could not have been more accommodating and helpful to us (especially with having to postpone for Covid), we loved every moment with her and she really went above and beyond for us as did the rest of the Cruiseport staff.

Cruiseport is such an elegant classy venue, beautifully situated on the ocean. The staff is amazing and have been very understanding/accommodating during pandemic wedding planning. Catering vendor working with Cruiseport, Vinwood Catering, is excellent! All of my guests raved about the food and how beautiful Cruiseport is. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, experienced, and professional. I would highly recommend Cruiseport to anyone!

This venue is the best of the best. From the staff, to the food, to the location and the overall ambiance of the venue, you can't go wrong. Amy was an incredible coordinator. She exceeded our expectations and made our wedding dreams come true. We also can't say enough about the food. The apps and dinner was absolutely divine. We highly recommend this location for your wedding!!!
