Cruiseport Gloucester combines exquisite design, a picturesque locality, and a superb level of service. This venue's experienced Event Management team will work with you to create the special celebration that you have envisioned. The fully-furnished ballroom features elegant hardwood floors, gold Chiavari chairs, floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers, and a vaulted ceiling. A classic lighthouse foyer completes these remarkable surroundings. You and your wedding guests can dine and dance in style throughout your important festivities.
Cruiseport Gloucester hosts indoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. The ballroom has a minimum capacity of 100 guests and a maximum capacity of 320 guests. The venue rental includes a five-hour event, professional event management, a private full-service kitchen, complimentary bartenders, and an overnight newlywed suite at their sister property, Beauport Hotel Gloucester. An additional on-site ceremony fee adds extra time to exchange your vows and for setup and breakdown. Bar service packages include a one-hour open bar and a four-and-a-half-hour deluxe open bar with house wine dinner service and a signature cocktail. The comfort and convenience of all guests are important, so this venue includes wheelchair-accessible features and complimentary valet parking. My husband and I could not be happier with our decision to work with the Cruiseport Team for our Wedding Day. Each and every member of the staff was truly such a pleasure to work with from our very first visit all the way through our day. The staff are clearly trained, they know how to pay attention to the details, and they offer such hospitality to your family and friends.
As we led up to our wedding day, we were thrilled to work with Alyson D. on the team. Alyson gave us a sense of calm and composure throughout the entire process. She anticipated our needs and truly understood what was most important to us. Her experience was evident; she welcomed our unique ideas, and she gave recommendations along the way that genuinely helped to deliver a seamless day from start to finish. Alyson and the Cruiseport Team are a class act, who deliver on their word and provide such value with their approach to the wedding process.
We cannot recommend Cruiseport enough, with a number of options in the North Shore area, nothing seems to compare when you consider their entire package and what Cruiseport has to offer!

The entire team at Cruiseport is exceptional, and we especially want to give a huge shoutout to our coordinator, Miriam. She was organized, communicative, and supportive throughout the entire planning process. I so appreciated her quick replies and flexibility with the many venue visits we had leading up to the wedding — she always made everything feel easy and accommodated. Knowing she was coordinating gave us complete confidence going into the day.
The venue itself is stunning. The waterfront views are beautiful, and the two-level layout is such a unique and fun feature — we loved having cocktail hour on the first floor and then welcoming guests upstairs for the reception. The ballroom felt spacious yet intimate, and with 130 guests plus additional furniture and décor pieces, everything fit perfectly and comfortably.
The food and beverage experience was phenomenal. We had originally not loved the salmon option as it was more of a summer vibe, and Miriam actually had the chef create a completely new salmon dish for us that fit our winter wedding. Our signature drinks were also exactly what we envisioned and delicious, and the overall alcohol selection at the bar is truly top tier. That level of customization and quality meant so much.
If I had to describe Cruiseport in one word, it would be flexible. We had a decorator bringing in extensive furniture and décor pieces, and the venue team was incredibly accommodating with every detail. Since there was no event that morning, they even allowed our decorator to begin setup very early, which made the entire day feel relaxed and seamless. The staff throughout the event were also incredibly attentive and kind to both us and our guests.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran so smoothly and was orchestrated perfectly behind the scenes. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish and were able to truly be present and enjoy every moment.
We have nothing but amazing things to say about Cruiseport Gloucester and their team. We would choose this venue again in a heartbeat.

y organized, attentive, and reassuring. I was able to contact her through phone or email and her responses were prompt. Miriam went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, from vendor coordination and timelines, to last-minute changes the week of. We met with her in person twice before the wedding day to go over all of the little details - things I wouldn’t have even thought of, but she did! She guided us through a rehearsal for the ceremony and coordinated with the bridal parties the day of.
On our wedding day, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment because we knew she had everything under control. She was always in the background but never in the way. There was a few times my wife looked around the room, in need of something, and all of a sudden she appeared! It really showed how much she cared about making our day flow perfectly. The set up of the venue was exactly what we had talked about and she really made my vision come to life. One thing we especially appreciated was their flexibility with accepting payments ahead of time. It made budgeting so much easier and took a lot of pressure off during planning. Every interaction: from meetings to drop-offs, pickups, and all the little questions in between, was handled with care. Choosing Cruiseport was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
Staying at the Beauport Hotel was the perfect complement to our experience. The staff was so kind and welcoming to both us and our guests. Their attention to detail and smooth coordination made everything feel effortless. The free guest transportation all weekend was an added bonus that we and our guests truly appreciated.

She took all the stress out of wedding planning. The venue itself is gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for all types of decor/aesthetics. We went simple with centerpieces etc to try to save money and you wouldn't even know it. The venue speaks for itself. Plus the food is AMAZING. Our guests still cannot stop talking about it weeks later. oceanside venue (and looks amazing in pictures) without having to be too worried about weather given the indoor function room. The room layout was great for our 180 guests and band with plenty of room for dancing. The outdoor deck and firepits also offer the perfect spot for anyone who wants to take a break from the dancefloor. We took advantage of the cruising cocktail hour and it was such a hit with our guests. I also can't tell you how many people commented on how delicious the food was (we did the beef tenderloin, baked haddock and ravioli). Lastly having the option to get ready at and for our guests to stay at the affiliated Beauport hotel was such a treat as the resort is stunning.
To top off everything I said above I will be forever indebted to our AMAZING coordinator Nora. She was so response and knowledgeable, calmed my fears over a potential thunderstorm forecasted, helped us execute a variety of switches and switch backs due to weather all to make the day flawless. At one point Nora even whipped out a hot glue gun to help fix my dress after the bustle broke. She went above and beyond and we will be forever grateful!

The day of the wedding, there were some last minute changes that came up for the reception and Jordan was extremely flexible and accommodating. You will be lucky to have Jordan as your wedding coordinator! Lastly, the food was delicious. I had the fish (because Gloucester) but wow the filet was amazing. were accommodated, even getting vegan marshmallows for the s’mores station! The outdoor space was perfect for getting some fresh air even though it was cold out. We planned our wedding entirely long distance and it was such a relief to walk in and see everything exactly how we pictured. Our wedding day was completely stress free and an amazing memory we will have forever!

took the time to explain the process to us as we felt overwhelmed first getting started with wedding planning. Nora was so helpful during the months leading up to the wedding. We had numerous questions and Nora was always there to support and put us at ease. So responsive, professional, and truly a wonderful person. The day of our wedding could not have gone smoother. The decor was styled even better than how we imagined! Nora and the Cruiseport staff went above and beyond to arrange items exactly how we envisioned. The waitstaff and bar tenders were so attentive, professional, and wonderful. The next day our decor items were packed up and organized for us which made everything so easy and we felt so taken care of. Cruiseport Gloucester is the place for your wedding! Not only a beautiful location inside and out, the staff will make your day stress-free so you can enjoy your special. These guys are pros!

ly went above and beyond to make our day perfect, answering every little question (even the ones that were probably dumb!) and making sure we had a great plan for our day. The venue itself is so beautiful and the food is amazing. I am still having guests comment (months later!) on how it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Not to mention how much more affordable Cruiseport was than most other places we looked at on the North Shore -- and without skimping on any of the "luxury" stuff. It felt like everything we could want was already included in the price and handled so easily.

Whether it was our "bubbles and brews" wall or making our signature drinks with special ingredients, there was nothing that they couldn't do. The venue is beautiful and our guests had the best time. imagined. Amy was super helpful and always quick to get back to any questions we had. She also took the time to meet with our group in person and was so patient in making sure every detail was perfect. I did not have to worry about a thing, Amy took care of everything! I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked when I walked down the aisle for our ceremony and at our reception.
The venue itself is gorgeous and all of the food was delicious. All of our guests are still raving! We also loved staying at the Beauport Hotel, the bridal suite was beautiful! I was so impressed with everything from start to finish and felt well taken care of throughout the process! I would absolutely recommend the Cruiseport for your wedding!

were right on the water and the venue was modern, bright, and had a happy feeling. Amy was excellent to work with and made everything extremely easy from the initial planning days all the way through to our last dance on our wedding night. We loved the easy to access deck that our guests utilized throughout the night. The venue space was extremely flexible. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at Cruiseport and each space felt separate and unique, while making it easy for our guests to arrive and be stationed in one spot. We organized our rehearsal dinner with Cruiseport, too, which allowed us to have our rehearsal aboard Beauport Cruiselines that allowed for the most gorgeous sunset cruise of Gloucester Harbor. The food for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding was to die for and extremely *beyond* accommodating for dietary restrictions, especially gluten free needs. Something we really loved about Cruiseport was that after our ceremony they had an entire cocktail hour spread for the wedding party and cocktails/drinks ready to go for us. They also had drinks poured and passed around throughout the cocktail hour for our guests. We received a lot of feedback that the h’ourdervous were plentiful and delicious and the bar was quick and efficient. We loved Cruiseport and highly recommend it! Amy did everything and created a stress-free day that felt seamless by all. Thank you, Cruiseport!

ktail hour was. I was nervous about funneling over 200 people onto the boat but it went so smoothly!
We wanted all-inclusive and Cruiseport delivered! They had so much staff to keep the day running smoothly, had the tables set with champagne (and shirley temples for the kids), and delivered on everything!
Danielle set up all of our decorations and made the space feel like "ours", even without specific directions on what to do with things.
Overall, cannot recommend it enough!
