He was super easy to communicate with, went above and beyond helping us finish setting up, and brought such an amazing vibe to the whole day. DJ Sky did the mixing for our wedding and was absolutely outstanding!!! We had guests ranging from ages 2 to 82 — from conservative to wild and rowdy and he had every single person dancing! He perfectly balanced the music, blending songs that appealed to every age group and mixing in clean or more upbeat tracks depending on who was on the dance floor. I’ve been to many weddings, and not to brag, but our DJ was the best we’ve ever seen! You can really tell this isn't just a job to him; he was dancing, singing, and totally setting the vibes to such a special day! We’re still getting compliments from guests about the music and the energy of the DJ. The lighting and music created the perfect atmosphere far beyond what we could have hoped for. 12/10 stars — book DJ Sky!!!

DJ Sky from Crush Events was totally invested for our wedding reception party. He understood the assignment and aced it from the music played to MCing in both English and Korean. He did some actual homework beforehand with some language help from his mom and the practice paid off (shoutout to both of them for helping my father-in-law feel more included in all the activities by speaking Korean). He and his assistant both did an amazing job running the games that we wanted to include (traditional Korean games and the Shoe Game), helping with a special event for my husband, and keeping the energy going, all with a great sense of humor. I honestly would not be surprised if he did improv because he was very good at responding quickly to sudden changes/situations. Not only did he help us put together and adjust our tracks for 2 main dances on short notice, we changed rooms just a few days before our event and he made adjustments to the lighting layout accordingly, even surprising us with light sticks and more. If you want a DJ who will join you on the dance floor, DJ Sky's your guy!

If you are getting married in the California SLO area, hire Crush Events! They were amazing from beginning to end in the planning of our wedding. Our DJ was Jacob, and I can not recommend him enough. He was exceptional at our wedding and we received many complements from our guest about how awesome he was. Levi and the Crush Events team were so great to work with!! They were easy to communicate with, flexible, and professional! The prices were also very reasonable! DJ Sky did a great job at our wedding, he was very professional and quick to get back to me when I had questions. He worked seamlessly with the saxophone player I hired and DJ Sky made the event so fun, smooth, and stress free for us! Levi was the best DJ we could have ever asked for! He was the best MC throughout the night and our guests really loved him! He was great at keeping everything on our timeline with leading guests to dinner, speeches, first dances and everything!  He was a great communicator and was really passionate about being apart of our day! He was super organized leading up to our wedding and during the day of the wedding everything went perfectly.  We truly wouldn’t have had such a special day without him. He handled our wedding party song requests like a champ and truly kept the vibe strong until the very last song. Our friends and family told us it was one of the best receptions they’ve been to because our DJ was so great!  Our guests were obsessed with the photo booth we added on and we loved seeing everyone’s photos the day after.  You definitely need to book Levi and Crush events for your wedding! 

I would highly recommend DJ Swift as a wedding DJ. He kept the party going and seamlessly incorporated all our favorite songs!! So many of our friends and family told us what a great job the DJ did.

DJ Sky was phenomenal! As a close friend of the bride and groom, I can honestly say DJ Sky was one of the absolute highlights of their wedding day. He showed up an hour early and immediately got to work, checking every detail and making sure the vibe was just right. What stood out most to me was how genuinely he cared—not just about the music, but about the couple having the best experience possible. Throughout the night, he checked in with them to make sure they were soaking it all in and actually enjoying their moment. It felt less like working with a vendor and more like having another friend there who was fully invested in making the day perfect. DJ Sky went above and beyond in every way, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for more than just a DJ—he brings heart, energy, and a whole lot of love to the celebration.

Jacob from Crush was awesome! We gave him a playlist for inspo and he totally ran with it and nailed it. He kept the energy high all night and the dance floor was packed the entire night. The photo booth with print-outs was a huge hit; there was literally a line for it all night! Plus, Jacob took care of the uplighting and it was on point, really setting the vibe. We got so many compliments on how much fun everyone had on the dance floor and we have Jacob to thank for that. If you’re looking for a DJ, we 100% recommend Jacob. He knows how to keep the party going and you definitely won’t regret it!

DJ Swift (Chris) was one of my favorite vendors to work with. Not only is he an incredibly talented DJ, but he was quick to respond, easygoing, and just genuinely kind. He helped me brainstorm ceremony music ideas and even created custom versions of songs I loved. His positive energy made the whole process so smooth and fun. I can’t recommend him enough!

DJ Hypest (Max) was our DJ and he did a fantastic job! The audio and lighting were great and many of our guests commented that the music was amazing. Having a lively dancefloor was one of our top priorities for our wedding and DJ Hypest absolutely delivered!

We worked with DJ Jacob and their photo booth with printing and it was awesome! Jacob took care of mics for the ceremony and played a great mix for pre-ceremony and dinner. The dance floor was packed from the first dances on and the music was a hit with all ages! The photo booth was sleek and easy to use and popular with guests! Super easy to book and work with the team.

Max was so easy & fun to work with! Music was such an important part of our wedding for both me and my partner and Max really did keep the mood up and the dancing going. We have received so many compliments on how easy he was to work with and how kind he was to everyone! He was professional the entire time while still making sure that everyone was having a great time. Everything ran so smoothly and it was 100% because of Max! Crush Events and DJ Hypest were easily one of the best decisions that we made for our entire wedding!

Levi is a phenomenal DJ and was a saving grace to our wedding during a power outage! After being referred by our amazing coordinator (Kristiana’s Coordinations), Levi was an immediate standout and we booked him immediately. Levi was already booked for Saturday, the day before our wedding on Sunday, but he still offered to do our wedding even though it would be back to back! He was so communicative during the process and responded to every email we sent within a day! Fast forward to the wedding, LEVI was a SAVING GRACE!!! Not only was he able to execute on a very long 6 page document of music notes, timestamps, and 6 playlists we sent over, he was a great MC, very friendly and personable, keeping our crowd happy and the flow of our wedding going the whole evening. He was in constant contact with my coordinator, and when other parts of our wedding were running behind schedule, he was able to adjust my playlists and timelines to keep things flowing smoothly. But Levi really showed up when the power suddenly shut off at our venue! With a full hour remaining and no power at our venue (no music, lights, bathroom access, anything), we were worried our wedding was already over before I could even do the bouquet toss. But Levi came prepared and saved the day! HE SAVED THE NIGHT SINGLE HANDEDLY!!! Improvising with a backup battery operated speaker and a bunch of his own party lights, and re-building our playlist from scratch since the Wi-Fi connection was lost, Levi had our dance floor back up and running within minutes. While everything else at our wedding came to a halt, the dance floor kept going with more energy than ever, and all 100 guests came out to join the dance floor and had the time of their lives for that last hour! What could have been a disaster ended up being a highlight for so many people as they told us they had a blast dancing under the night sky with the stars shining above them, and that it was such a unique experience. Levi, thank you so much for saving us and being so professional and prepared! You’re the best, and everyone should pick you and CRUSH for their DJ services!

DJ Max was literally the best! When I first booked with crush events we went with Max because he was available on our wedding weekend. We were told by Levi that Max was newer to the team and a young guy but also an impressive DJ. We honestly just needed a DJ so we signed the contract and said this will be fine. I connected with Max over the phone about two weeks before our wedding date and I was blown away by his professionalism and kindness. All of my vendors were amazing but Max was so calm, kind, encouraging and truly put my mind at ease. He never once came to me with a problem which was a breath of fresh air at this stage of the planning process. He asked me if I wanted a specific list of songs or if I wanted him to just read the vibe and do his thing. I gave him a list of 10 must haves and then said he can do his thing from there. He totally nailed it and completely exceeded all of our expectations. He got everyone on the dance floor, he kept everyone on the dance floor and he had us all having the time of our lives. We had multiple guests coming up to us asking where/how we found our DJ since he was just crushing it. It was so much fun, nothing but good vibes and definitely the highlight. Max, you are the best! DJ Dave from Crush Events was outstanding. So personable and accommodating. During our walk through he even had a suggestion that made me rethink the whole dance floor. I’m so grateful to him for that. He also was very intuitive and could read the vibe of our wedding and followed suit.

I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our special day. From the initial kickoff call to the last dance, Chris was exactly what we were looking for. Not only was he calm, professional, and transparent, but he was also a legitimate DJ. There was no just pressing play on a Spotify playlist. He did an OUTSTANDING job at actually mixing and keeping the flow going. I'm very picky about music, and he had no problem accommodating my must-play, don't-play, and special requests. I don't think we made any outlandish requests, but the ones we did make, he handled exceptionally. He always made it feel like our questions or suggestions were welcome. Locking in the contract was a very easy process. He was upfront about everything and was super communicative. I can't stress enough how easy it was to trust that Chris would do a fantastic job and how comforting it was to know we were in good hands. I highly recommend hiring him for your special day.

Crushed Our Wedding! Best Day Ever I recently hired Crush Events for our wedding, and I have to say, DJ Levi absolutely crushed it! From start to finish, Levi kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. His song selections were on point, seamlessly mixing genres to cater to all the guests. The lighting and sound quality were top-notch, making the entire experience unforgettable. Believe me when I say that the DJ can be a make it or break it decision for your wedding/event and we are so so glad we went with DJ Swift. My biggest fear when picking a wedding DJ was avoiding that school dance/cheesy MC vibe but DJ Swift literally transported us to a popular nightclub with his fire transitions and on-point mixing. Our guests were on the dance floor ALL night (literally you couldn’t get them away not even to line up at the open bar) and even our other vendors were dancing on the dance floor! People still comment about how good our DJ was and how fun this made the entire evening. He also did our uplighting, which created the perfect ambiance and our cold sparks which were a huge hit with our guests. I know there are a lot of DJs in the area, but if you want your reception to feel like a true party, DJ Swift is the way to go. In summary: easy to work with, reasonably priced, amazing quality of service.

DJ Swift of Crush Events was the best and easiest decision we made for our wedding day. Chris took the time to meet with us multiple times in person and on the phone to go over our vision for the reception. He is very knowledgeable about music and DJ'ing and provided MC services throughout our wedding. DJ Jacob was AMAZING! Jacob was the only one available for our wedding date when we booked with Crush Events, and we were a little nervous since he was the newest DJ on the team and the DJ can really make or break the night, but thank god we went ahead and booked him because he seriously couldn't have done a better job. I told Jacob to do his thing and feel out the crowd out when it came to the reception music since I wasn't 100% sure what the vibe would be with our guests, and he killed it. He had a good crowd of people on the dance floor the entire night; even my husband, who is not a dancer, was out there dancing. I don't think my dad left the dance floor once, haha! Jacob was excellent and stayed an extra 45 minutes for me since everyone didn't want the party didn't want to stop. He played our closing song, but people started chanting for one more song when it finished. So many people told me how good our DJ was; I even had one guest get a business card from Jacob at the end of the night because he loved him so much! He was such a memorable part of my wedding, and I can't thank him enough! Crush Events made the whole process so easy for my husband and I. They were fantastic in communicating with us and answering any questions we had. Such a smooth and easy vendor to work with, which really helped relieve and not add to the wedding stress!

Levi was the BEST DJ for our May 2024 wedding! He helped us execute a unique first dance in which my husband revealed he learned to play the saxophone and I sang a duet with a friend. He kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night. He created the perfect playlist of songs for every part of the day. After the wedding, our friends and family could not stop talking about how fun the reception was because of the DJ, and how guests that usually never dance at events were in the dance floor boogieing! He did a terrific job with our ceremony, even recorded it for me, and gave us a surprise copy after the wedding! Music during cocktail hour, dinner and dance was right on point. From the moment I first met with Jacob, I had confidence that he would be reliable, and he was. I would book him again in a heartbeat for any event.

When planning our wedding our music was one of the most important parts. Chris from The Beatfreakz was so great to work with and made us feel confident that he would make sure our day was great. You know your DJ is good when 1) many, many guests come up to you complimenting your DJ, and 2) they have multiple generations on the dance floor all night without playing the basic wedding songs that you hear at most weddings. Levi brought the energy to our wedding. We appreciated his positivity leading up to the wedding and, of course, at the wedding. We unfortunately had issues with our venue and their noise regulations and he faced the challenges with grace and confidence. I'm SO happy we booked Levi for our wedding. We love you, Levi!

DJ LeviJ was AMAZING! He definitely got the vibe right with what we wanted and all of our guests were dancing and singing along the whole night. He also played the guitar during cocktail hour and everyone loved it. He did a great job. We also did the Photo Booth and we had 275 photos the very next morning to look through! He provided uplights and it looked amazing! We loved having him and we got so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed his energy and his talent! I will definitely book with Crush Events again!
