This an outstanding example of American art and culture, even some geology sprinkled in. The grounds are equally phenomenal.

rdens. For an cool down during your stroll of the arboretum you must visit the Turrell’s Skyspace, The Way of Color, as well.
I recommend you get there early, it will take all day. There is a restaurant and coffee spot inside.
You can park off of A street off of Central st., and its a short walk down to The Compton Gardens which leads to the museum.
I cant wait to go back.

This is a wonderful museum. They have a very wide range of art and it’s curated very nicely. There’s outdoor art to see as well, crystals to admire and trails all around. The grounds are beautifully kept. The Frank Loyd Wright House is really n...

This is a beautiful must see if you go to NWA. The campus is gorgeous in well maintain. The artwork is delicately placed in very flowing Exhibition from one area to the next. There is considerable breadth of artistry provided There is someth...
ing for most ages. The kiddo is ten and she really enjoyed it. We spent about two hours, Should have come earlier so that we could tour the grounds as well. You can park up next to the building or park and an adjacent parking lot.And there's a shuttle. All of the staff were friendly. The attendees in the museum were informative and complimentary. The gift shop is well stocked, but a little pricey as you would expect. There is quite a bit of walking, So be prepared for that. The Vast majority of the artwork is not behind glass, Very European in that approach. So if you have very young kiddos , you do have to be careful. Not sure how often the artist change , but I would go again as i'm sure I would experience something new even if they hadn't changed the artwork. BTW, There is no cost to enter.

This was a last minute addition to our road trip, and we're so glad we stopped. The Walton family has created a beautiful experience for all to visit as this museum is FREE! Parking could be better, but the walk is fun with lots of sculptur...
es too enjoy. Or shuttle service is readily available for those who don't want to walk.
Once inside the museum we were blown away by the art work and the building itself. I was amazed at the quality of food at the restaurant, much better than typical museum food. I would actually choose to come for the restaurant itself.
You won't regret a stop here!
