Oh, & I love coffee.
So, if you’re looking to spend some time with a gal who is a little bit hippy, who will lift you up, remind you how awesome you are & has a decade’s worth of experience in photography - I just may be the one for you!

Working with Crystal was fantastic and a true highlight of our wedding experience. From our engagement session to the wedding day, Crystal brought so much professionalism, creativ...
ity, and genuine care to every moment.
Our engagement shoot felt effortless— she captured stunning photos that truly reflected our personalities and relationship. On the wedding day, she was calm, focused, and always in the right place at the right time. Her work feels more like works of art. Highly recommend her to any couple who wants thoughtful, authentic photography that tells a story beautifully.
We are absolutely in love with our wedding photos! Crystal has been great to work with—so accommodating, flexible, and kind throughout the entire process. She made us feel complete...
ly comfortable in front of the camera and captured so many precious moments. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer, and we’re so grateful to have these beautiful memories to look back on. We highly recommend Crystal to anyone looking for a talented and thoughtful photographer! We will definitely be using her for all of our future photo needs❤️
There are not enough words to describe how AMAZING Crystal is as a photographer! Hands down captured the best and most breath taking photos I have ever seen! She was wonderful to w...
ork with from day one and made us feel so comfortable! We loved her work from the moment we found her website! She has an artistic eye and captures pictures that most photographers wouldn’t take. She listened to our “must haves” and then made them 1 million times better than we could have ever dreamed. She is so professional and spends extra time getting to know you as a couple! Our phone calls and coffee meetings leading up to the wedding solidified to me how dedicated she is to making a bride and groom’s day extra special. I would recommend Crystal to every single one of my friends and cannot stop showing off our wedding album to friends and family!! We were beyond lucky to share our big day with her!! I’ve even already told her she has to capture our family photos when we have kids because I cannot imagine finding a better photographer for our life events!
Looking back almost a year ago as I was picking our photographer I did not want just anyone. In fact I wanted someone that no one in our area would be familiar with. I had made the...
list of all lists, comparing and contrasting every last detail from Des Moines to Chicago to Bloomington. I will say picking a photographer was one of the hardest decisions during my wedding planning experience. After all, these were going to be our forever photos of what turned out to be the most perfect day. I finally narrowed it down. Crystal’s creativity and ability to capture that “perfect moment” stood out to us most. Crystal is so carefree and literally is up for anything which is why her pictures are so unique. Plus, we needed someone to put up with my husbands shenanigans! Crystal met every expectation and then some which is why we can’t thank her enough. She captured not only our engagement pictures but our wedding day as well. We are absolutely in love with our photo gallery. & she has the quickest turn around time which is wonderful! So if you haven’t booked a wedding photographer you should go check her out, ASAP. We HIGHLY recommend her.
Crystal is truly amazing at what she does. She made my wedding day stress free, she is so relaxed I love it. I haven’t gotten all of my pictures back yet but my sneak peek blew us ...
away! Everyone I know is talking about my pictures!
She also did my senior pictures way back, and our engagement session. Of course they were all perfect so I already knew the wedding was going to be as well.
Thank you so very much Crystal!
I am forever grateful to have these to look back on.
Our photos were absolutely amazing! Crystal captured exactly what we wanted, especially candids and photos of us just being us:) She knows how to use awesome natural lighting to ma...
ke everything look good and is super good at dramatic sunset photos! Loved her!
Crystal is nothing short of amazing! I had found her by basically googling wedding photographers in my area a few months after we had gotten engaged. I had booked her about a year ...
and a half in advance because my fiancé and I both loved her portfolio. Her style and eye for details and the fact that she wasn’t like every other photographer we had looked at was very refreshing. We talked via email quite a bit. For our engagement session we literally walked all around downtown Cedar Rapids to get a good variety of pictures/poses and she captured who my husband and I are in photos. Day of wedding she made bridal party & family photos flow extremely well with the itinerary we had created. She was totally on board with using a photo of my late father in a lot of the formal family portraits which I absolutely love. About an hour into our reception she pulled my husband and I outside to do an unplanned sunset shoot which have turned out to be some of my favorite photos. Her turnaround for getting pictures edited and out to us was so quick and she kept us updated every step of the way with where she was at with things. I’m so looking forward to working with her more when it comes to future family photos!
I did a LOT of research and had contact with 50 or more photographers. Crystal was one I had contacted early on. Her work was the best I had seen by far but I wasnt sure we could f...
it her into the budget. So I continued looking and getting the run around from others - not getting emails back until two weeks later, already booked, family issues, etc. So I contacted her again and she replied within a half hour - that right there was my biggest selling point. I didnt want to have to stress about contacting my photographer and I could tell she was going to make working with her very easy! Our engagement pictures were awesome and just when I thought she couldn't impress me anymore, she did. I lost my dad about 3 years ago and had come to terms with the fact that I wouldn't get that experience of him walking me down the aisle. So I walked by myself. My mom had contacted her, without my knowledge, to see if she could edit in a picture of my dad walking me down the aisle. The picture she edited for me is beautiful and more than I could've ever asked from a photographer. Words cannot express how grateful I am that I found Crystal Broussard to photograph my wedding. She speaks such kind and generous words and you can tell she puts her whole heart into her work. Check out her page and her work and shoot her an email. I promise that you will not be disappointed. ♥
