Maybe you were missing the sound of the piano part? This arrangement did have an introduction, and including the introduction made the song end exactly as you got to the altar. That’s something we always try to achieve for our brides. The “communication” part of your review dumbfounds me! I count a trail of 26 emails between you and me. I exchanged email with your wedding planner, as did your violinist. I exchanged multiple emails and texts with your violinist. Your planner emailed the final cues to the violinist the night before the wedding, and the violinist was on site thirty minutes before the prelude to get any last-minute additions or changes. I gave your violinist all prelude music, ceremony songs, and cues well in advance. Five days before the wedding she messaged me that she had watched the videos, listened to the songs, and was putting bowings in the parts. She knew the music. When you go through a music service to book musicians, you do not work directly with the musicians. I think that’s where the misunderstanding lies. The ceremony details, purchase of music, etc. are handled by the music service (in this case me) and conveyed to the musicians clearly and in advance. To my knowledge, all of those details were conveyed and carried out correctly. The musician(s) do not reach out to you individually unless that’s something you specifically request. You did, and the violinist responded. I’m not sure how we could have made this experience better for you without adding more musicians, but I am sorry the solo violin performance was not what you envisioned.
