Crystal helped us with all of them: Thursday night's welcome dinner; Friday's rehearsal lunch; the wedding and reception; and lastly, Sunday's goodbye brunch. Crystal helped us solidify our vendors - florals, linen selections, music, food, stationery - just ALL of the details that made each event feel personal and special. Crystal made appointments when we were shopping for our daughter's wedding gown. Crystal's team put the save the dates in the mail and later assembled and mailed the wedding invitations. Crystal joined us for each vendor appointment through the planning journey. Her suggestions regarding locations for our welcome dinner and goodbye brunch worked perfectly (and were cost-efficient!). Speaking of, Crystal kept up with our budget and ensured we were aware of each cost, which was extremely helpful. Her team put our guest gift boxes together and delivered them to the hotels. We felt complete trust in her ability and experience. And rightly so - during the weekend, we KNEW that Crystal and her team were there for us. They had everything under control, including the guest seating chart and table cards. Having her in charge allowed us to enjoy being with our guests and family, and not miss a single special moment of that unforgettable weekend. And the weekend was not some cookie-cutter formula that feels like everyone else's wedding. We were able to have fun moments that our daughter and son-in-law wanted along with some surprises that my husband and I also planned with Crystal. We had such a wonderful time. Crystal is organized and professional. She is timely. She is kind. AND She Is FUN. She knows how to put an event (every event) together so that you can just relax and enjoy it. I'm SO THANKFUL we found her. She thought of details that we would have never realized we wanted or needed, but are SO grateful to her for providing. be. I'll say what impresses me most about Crystal is her ability to interpret, negotiate and hold vendors accountable to contracts. Whether a vendor misses something accidentally, or perhaps intentionally (getting the wrong year on a bottle of red wine, not making enough cocktail tables or heat lamps available, etc.), Crystal is a Jedi Master at catching these issues, and addressing them cooly and effectively. Make no mistake, this saves you money in the long run (or at least ensures you get the value you want). Budget is obviously a huge, huge topic when it comes to wedding planning. Knowing you have someone in your corner who catches this stuff, is super comforting.

To add insult to injury, not only did you leave us high and dry with no wedding planner less than 2 weeks out from our wedding after you added more work to our plate with your lack of attention to detail, unavailability, untimeliness, unprofessionalism, and disorganization, you then proceeded to embellish your own kindness by offering to refund my husband and I half of our $1.4K. What you did and are doing to us is unethical. We had to notify you that we intended to sue you under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act due to you breaching our contract to which you then reimbursed us our $1.4K. We still weren’t made whole though because not only did you not do the work we paid you to do, you cost us time we couldn’t get back to give to another planner to set them up for success. You caused more work, stress, and chaos at a time when we paid for a wedding planner to avoid that very thing so we could enjoy time leading up to the wedding. On Aug 21, 2019, you still had the $95.63 of Hobby Lobby items we purchased in your possession to which you told us you’d return to Hobby Lobby and refund us our money. After not hearing from you for almost a month, I texted you on Sept 18, 2019 to which you texted me back saying that you hadn’t returned our Hobby Lobby items yet, but that you would do so that weekend. After we didn’t see a refund in Venmo and no communication from you on any platform for two additional months, my husband and I both attempted to contact you. We tried to get ahold of you via Venmo, E-Mail, and Text on Nov 27, 2019, Nov 29, 2019, Dec 4, 2019, Dec 28, 2019, and Jan 21, 2020 to no avail. If you are keeping our $95.63 for the last 4 months intentionally, I’d like to point out that you took on too many clients at once without adequate support such as a team or assistant. You wouldn’t have been spread so thin to where you were sending us another clients’ vendor invoice for linens. Then when you did send us a response to confirm an order I laid out for you via phone, email, and a shared Apple note, you still had countless errors to where it became more work to have to deal with you then go straight to the vendors ourself. Lastly, your business etiquette could use a refresher. There were countless times my husband & I asked to talk to you on the phone and you were either unavailable as you were at a concert, out at a dinner, taking the night off, a doctors appt, lunch with a friend, and the list goes on. Not one time did you take responsibility for any of your errors when we would ask for the same thing 4 times. You in fact blamed us on numerous occasions with erroneous accusations such as being limited on time and us not knowing what we wanted when you’d present 1 maybe 2 vendors that were not at all what we were looking for. It didn’t feel like you listened or cared once you got our money. Please do the moral thing here and give us our $95.63 back from the Hobby Lobby items we purchased that you had. Thank you. Since writing this review we finally got a response from her after she ignored us for 4 months. She declined to pay us our own money back! Update: since got paid back the day after
