curious pups! Our guests loved the photo booth and they shared that the photographers were so natural that they didn’t realize they were working. Planning was a breeze, the client portal is easy to navigate, and the actual sessions flow naturally. Crystal is not the type of photographer to make things about her or about those trendy “must-have” shots, she really thinks about who you are as a couple and works with your personalities to set up shots. Additionally, as an LGBTQ+ couple, we were looking for someone who not only had experience with couples like us, but who would be excited to work with us and who understood the added significance of this moment for us. We were not disappointed! Overall, this experience has been marvelous and we can’t wait for our anniversary session in the spring. t in us is an understatement. My husband is tough to get a real smile out of, but she managed it during both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. She goes above and beyond and just made us feel so comfortable. We even had an emergency venue change 24 hours before the wedding was to start thanks to Mother Nature bringing us a flood, and not only did she reply quickly that she would be at the new location without any question, she offered to show up early to help us given all the last minute changes and chaos. Talk about a great photographer! Our pictures are just what we wanted, she's amazing to work with, and you go from just having a vendor there to having a new friend in Crystal. I didn’t have a lot of knowledge regarding photographers and wasn’t sure what we needed/wanted, but with her help we customized a package that was perfect for us! happy to drive 4 1/2 hours to our farm to capture my "farmer fiancé" and I in the cornfield, in our sunflower field and on our combine. On the day she drove up to take our pictures, it was a really hot and humid August day. She walked around the farm with us snapping pictures and was willing to do whatever we wanted. She did an amazing job capturing who we were and was patient with us when we changed outfits. We also hired Crystal to also photograph our wedding the following September. We filled out a questionnaire beforehand so she knew exactly what kinds of pictures we were wanting her to take. A few days before our wedding, she called and made sure everything was on schedule and letting us know what time we would expect her to arrive at the wedding. My fiancé and I did a "First Look" before the wedding and Crystal was so professional and everything went so smoothly. I can't begin to say how satisfied we are with our wedding pictures!! They were absolutely beautiful! She took pictures of all the little detailed things! I would highly recommend Crystal if you are looking for a photographer!

us much needed instruction on what poses looked best.  I personally loved that because all of our pictures came out beautiful and natural.  It's hard to know how to pose, so having someone instruct you for what to do made picture taking so much easier, especially for the wedding day.   She had great ideas for background, poses, and listened to all of our suggestions.   When it came to the actual day she traveled to MD to capture our wedding.  She was on time and had a second photographer, which allowed us to get different views and angles of our wedding day.  It was raining that day, and she was more than willing to go through the rain with us to get some amazing outdoor shots.  We received our photos in 3 weeks, which is really quick and they were so much better than I could have hoped for!  Crystal has a way of capturing memories where they look so candid and in the moment, instead of looking extremely posed.  Every time I look at our photos you can see the genuine love and happiness of two people coming together with their families.  Plus, Crystal is such a chill and down to earth person, it made taking pictures easier.  So if you're looking for an amazing photographer that's affordable, will travel, and capture the moments instead of the poses for your wedding day, there is no better person/photographer than Crystal.

ur wedding was outdoors and went into the evening and Crystal did an awesome job dealing with difficult lighting from daylight to sunset to dark of night. Both her posed and candid shots are fantastic. She caught Mother of The Bride and Mother of the Groom simultaneously wiping tears out of their eyes during the ceremony,great "getting ready photos" and pictures of the bride and groom that look like she is peeking through the azaleas at them with the bushes soft focused in the foreground, the bride and groom with uplighting in our yard at night and one of my personal favorites...the bridal party from my bulldog puppy's point of view with dog on a bench in the foreground. She is a true pro and got all of the lighting effects my daughter was looking for. Prints were of awesome quality and we are having trouble figuring out what to put in the wedding album because there are so many EXCELLENT shots. And she got it all without being in anyone's face like I have seen at other weddings.

after I got married to the man of my dreams, my oldest brother suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. In an emotional post, I asked Facebook to tag me in pictures of my brother. Almost immediately I got a message; it was Crystal telling me that she would drop what she was doing, find all the wedding pictures with my brother in them, and send them to me. I really really can't express the gratitude that I have. She took the last picture of me and my brother and it is beautiful and perfect in every way. Not everyone has that kind heart to do something like that. I'm sure there were other brides and people that were waiting on photos too. ay of. She is very down to earth and easy to work with. I love the variety of poses she got with my husband and I. I did wish that I had a greater variety of poses with our bridal party, but I think this was because we had a very large party (8 on each side). We recieved all of our images in a very timely manner, and all of our communication leading up to the big day was very timely, which was important to me as I had one vendor I had to hunt down. Overall I would definitely recommend Crystal Image Photography!

They took pictures of my husband and I as we were getting dressed/ready. They also took pictures of the venue before the guests arrived. They took some great candids, as well. All of the pictures were creative and Crystal made sure to take multiple positions/standpoints, so we could choose the ones we liked best. Afterwards, we received our flash drive a few weeks after the wedding. It allows for easy uploads and ordering from our favorite printer, which was ideal. When I stumbled upon Crystal's website I was shocked, I thought for sure there was a mistake with her pricing as it was 2 to 3 times cheaper than everyone else. Her pricing and packages were a dream come true!! The main deciding factor of course were her pictures. I really liked how real they were, she knows exactly what angles you should be at, how the lighting will effect the shot, and most importantly how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. It was also a huge plus that she agreed to work with us, even with the 5+ hour drive. We are extremely happy with our pictures and the experience with Crystal!! I wish they were closer to where we live because they would be the photographers for all our family yearly pictures. Crystal and her team have that fun way about them that gets you to relax and they are able to capture the best natural shots. The pictures do not looked posed and forced. A lot of folks who looked at our pictures commented how good they were and how the photographers captured the feelings between us. That is a good photographer in my eyes. Part of the package we chose included the rights to all the digital files so I can make prints of all the ones I want in the perfect sizes, cropped just the way I want them. She even had a digital picture "frame" at the reception, with a slide show of the photos she had taken before the ceremony. It was a nice addition to the evening. My daughter has plans to use Crystal family photos in the coming years!
