I did not have a bridal party with a bunch of girls, so it was difficult at first finding someone who would work with only two people. Something that I realized after my wedding is that it's so important to choose vendors that you enjoy being around, as you spend so much time with them on your big day. Crystal went above and beyond my expectations of someone I'd want to work with/spend the early morning hours getting ready with. She is a complete joy to be around. Crystal was a dream to work with and I can't recommend her highly enough! During the hair & makeup trial before my wedding, Crystal listened carefully to what I was hoping to achieve and what I wanted to avoid, given the last time I'd had my hair & makeup done years ago, I'd been quite unhappy with the results! I was a bit nervous since I typically don't wear much makeup and was worried I'd feel overdone, but she ended up creating both hair (classic updo) and makeup (fresh, natural, glowy) looks that were better than I could have imagined. On the day of the wedding, she recreated these looks perfectly and I truly felt like the best, most confident version of myself. (The hair and makeup also stayed absolutely flawless throughout the entire evening and into the early hours of the morning.) She also created a beautiful makeup look for my husband's sister, who was thrilled. Crystal is also just an extremely sweet, fun person who made me feel very calm and relaxed on a day that was filled with nerves! Ladies, if you’re looking for a hair and make up artist, look no further. Crystal is by far the best artist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Legit. My hubs and I decided to keep our original date and tie the knot 7/3/20. It was a very bizarre time for me because I was essentially getting ready by myself.. none of my bridesmaids were able to be there because of COVID and my family was traveling in for the backyard wedding so I legit got dressed and my hair and make up done. By. My. Self. Pretty sad. But when I tell you Crystal made me feel so special and like I had known her forever. She is so personable and made me feel right at home! Crystal was an instrumental part of my wedding and brought my Hollywood glam look to life. She was communicative throughout the entire process and helped ease my nerves leading up to and on my big day.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Crystal was to work with! She created the most gorgeous hairdo for my wedding, I couldn't have dreamed of something more stunning! Not only is she creative, but she is super nice and was a dream to work with, both for the hair trial and the day of the wedding! I did multiple trials with her because I couldn't decide what I wanted and she really took the time to listen and play around with different ideas and styles until she came up with the perfect one. She created an amazing braided low bun that was more Hollywood red carpet and it was absolutely perfect and it literally stayed in the entire night! By 1am my hair looked like it had just gotten done. She was even nice enough to do a little updo late minute for my 2.5 year old niece! She is a real treat and I wish I could do it all over again just so I can work with her!

I've worked with Crystal and seen her in action in the television world, so there was no question I wanted her to handle my look for my wedding. I never felt the need to shop around. Communication and scheduling was easy and like talking to a friend. :) She was adaptable with any of the adjustments I wanted to make to my look after the trial. She made my day a piece of cake and her demeanor was so calm and cool that I never worried that I was running out of time or things wouldn't turn out right. ALSO! I've never had an updo that lasted more than an hour or two and I was able to dance all day and night without any issues! That's a true miracle.

Where do I start.. This chick goes above and beyond her duties as a stylist and I am so happy to have met her. I am from Virginia, and was not sure that I wanted the fancy "New York" look (not that I even know what that means - big hair and heavy make up I guess). She took all of my vision into close consideration and then added some great touches. My make up was so natural, and I loved the subtle baby's breath in my hair (last minute decision). Okay when I say above and beyond... I mean this girl was ordering me skin care products off Amazon at the trial to moisturize before the wedding! She's passionate about her job. And honest. She gave great advice to me and my bridesmaids, which means a lot when you've never been a bride and she's experienced so many of them. Most importantly, she really takes your day seriously. Crystal knows all the important tricks and she will make you feel so comfortable. Recommend 100%!

Crystal and her team were so wonderful! I had done a trial with Crystal beforehand, and she was so warm and welcoming - I absolutely loved the way she made me look! Like myself, but a million times better :) I ended up booking Crystal Marie Bridal for my wedding day (hair and makeup); Crystal did hair and makeup for me, my mother, and my husband's stepmother (all AMAZING). My mother doesn't usually like hair and makeup - at all - and she loved Crystal. She made my mother feel super comfortable and look naturally beautiful. I was lucky enough to book Crystal for bridal hair & makeup for myself, my mother, and my four bridesmaids. Hiring Crystal was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. At my hair and makeup trial, Crystal gladly showed me an option for wearing my hair up and an option for wearing my hair down to help me decide between two styles I liked. She nailed my makeup on the first attempt with very little guidance. After the trial, Crystal was kind enough to text me skin care product recommendations and advise me on when to get my hair cut (and how many inches). On the big day, Crystal and her assistant flawlessly executed each person's hair and makeup visions with ease. Crystal remained calm and focused which really allowed me to relax. A huge weight was lifted the moment I booked Crystal and I would 100% recommend her.

Crystal did my hair and makeup for both my bridal shower and my wedding on September 28, 2018. Crystal was an absolute pleasure to work with from day one. Before my trial she asked me to send her pictures of my hair and she picked out hair extensions that matched perfectly! The first time I met Crystal I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. She was so easy to talk to and very patient. My hair and my makeup were the least stressful part of wedding planning because I knew I could count on Crystal, and I was right! Crystal contacted me several times before my wedding day to check in and ask if I needed anything. She really helped to calm my nerves. Crystal and her team (Anna and Lacey) traveled to a hotel in northern New Jersey and arrived on time and stuck to the schedule that Crystal and I agreed upon ahead of time. All of my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law and my Grandma looked amazing and were very happy with their hair and makeup! After we left the hotel, Crystal even came with me to my wedding venue to perform touch-ups. I felt at ease the whole time knowing Crystal was there to touch-up my hair and makeup during pictures and before my ceremony. Crystal is a true artist and takes pride in her work. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and received so many compliments. I would hire Crystal again in a heartbeat!

As someone who does not get their hair done very often or own a blow dryer it is safe to say that my hair was a concern. Crystal was patient with me and helped talk me through styles until I found the one that I loved. She is very easy to talk to and understanding. Crystal did my hair and make up for my wedding this past month and I was so pleased and happy with her services! My hair and make up turned out exactly how I envisioned. I asked for the "no make up, make up" look and Crystal totally nailed it. I told her I was nervous about fake eyelashes looking too theatrical and she was able to show and let me try on several styles before deciding on one that looked very natural. I just have to say that, I'm the type of gal who doesn't really wear makeup. I had a few bad experiences in my life with makeup artists and when my wedding came around, I knew the only person I could trust was Crystal. First of all, she literally made me look like Gigi Hadid. She looked at my skin tone, my hair, my eyes, and told me exactly what she thought would look best. She also took the time to look at my inspo pictures and really studied my face. They had the photos and schedule taped on the wall and ready to go before the first appointment. Crystal stayed with me until the start of the ceremony, ensuring my hair was perfect for photos. Having her there really helped me feel relaxed and assured everyone was looking great - I just wish I hired her to stay longer because I really could have used her keen eye when we took photos at our venue especially with the wind! I met Crystal through a friend of mine and started following her Instagram account. Over the years I watched all the amazing work she has done. When it came time for me to pick someone to do mine and my bridesmaids hair, I messaged Crystal without hesitation. The day of the wedding, she was nothing but positive and professional. Crystal is the makeup artist and hair stylist you didn't know you needed! From the moment we met she was nothing but professional and helpful. She provided so much (needed) advice, recommendations, and positivity leading up to the big day. She really wants you to feel beautiful and won't force any look on you. I'm not one who wears much, if any, makeup and she made me feel utterly flawless on the day of my wedding. My bridesmaids LOVED her team, and they are not an easy bunch to please. None of them fussed over their hair or makeup and they couldn't stop looking at themselves in the mirror. She is reasonably priced, always in communication, and so helpful. I hired Crystal because she was a referral from my best friend who also used her in her wedding, and quickly fell in love with not only her amazing work, but her calming and fun personality. Throughout th entire process she was professional and provided makeup/ skincare support up until the big day. But what I love even more, is how absolutely beautiful she made me feel on my actual wedding day. She is able to truly make people look like their most beautiful self without caking on a ton of makeup and making you look like a different person. Also, since she does both hair and makeup, she was able to seemlessly put together my entire "look" and touch things up along the with way. I couldn't have imagined using anyone else and CAN NOT wait to use her again. If I could hire her as my personal glam squad every day I would. Do yourself a favor and hire her. You'll sleep easy knowing you're in the hands of a glam goddess. 👸

I found Crystal on The Knot and knew immediately when I met her for my trial that she would be the perfect hair and makeup artist for my big day. She is patient, she listens, she genuinely wants her clients to be happy and she is so fun! She answered any of my questions leading up to the big day promptly and thoroughly - I was definitely at ease. She did hair/makeup for my bridesmaids as well and they couldn't stop talking about how great Crystal was and how pleased they were with the results. As the bride, I never felt more beautiful! Crystal is incredibly talented and anyone would be lucky to work with her!

I think it took me so long to write this review, because that would officially mean my makeup love affair with Crystal Aleman was over. I met Crystal 5 months before my June wedding, after having multiple failed trials with other hair and makeup artists. I am extremely particular in the sense that I prefer a natural look, but also have certain insecurities (dark circles under my eyes) and find that many artists cannot balance between the two. After my hair and makeup trial with Crystal (yes she does both!), I was not only impressed with her ability to do EXACTLY what I wanted, but also in her warm and welcoming personality. Crystal is so much fun to be around and this was something that I knew would be important for me. I wanted someone who would not only deliver on the look, but also someone who I would want to be there on the day of my wedding. In the months leading up to my wedding, Crystal was helpful, attentive, and in communication with me to ensure all of my questions and concerns were met. In that time, Crystal also came to my apartment to do my hair and makeup for my bridal shower. On my wedding day, I decided to have Crystal only work with me and she was able to bring a wonderful team to work with my bridesmaids. Crystal stayed with me all day, which I would 100% recommend!! It was incredible having her with me to touch up anything I needed in-between photos and walking down the aisle. To be honest, Crystal not only became one of my most valued vendors, but also a friend! She is incredible. Look no further if you are looking for someone who can master any look, style, or preference. Since working with Crystal, two of my friends in my wedding party have hired her and multiple people have asked for her contact information. I cannot thank Crystal enough and I am currently trying to find an excuse to hire her again.

I had Crystal do my hair/makeup for my engagement photos! I loved her work and the best part was that my hair and make up lasted (it was perfect) for the 3.5 hour shoot! She was so knowledgable about each and every product she used and it make me feel even more confident as well. I told her what I wanted and she was able to create the exact look I wanted! She is very punctual and always one step ahead so you dont have to worry! She made me feel very comfortable while she worked! I loved that she was also able to travel to my apartment as well! Crystal is unbelievably talented & because of her background & expertise she knew exactly how much make up to apply so it would show up in photos! I hired Crystal to do my hair and makeup for my wedding the other day and I couldn't be happier. SHE IS AMAZING!!!! She did 2 of my girls blowouts and my hair/makeup. Everyone looked GORGEOUS! We all loved her!! Our hair lasted all day and my makeup was perfect. I've never felt so beautiful! I cant wait to have another reason that I need services so I can use her again! Talk about an incredible make up artist. After having the hardest time finding a makeup artist, I was introduced to Crystal who is so insanely talented. Crystal did the makeup for my bridal party all of whom have very different skin types and she did the most incredible job on all of us. We all went with very different looks, from natural, to glamorous, to bold and every one of us was in love with how our make up turned out. Having been in several weddings, it's rare that everyone is happy with their make up. Crystal is so professional, organized, and fun to be around which is very helpful when she is hanging out with you the morning of your wedding! Crystal made me and everyone in my bridal party feel so beautiful. We were all getting compliments all night. I couldn't recommend Crystal more! If you are getting married and want to look like a glowing bride with perfect skin, Crystal is your girl!
