Crystal is an amazing photographer! She captured all of the right moments and the pictures turned out SPECTACULAR! I would highly recommend her!

Crystal had great availability for us and was very responsive through e-mail communication to work out details for the day. She had us do a survey that helped a lot since we didn't really know what to expect. She was right on time, and was willing to work with a separate location for some photos as well. She worked over the holiday to get our gallery to us, and we appreciated her fast turn around. Lots of photographs to choose from and the editing she did complemented the moment. Crystal gave good direction, for getting us to get out of the normal smile pose, which led to some great moments. For me personally I would have liked a little more direction, but with the small amount of time we had with her (based on our budget) we really did manage to capture the ceremony well. My husband and I would highly recommend Crystal V Photography for your event. Very professional and experienced.

Crystal was amazing! We got our pictures from our wedding in October and were blown away by her amazing angles and ability to capture the perfect moments! She was professional, easy to work with, and all around awesome. I would 10/10 recommend using her for your special day!

We just got our photos back from Crystal and they are AMAZING. I was so concerned about posing because my husband and I feel really awkward in front of the camera, but she had us just laugh and have fun together while guiding us into poses that somehow looked so good in photos! Plus she insisted on doing some that were a little more dramatic and they turned out great! We got the package with the 2nd photographer too, which I highly recommend getting. It wasn't that much more and the other photographer got photos she couldn't get while she was busy with other things. We are so happy with how everything turned out! I highly recommend her!

We had an outdoor evening wedding in November. It was quite brisk, but the photos turned out amazing. Crystal went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was captured perfectly. If she hadn’t of shot the couple pictures of our guests wrapped in blankets and winter coats, we would have forgotten how cold it was. I would recommend her to everyone without hesitation, for she was a pleasure to work with!

Crystal is AMAZING!! If you are looking for a skillful photographer who is easy to work with, do not look any further!! She was so sweet and communicative from the moment I booked her. Our engagement pictures were literally to die for and she made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire session. This was the first time my husband and I ever had professional pictures taken, so we were a little nervous. I truly feel like she spent a ton of time with us and her excitement and positive energy made us feel so much more comfortable. We got our engagement photos back vey quickly and they were all perfect! The day of the wedding it unfortunately rained almost the entire day, but Crystal did her best to get some great pictures despite the weather. At one point, she was standing in the rain for a long period of time trying to get pictures of us on the porch and did not complain one single time. I chose to get a second photographer which was her husband and they were both great. I have not yet received my wedding photos but I know they will be nothing short of amazing. She spent a lot of time getting pictures of the decorations/details and I cannot wait to see them all. She was so accommodating, communicative, and really cared about what we wanted. She was also not afraid to be direct when taking family photos which I loved because it made everything run more smoothly and quickly. Not only was she easy too work with, but she is SO GOOD at what she does. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

I am so lucky to have found Crystal for my wedding! I 100% recommend her. She was amazing to work with from the beginning until the very end. She has an amazing eye for detail and I recommend that when you book her, you listen to her suggestions. She brought her husband as an extra photographer and they worked seamlessly to get all the little details. She took amazing photos in an unobtrusive way, and she had them delivered earlier than expected. Overall, I have zero complaints and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Crystal was an amazing photographer to work with; she was easy to communicate with from start to finish. She emailed with us and we had a really nice and in-depth phone conversation to get started. She asked a lot of questions to get a good idea of what we were looking for and on the day of the wedding, I trusted that she was capturing everything that I wanted and more and I didn't have to worry or even think about it. And the photos are evidence that my trust was well founded! We are thrilled with the images, they truly captured the day - from tiny details (all the tiny details that meant so much to me and that I want to remember forever and I am so happy that I now have held in beautiful, professional photos) to the big picture (large scale, wide-lens shots that take in the whole scene, which was really important to me as well as we had an outdoor wedding with gorgeous gardens in the foreground and a shimmering lake in the background and in any of the guests' photos it was impossible to capture the whole thing, but Crystal's professional shots take it all in and really do justice to the setting that we put so much effort (and money) in having for our ceremony and it means to much to have it all available to look back on) she really got it all. She also caught all of the moments in the reception, we enjoyed looking through the photos and seeing the parts of the party that we didn't even know were happening around us! She caught small personal moments in the garden grounds and big fun moments on the dance floor, she somehow managed to be everywhere! She even made sure to catch us at the right time to get some sunset photos, which we would not have thought of and would have missed without her. And she made sure that we got photos in all of the locations of the beautiful venue so that we were sure to have all of the scenes that we loved, which there were a lot of, both inside and out! Crystal was really easy to work with and she directed the posed photos with ease and simplicity and she caught a lot of candid moments as well. It was the perfect combination.

Crystal did a lovely job capturing our wedding day & all of the details. She is professional and very talented. She captured my whole ceremony such as walking down the aisle, vows, exchanging of rings, the first kiss - all at different angles for us. She also took care of taking pictures of ALL of my wedding items such as my programs, seating cards, flowers, rings, shoes, jewelry, dress, cake, cake utensils, card box, Hershey kisses, centerpieces, and took wonderful photos of my entire family, guests having fun, groom, myself and the entire bridal party which all turned out amazing. I really appreciated the fact she took pictures of all these items because we worked really hard on them and now I can have these photos forever. I got married in Gladwin, Michigan - planned the wedding in South Carolina. Crystal made this day perfect. I wanted a winter wedding - (obviously, she didn't provide the snow, but she captured it) I didn't have to worry about a thing - she knew my vision, and she made she grabbed the shots to help us remember our perfect day of a Winter Wonderland. I feel blessed that I found her for this special day.

We had our engagement photos done this spring with Crystal and then our wedding in September. Both times she was friendly and we were very happy with the photos we received. I think she even wound up staying a little longer than the hours we booked her for, because some things ran a little behind at our wedding. My husband & I are from Muskegon, but got married in Charlevoix, MI. We searched a few different wedding websites (including The Knot) and kept finding great reviews about Crystal V Photography. We met with her at a coffee shop and the rest is history!! We booked her that day on the spot because her portfolios were simply amazing & her personality just fit with us! I used Crystal for our wedding & engagement photos and I would 100% recommend her over anyone else! She is AMAZING & her work/photography is out of this world! Crystal and her husband were my wedding photographers a couple of months ago. After scouring through some of the other photographers on The Knot, I met up with Crystal and we sat and had coffee and talked for quite a while. I decided to book her on the spot not only because she had beautiful photo albums, but because of her willingness to listen to all of my requests (lol!) and answer all of my questions with honest answers. I honestly didn't know if I even needed a second photographer package but it worked out great because her husband was able to photograph the groom & groomsmen while she was with my girls and I while we were getting ready. I also had a few photo requests that she admitted she couldn't get on her own (like the kiss at the altar... I wanted a close up but also one facing back toward my guests), and her husband was able to get those extra photos for me. Oh, I got an album with my package as well and it is GORGEOUS! I did have to spend a little more for the cover that I wanted plus some additional pages, but that is just because I wanted more photos in there than what she had put in originally. Overall I am very happy with everything she provided!

I looked around last fall for a photographer for my wedding this June and that is when I found Crystal V Photography. I was looking at a couple of other photographers as well, but I liked that she didn't seem as "sales-pitchey" as the other ones that I met with. We "clicked" I guess you could say, and I knew that would be important since she would be with me my entire wedding day. She and the other photographer she brought along were friendly but not overbearing, which made us really comfortable, as we didn't want to spend the whole day getting told to pose and smile every little bit. She had a way of just catching us having all these moments and the photos are beautiful. I picked her because I liked that the photos were classic but not "dated" if that makes sense. She seems to take the kind of photos that don't look like a passing fad. Oh, one reason we initially chose her over a couple of others was because her reception photos on her site looked good and we'd seen others that looked blurry and grainy. I'd heard that a lot of photographers fall apart in the dark, but Crystal did not. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who is getting married.!

Crystal photographed my wedding in July of 2014. We couldn't have asked for a nicer photographer. She was able to get beautiful photos that captured our emotions perfectly. Crystal took pictures at my intimate beach wedding on Lake Michigan. She came around sunset and used the beautiful scenery and lighting to our advantage. Our pictures are outstanding.... she made us look great, but still natural. She was on time, quick to respond to email while planning and sent us proofs within a month.
