Crystal-Eyez Makeup & Hair

day. They were attentive to my wants and needs and truly helped me execute my wedding look. I would easily book them again!

ments on my wedding day look.

ty services who could style my natural hair and came across them less than two months before the wedding. In my initial communication to them, I shared that I had a bridal party of nine women who needed their hair done. I was told with our size, they would provide two hair stylist and it would take three hours to get us all ready. This was great as the wedding ceremony began at 5:30PM and I wanted to ensure we were ready by 4:00PM. Well, I scheduled a hair trial and made sure I read the information for the trial thoroughly and it stated to come 15 minutes early, clean hair, product-free, dry, detangled and ready for styling. I followed all the details the way I understood it. When I arrived, there was another person in the chair. This wasn't a huge deal, but I didn't get into the chair until 30 minutes after my appointment. This made me a little concerned at first because I wanted to make sure everything ran on time for my big day. I shared the photo with Cori of the look I wanted to achieve. With having natural hair, I did not have my hair pressed as I thought this would happen during my appointment. Sadly, this was not the expectation of the salon. So I made note to share this detail with my ladies so that no issues would come up the day of the wedding. However, Cori was able to press and pin as much as possible so that we could get an idea of what my hair could look like. After talking more with her during my appointment, I felt great that she and the other stylist would be a great addition to my wedding team. After the appointment, I sent over my deposit and was waiting for the contract. It took the manager a week to get back to me with bad news that they only had one stylist available. I was very disappointed with this news as that was the main reason I went with Crystal Eyez. Now, I had to adjust our day of timeline. Since we couldn't get into the wedding venue until 1PM, Crystal Eyez did allow us to start our services at the salon and then transitioned to the wedding venue. This did include bridesmaids starting their hair appointment at 8AM and the ceremony starting at 5:30PM. I wasn't happy about this at all, but nonetheless, Cori worked her magic! Cori was on time, very professional and did a wonderful job of making all of the bridal party beautiful! She did an excellent job on me as well. Taking her time and not rushing the process was was I admired. She also touched up the ladies if they needed it. Overall, she did a wonderful job and I was satisfied! My recommendation is to book them early and come with pressed hair to the trial if you want a sleek look!

h Symone but asked her for a more dewy look for the big day so my face wouldn't be as powdery, and boy did she deliver on the feedback! I looked and felt incredible! My look lasted from 11 AM to 12 AM through all the tears (my bridesmaids did touch me up after the tears of my first look). I highly highly recommend Crystal Eyez for your makeup needs! They were incredibly professional and responsive to all my questions leading up to the big day, and do phenomenal work!

es. Couldn't be more happy!!

preparing for my brother’s wedding. She was responsive to my emails and calls, worked with me on settling dates, and helped me arrange schedules. I really appreciated her accommodation when there was a huge change to the wedding date. Bisi was patient, professional, and still assured services would get done. On the day of the wedding, we were all pleased with one of the Crystal-Eyez Makeup & Hair team members, Jojo. All of the other clients and I each had a great experience with her and she did an excellent job. She arrived on time, was very down to earth, and made sure each of us got exactly what we requested checking for accuracy and precision: the results came out wonderful. Thank you again, Bisi to you and your amazing team for the beautiful makeup services!

o fortunate that my wedding planner had worked with and recommended this vendor to us. We hired Bisi and her salon Crystal Eyez for hair and makeup for our wedding party of 9 - me (bride), maid of honor, 4 bridesmaids, flower girl and both mothers. Bisi and her artists were professional, easy to communicate with before and after the event, friendly and most importantly, they were able to effectively meet our expectations as a group. Not one person was unhappy with their final look!

y absolutely loved their makeup. Thanks again for making our prep time the best experience ever!!! Janice B. ♥️

so many compliments on her artistry! So grateful her sweet soul was apart of my wedding day!! Best in the business and best in Chicago! Can’t wait to use her services again! 💕

as ready! She greeted with a bubbly personality. I sat down and shared more information about the event and gave my one request that my eyes be the focus of my makeup experience. She did not disappoint and nailed the assignment! That night everywhere I went someone complimented me on my makeup! The photos I took were stunningly gorgeous! For me it was a life changing moment. I’d recently gained weight and did feel confident. My experience with Crystal Eyez changed that! Thank you!!!!

and delivered above and beyond. My make up looked flawless throughout the day even with the humidity in Mexico. She also did my mom and sister’s make up (they both looked gorgeous). Everyone kept commenting on how gorgeous I looked and the photos are amazing. Bisi is very professional and kind. She is also very patient and was flexible when I changed my mind about my hairstyle the day of the wedding. Thank you Bisi for everything. It was a pleasure working with you!

cause I had a full day wedding, taking me to over 12 hours of having my makeup in tact. She was very time efficient with our party of 7 total, keeping us on schedule :)

on time, in and out. I couldn't ask for more.

. I had a large party (12 ladies), and they were prompt, professional, and efficient. The quality was unmatched. Even a few of my guests booked makeup appointments. People are still talking about how beautiful everyone looked. If you need a makeup artist for any occasion, look no further. You will not be disappointed. I will continue to use Crystal-Eyez for all my makeup needs.

a partial sew-in in place. In 2021, CE did the sew-in and colored my hair and the weave, in addition to styling my wedding hair. I actually liked their sew-in better than the place that did it before. Cori was my stylist and the way she did it was more comfortable, looked natural and provided flexibility in hairstyles. In terms of color, at first the color wasn’t what I wanted, but it’s possible the picture I showed wasn’t exactly representative. CE was extremely accommodating and re-dyed it the next day and it was perfect. If you’re wondering if you should do hair here, I say YES. For makeup, every time I saw a black person in a Chicago wedding magazine the makeup was by CE. They didn’t disappoint. I went to them a couple of times throughout the process and each time they were efficient and executed what I wanted very well. For the 2021 wedding, I had 8 bridesmaids who all got their makeup done in addition to me and my Mom. They were Black, Indian, Asian, and Latina and CE made them look flawless. Truly, I was impressed by how well they did everyone’s makeup. My photographer also made a comment stating he was impressed as well and it sounded genuine! Finally, I recommend CE because they are very easy to work with logistically. Clearly they do weddings all the time. It’s easy to make and reschedule appointments. They were always timely. Day-of they were also on time and worked efficiently. I would tell brides to use CE for hair and makeup rather than their regular stylist for this reason alone. CE is an excellent salon and any bride should hire them with confidence!

makeup for my wedding day. I was totally blown away by her looks and her style was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted that glam, flawless look and that’s exactly what she gave me. She was also very flexible with me when I had to reschedule my wedding three times! Finally the big day came and I looked beyond beautiful and so did my bridesmaids. Bisi and her team did our hair and makeup and we all looked fabulous! They do such a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them to anyone. You won’t be sorry!

all night on how lovely our hair and make up was. I hands down recommend trusting Crystal-Eyez makeup and hair for your big day. You will not be disappointed!

wanted to look on the wedding day, despite this, Bisi was able to create a look that made her feel beautiful. Even with several interruptions, she was professional and committed to ensuring my wife was satisfied with the final look. My wife received compliments from all guests (including me!). We highly recommend working with Bisi.

knew what I wanted for my hair and deployed a great stylist to my location to perform. Catrina did my hair. She was professional, personable and above all did an outstanding job!!!! I couldnt have been more pleased. So grateful for this company!!!

she made me look like a princess! I showed her a picture of the styles I liked and she absolutely executed. She didn’t try to get me to change my mind or say she could do a version of it, she gave me exactly what I asked for and kept good conversation while she glammed me up. Victoria was my makeup artist and just wow! I have her my inspiration and she mastered it. My makeup was flawless, I felt beautiful, the makeup lasted and I received so many compliments. Thank you so much for everything! I am so confident in saying I was a beautiful rose thanks to your enhancements!

arding services. Otherwise, i was please with the actual results on my wedding day!

eled all the way from Chicago to make me look flawless for my wedding day. She gave me the perfect make up and hair with little to no direction. It was so nice to have someone come in and already know what to do and how to do it in the middle of a hectic day directing ppl. She was so professional and sweet. Bisi even went above and beyond doing a last minute hair style for my mom. I can’t say enough great things about her. I will be booking with her for all future major events!

e makeup lasted all day and photographed beautifully. A+ rating!!

up and ready to go! I had only 1 pack of clip ins for my really thin hair but she worked wonders with it. The make-up was seriously the best I have ever had done my a MUA...and I have been to plenty! She had another artist with her that did my brides maids and mom’s make up. She seriously took 10 years off my mom. She looked fab! I highly highly recommend her and her team.

al and the day of makeup and hair! Her team was also amazing and did an incredible job on my bridesmaids and mothers hair and makeup. They were punctual, professional, and fun to have around doing hair and makeup as we were all getting ready! My hair and makeup stayed flawless from the time they finished at 1pm through the entire day, and a night of sleep! I loved Bisi's hair and makeup job so much they are now my go-to spot for hair and makeup for holiday parties and other special events (I travel from Lincoln Square to South Loop for them).

rty and I get glammed up we’re fantastic, they were friendly, fast and did incredible work!

did not have time to do a makeup trial and I was very happy with my makeup. It lasted throughout the entire day. She was extremely professional and listened to me which I think it is important. Everyone got a ton of compliments. Definitely recommend

most about Bisi is she takes your considerations into account, without compromising her aesthetic style. I am not a fan of a lot of make up, and have had issues with artistes applying a ton of foundation or lashes that feel heavy. I essentially stopped using lashes because I felt so uncomfortable with them. Bisi understood that I wanted a natural look and gave me exactly that. My face felt very light and I couldn't tell I had lashes on. She gave me the perfect hint of color with my lipstick and eye shadows. I truly felt amazing on my wedding day without feeling unrecognizable. She was extremely professional and punctual throughout the process and gave me a lot of tips on how to apply my foundation. My mom rarely has make up on, and she made her look flawless on as well. I was lucky enough to have her for the entire night so she was available for my touch up, but I recommend getting her touch up kit if you don't have her for the night. My sisters got the touch up kit, which contains all the essentials for a quick do over. I still get tons of compliments about how amazing I looked that night and I couldn't have felt that beautiful if Bisi hadn't glammed me up.

y bridesmaids who were also made up by Crystal-eyez looked fabulous.

say myself; I received so many compliments that night. Everyone told me I looked like a celebrity and some said I looked like a real live Barbie. Thank you Bisi!!!!

the way the handled me and my bridesmaids. Thank you!!

verall look and blend of everything. I was nervous at first because I came in from out of town for my wedding and wasn't able to do a trial ahead of time. I was put at ease immediately as she arrived on time, and ready to go (she's also pleasant to work with and had a good attitude)! Needless to say, all of my worries were instantly erased when I finally got to see the finished look in the mirror! The end result was everything I could've asked for and so much more. I even cried during the wedding but still somehow had a flawless look until the end of our day. I would definitely use their services again... Especially Chantalle!!! Thanks!

ditional techniques used on my group of ladies, which had various shades of complexions. All of us Looked and Felt Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The level of Professionalism and Skill from the Artists were Top Notch! Highly Recommend!

ibu, California, on the hottest day on record in July. Given the circumstances, Bisi went above and beyond to work with textures to provide sweat free and comforable makeup that suited both my taste and the wedding aestheic. She also stayed throughout for touch ups if needed, never complaining once, though the makeup lasted all day and night with only a few touch ups needed. The trial the day prior was informative and seamless. Pricing was reasonable & quality was excellent. We were able to talk through adjustments and changes that were well executed on the wedding day. I would highly recommend Cystal Eyez Makeup & Beauty Lounge for your wedding or next event.

.

y flexible with scheduling my trial appointment and on the day if they showed up early! They do an amazing job with everyone’s hair and I would highly recommend them for anyone wedding, party, etc. you will not be disappointed!!

team paid close attention to details and the execution of my wedding beauty and make-up expectations. They exceeded every goal that was put forth for the entire picture perfect wedding style! Every single bridesmaid was extonished at their look upon completion. They were made to look gorgeous and received tips and tools of how to maintain their desired look. As a previous bride to be, I can truly say that Crystal-Eyes beauty and make-up gave me a MILLION DOLLAR LOOK! I am so grateful I chose this company for my big day! I look forward to utilizing their service for many occasions to come!

geous hair styles, she also did an amazing job in easing my stress on my wedding day. The morning of my wedding, I was freaking out because my other vendors were getting on my last nerve and I couldn't stay seated for her to do my makeup and hair. However, she was very patient with me and took her time to calm me down and made me feel like it was all about me. She took her time to do my makeup and hair and absolutely made me look like a princess. Even when I was running late and turning into a bridezilla she stayed with me until I got into the limo. I must add that she did my makeup and hair at 10am and it stayed slayed all day without any touch up. Even at 12am (14hrs later) after all the dancing, my guests couldn't believe that I still had on the same makeup from morning...it was still Flawless! I will recommend Crystal-Eyez over and over again....definitely my favorite vendor of the day. God bless Crystal-Eyez for showing me soo much love and support.
