Long Summary:
I don’t even know where to start with Crystal Rose Events, because I’m still in shock and I could cry tears of joy just thinking about how helpful Crystal Rose Events was on my wedding day, which happened six days ago!
My husband and I had a very intimate, 30 guest wedding in a rented 10,000 square-foot villa in the mountains of Malibu, and even as a busy resident physician, I wanted to plan the entire thing myself to give that personal touch! I am someone who rarely gives up control of a situation and wants to do everything, so I knew that I didn’t need a full service planner for the wedding!
About three months prior to the wedding, I interviewed probably 4 to 5 different coordinators based in LA for the wedding, and I was so disappointed because the others were upcharging about $5-10k just to coordinate on the day of or the month of!! One coordinator based out of the OC was trying to advocate for her high price point and said that I should be the bride and not have to worry about picking a food vendor or a florist, and they already had a list of vendors that they could choose from. While I understand their perspective, this is certainly not what I was asking for, and to me, that did not justify that high price tag.
Then, in between seeing patients in the hospital and even missing the appointment with Crystal and she was so gracious to make time in the next hour to meet with me again, I met Crystal over zoom and I knew instantly that my gut was telling me that she was the one that would be able to fully execute my vision for my wedding on the day of!! she was so professional, warm, and she outlined how she would help me stay organized the months prior to the wedding, and fully execute everything that I wanted on the day of.
Let me tell you, the chaos that I left in the kitchen and the ceremony area for Crystal to clean up was completely gone when I walked out and my wedding dress in full hair and make up. I looked around and I was in awe because everything that I thought of in my head of how I wanted to go into fruition and I’m still in shock and disbelief.Throughout the entire day, she and her assistant make sure that the entire wedding was on time, organized, and she was like a magician, making things happen out of thin air 🥹
With three simple words that Crystal told me and my husband of, “I got you”, she truly lives up to that and more!! Also, Crystal graduated with a degree in psychology from the best undergrad and is on track to becoming a licensed therapist on top of everything that she is doing for this company, so that probably makes sense that you’re not only getting coordinator planner but also a therapist 🤩 is so wonderful and much much needed!!!
She completely deserves all of the love and respect that I can give, and I truly cannot emphasize this enough that I do not say this about many people or vendors. I hope all the brides out there can experience the services that Crystal and her team provides without breaking the bank and knowing that you’re truly getting the value of every little thing that she’s doing.

As an exceedingly stubborn bride, I over-estimated my knowledge and ability and refused to hire a wedding planner. It wasn’t until the date got closer that I quickly found out there is a long list of questions, logistics, and day-of help I was going to need. I luckily stumbled upon Crystal Rose Events on Instagram and hired them for my day-of coordination. Jessica was tremendously helpful in our lead-up meetings guiding me through my questions (including the questions I didn’t even know I needed to be asking- like collecting COIs). And as we got closer to the big day, Crystal and her team were amazing with those last-minute decisions and tasks that are bound to plague you. Edwin and Jessica specifically handled everything with grace and drama free. During the rush of the day, they were handling so many things I didn’t even realize until later - they were lighting candles, chasing people down to sign my marriage license, rallying the vendors, and even sweeping up the rose petals on the floor after the ceremony. I cannot appreciate them enough and went above and beyond what we expected.

On our wedding day, there was a miscommunication that resulted in additional charges from our florist, Crystal stepped in and resolved the situation smoothly without passing the cost on to us. e booking process was so smooth with an initial consultation call and online contract signing. Unfortunately, my wedding was scheduled in Malibu for February 2025 and had to be cancelled 3 weeks prior due to the Palisades fire. Jessica was so kind, empathetic, and professional with our last minute cancellation/postponement. We decided to postpone for one year to give our venue time to recover from the fires. Jessica and the CRE team picked up where we left off at the end of 2025 and she ensured every detail was covered. She handled the day of the wedding flawlessly and even kept us on schedule the entire evening. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for everything they have done. , and Jessica and Kira (assistant coordinator) made sure everything ran smoothly. If there were any issues during the wedding, I was completely unaware since our coordinators took care of everything, and even helped us fill out our marriage license. Besides coordination, we also hired their wait staff and added on water/ice service which was definitely worth it so our groomsmen didn’t have to haul in ice and water for the reception. Also, having CrystalRose manage their own wait staff made it so much easier for decor set-up, buffet-service management, etc.
We had 3 formal meetings (2 virtual, 1 in person at the venue) starting a month and a half before our wedding, but Jessica and Crystal answered all my emails and texts swiftly throughout the whole process. They will go over every detail with you to make sure nothing gets overlooked. We were even able to hand off our boxes of decor and bar items before the wedding day so they could set everything up as soon as the venue opened.
We’re so happy we went with CrystalRose Events since they provided such professional, excellent service to us within our budget and were so wonderful to work with!

The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding

every vendor, and then added the hardest part — make it cost-effective. Usually you can’t have your cake and eat it too, but with Crystal, somehow you can. She’s been doing this for so long and has such a great team and network that no matter what we threw at her, she always had an answer. Her network of vendors is huge — there’s nothing you could ask for that she wouldn’t find a way to make happen. When we’d ask, “Is there a cheaper option without losing quality?” she never made us feel bad about it. She’d always come back with the perfect person or solution. And looking back now, across every single vendor, we literally couldn’t have wanted anything more.
She was absolutely incredible to work with. She’s always there — responsive day and night — and genuinely cares about her couples. She found us the best wedding venue in the entire world that fit all of our very specific criteria. We only toured one venue — the one she found — and it ended up being the one we booked. That kind of sums up what it’s like working with her: she just gets it.
Throughout the whole process, we had so many meetings and interactions with her, and not once did I ever feel like we weren’t communicating enough. She’d text back late at night, help with the smallest details, and always made time for us. Her packages also come with so much more than you’d expect — she does all the printing, the designing, and a ton of the behind-the-scenes work that most planners would charge extra for. It’s just incredible.
The day of the wedding, she and her team were amazing. They handled everything from start to finish, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Her team was just as kind, professional, and on-top-of-it as she is. The whole experience was beyond anything we could’ve hoped for, and I truly can’t imagine having done it without her.
If you’re on the fence about whether a planner is worth it, Crystal will prove she absolutely is.

The fact of the matter is we came into our wedding day with an 80% solution to achieve our wedding goals and with the help of Crystal Rose Events (and the help of a few friends of ours) we were able to get to 100%. 0 person wedding within <6 months and absolutely would not have been able to do this without Crystal.
It was a whirlwind and Crystal made things much easier by keeping us on track with tasks, giving us vendor recommendations, and helping research additional vendors when we wanted other catering options. She gives you to-do lists after your calls, has various tracking lists & checklists; it was SO easy to collaborate with her.
From a logistics standpoint, our wedding involved a LOT of logistics. Two venues down the street from one another (the latter for the dance party), the main venue required a 'flip' (using the same space for ceremony as the reception), valet, shuttles, separate bar/catering at the 2nd venue... But all of this was executed flawlessly.
A few notes- our catering vendor did catch an important rental that was left off of an ever-changing rental order. I am definitely more of a micro-manager/anxious type and that made me a bit nervous. I had the slightest doubt whether or not all these details would be executed on the day of the wedding. Come wedding day, Crystal and the other day-of coordinator/assistant Kristen made sure we kept things on schedule and all goes went as smoothly as a live event goes. Crystal’s prowess came to life on the wedding day and she really took charge. There were a few mishaps but I think they were due to miscommunication; nothing that wasn’t fixed or detracted from the event!
Overall, we were happy with the outcome and really appreciated Crystal’s efforts. We would recommend her!

They were all so friendly, quick, reliable, helpful, honest, remained calm under pressure, and strong communicators. With our wedding being over Labor Day Weekend, we all know it was a hot one - 95 degrees to be exact. It did not phase Antonio or Mariel as they worked so hard to manage all of our vendors to set everything up correctly in a timely manner. A HUGE THANKS TO THIS TEAM AND THE AMAZING SERVICE THEY PROVIDE! Crystal Rose Events did not disappoint and I would recommend this team if A-type personalities to anyone who is planning their next event/wedding. d truly a lifesaver. Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful and we originally tried to do it all ourselves, but quickly realized how overwhelming it was. Just when we were ready to throw in the towel, we hired Crystal Rose Events, and it was hands down the best decision we made.
They thought of details we hadn’t even considered and helped us stay on track every step of the way. We were able to hand off all of our decor and supplies at the rehearsal, which made the wedding day essentially stress-free. I even forgot a few items in my car, and Dana went out of his way to meet me the day before the wedding to pick them up; such a thoughtful gesture that really speaks to the level of care they provide.
On the wedding day itself, Dana and Kira were absolute rockstars. Their professionalism, organization, and calm presence kept everything running smoothly. They checked in with both of us throughout the day, updating us on setup progress and making sure we never had to worry. During the reception, they made sure we always had food, drinks, and a moment to breathe, which was invaluable in the whirlwind of the day. We had so many guests compliment how smoothly the entire event went and had nothing but fantastic things to say about both Dana and Kira.
Naturally, our timeline shifted a little (as it often does at weddings), but Dana and Kira handled the transitions seamlessly. They made adjustments without making us feel rushed or stressed, which allowed us to stay present and actually enjoy every moment. At the end of the night, they carefully packed up all of our decor so nothing was lost, and we could simply relax and celebrate. They stayed until the last of the vendors cleaned up to ensure the venue was left in proper working order.

ur wedding, Wedding Coordinator‘s Kira and Lisa made the day run as smooth as possible, and they executed all of our requests efficiently. Everyone on the team was so kind and easy to work with. The day of our wedding, we did not have to worry about any logistics or issues because of them. We were able to enjoy the day and see all of the planning come to life. The team was so communicative and helpful every step of the way from vendor and schedule recommendations to managing last minute changes, blended family dynamics, unexpected emergencies, surprise performances and intense heat on the day of! As someone who also does events, I was impressed by their level of professionalism, patience and ability to roll with the hiccups. They handled everything with ease and calm which allowed us to take in and enjoy our day. The wedding was everything we hoped it would be and so much of it was because of the incredible work by Crystal and her team. They were there for us every step of the way – from all the planning before the wedding, to the craziness of the day itself, and even checking in afterwards. It wasn't just about them doing their job; it was clear they genuinely cared. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding wasn't just a good day, but the absolute best it could possibly be for us.
What we really appreciated was how they always seemed to know what we needed, sometimes even before we did. They just had this incredible way of supporting us in so many unasked for ways. Like, they built great relationships with our friends who were in the wedding party, used their own smarts to fix and suggest little things (give advice on lighting and photography), and stayed incredibly calm and supportive even when unexpected stuff popped up. They were so quick to suggest solutions and proactively fix things, and because of them, everything worked out perfectly in the end.
We're just so thankful for how responsive and intuitive they were, for all their hard work, and for truly making our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you, Jessica and Jon!

We had a 200-person wedding at Calamigos Ranch with multiple vendors, and I was worried about keeping everything organized. Crystal and her team handled everything seamlessly—from coordinating our timeline, confirming vendors, and even making last-minute adjustments when our florist had a mix-up with the bouquets. I didn’t even know there was an issue until after the wedding because they fixed it so quickly and professionally.
One of the most impressive moments was when our DJ’s sound system had technical issues right before the first dance. Before I could even panic, Crystal was already on it—she coordinated with the DJ and the venue staff, and within minutes, everything was back on track. It was that kind of quick thinking and problem-solving that made the day stress-free for us.
Our guests kept complimenting how smooth everything was—from the perfectly timed ceremony entrance to the effortless transitions between cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Crystal’s team even made sure we actually ate our dinner (which I’ve heard so many couples forget to do)!
Beyond being incredibly professional, Crystal is also so kind and easy to work with. She always responded to our emails and texts promptly and never made us feel like any question was too small.
If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is professional, calm under pressure, and truly cares about making your day special, CrystalRose Events is the one. I can’t imagine our wedding without them!

eline. While there were still service issues that need dramatic improvement, Crystal was professional in addressing my concerns and providing context. The basic duties like transportation and being a PoC for vendors were ultimately completed even if execution wasn't perfect, which I understand more since the extreme winds on our wedding day merited a somewhat significant and unprecedented crisis. For the price point ($800 for a smaller family wedding), the attempted service was commendable, though it required more oversight from our end than ideal. I am revising this to 4 stars.
Old review: While we knew we were working with a newer coordinator who was not Crystal herself, at a reasonable price point ($800 for a smaller family wedding), the service still fell short of basic expectations. The coordinator handled transportation of items but struggled with timeline management and keeping the day organized, often requiring the venue's property manager and my decorating vendor to step in. Basic coordination duties weren't fulfilled effectively despite clear communication of what was needed. The rate reflected the coordinator's experience level, but the execution still needed improvement. Either way, perhaps Crystal herself would have done a better job, so I wouldn't totally discredit this company given the other reviews.
