Tim Smith was born in Cincinnati at Jewish Hospital and has spent his life behind the lens capturing real, unscripted moments. His photography career began in the fast paced world of news, where he traveled and worked with respected publications including the Detroit Free Press, The Cincinnati Post, and The Cincinnati Enquirer. Years of documenting life as it unfolded gave him an eye for authenticity, timing, and storytelling. After retiring from news photography, Tim shifted his focus to the moments that matter most to families and communities — sports, celebrations, milestones, and special events. His calm presence, sharp instincts, and ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera make him a favorite among clients of all ages.
