Cuarteto Guataca is NYC based band specializing in Salsa and Son Cubano. We currently play a few weekly engagements, but we will be happy to sub out one of our regular gigs to play for your special day. We offer a range of musical services including ceremony, cocktail, reception, rehearsal dinner, MC and DJ. We can play 100% acoustic to provide high energy danceable music without the high decibel levels. If sound reinforcement is needed, we are prepared with a state of the art Bose system. If you're interested in booking us, I encourage you to come experience the band in person.

Here's the weekly schedule of public performances:
Thursdays from 7-9pm at Cuba Restaurant and Rum Bar, 222 Thompson Street, Manhattan — indoors, drinking, dining and listening, call (212) 420 - 7878 for reservations
Fridays from 7-10pm at Sahadi's Industry City, 34 35th Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn — outdoors under a tent, dancing, drinking and food, call (718) 788 - 7500 for reservations
Sunday nights from 7-9pm at Mi Salsa Kitchen, 205 Allen St, Lower East Side, Manhattan — indoors, dancing, drinking and dining (646) 649 - 4929 for reservations

hroughout the planning process, Josh was on the phone with me listening to ideas and working with me to make our event flawless. They are an incredible group of talented musicians who got all the dancers dancing and the non dancers dancing too! They played for all aspects of our wedding and even learned a Beatles song for my entrance. We love to see them perform around the city, where we live but to have them travel all the way to CT for our wedding was even more of a treat. We had multiple people ask us for their information at our wedding because they want to see them live or book them themselves! We couldn't be happier!

ment I booked to day of the event, Josh was amazing to work with and so professional. He also was super accommodating to specific song requests. We selected a blend of oldies and classic parranda (puerto rican christmas carols) done wonderfully!
