I could not recommend Cucamonga cakery enough!!!! From the cake tasting to the actual wedding day cake, the process was just wonderful! All the staff members were friendly and kind...
. The flavors are off the chart. We had 3 flavors: snickerdoodle, pink champagne with raspberry persevere, and rum cake. All of them were amazing, so moist and flavorful!! All the guests were complimenting it!! Plus the design!! Omg spot on for a fall wedding. We are so happy!. We definitely will come back for an anniversary cake!! Thank you guys!!
My partner and I have mixed feelings about our experience with Cucamonga Cakery. Right off the bat, I will say that the cake tasted great and that wasn't an issue. What was a probl...
em was the communication, tasting, and overall experience.
I think it's completely ridiculous that you don't have any say over what flavors to choose for the tasting; we ended up choosing the most basic flavors (chocolate, vanilla, and lemon) for our wedding because the ones we wanted weren't available to try. This ties into the bakery's communication. We received information about the tasting 3 days beforehand letting us know that you can't pick any flavors, and if you want to try another flavor you can buy a (whole) cake and bring it home- but they need 7 days notice for that. Keep in mind that we only received that information 3 days before, so even if we wanted to PAY to try other flavors, that option was not available to us.
The tasting experience was fine, but I feel like there wasn't enough communication on what the end result would look like. Our cake looked completely fine, very pretty, but nothing spectacular. It was much more plain than my partner and I had pictured, which wasn't communicated. If you have a design in mind that isn't their standard options, just be aware that you probably won't know what it's going to look like until you're cutting it on your wedding day.
Like I said, it tasted good, but besides that, I can't say that I would have chosen, or continued to work with, Cucamonga Cakery if I was not required to by our venue.
They were a preferred cake vendor offered by my wedding venue and I can see why. The cake came out amazing - just as I had requested. I also enjoyed all the different flavors/combi...

AMAZING CAKE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Seriously soooo good!

rom my wedding venue. On our cake tasting, we tried 4 flavors (mimosa, chocolate, lemon and snickerdoodle), and they all tasted good. The lady who helped us design our wedding cake was friendly and she was so good at sketching the cake design. We were expected to serve about 170-180 people, so we went for 4-tier cake with mimosa, pink champagne, Neapolitan and snickerdoodle. After our final meeting with the venue, our total guest count was downgraded to about 130 people. The venue suggested to downgrade to 3-tier cake, but my husband wanted to keep 4-tier cake as he thought it would look nicely on photo and presentation. Cucamonga Cakery was so understanding and still allowed us to keep the 4-tier cake. Our wedding cake looked so gorgeous in the photos, and it tasted good. Thank you Cucamonga Cakery!

Pink champagne
Carrot cake
Snickerdoodle

They were a hit!! People took them home too, so there were none left at the end of the night.

I had a destination wedding in California. I planned my tasting which was EXCELLENT. I brought pictures to explain my idea for my wedding cake. They were very receptive. The woman ...
I spoke with actually left the tasting room to ensure the decorator could do what I was asking for. I thought that was professional to make sure she could do what I was asking. I also added the mini cheesecakes and macaroons. Which were so good. We did a three tiered cake with the snickerdoodle (an ABSOLUTE MUST), almond champagne (FANTASTIC), and Italian rum. The Italian rum was okay, it was a much more dense cake compared to the other light and airy cakes. Overall great experience and so delicious!
My cake was absolutely stunning and delicious. I had so many people fighting over seconds. I was in awe of it all night and it really became a centerpiece to the wedding.

g into it that my cake would not only look great, but also taste amazing. We did sample other bakeries but of course no one compared to Cucamonga. There are so many reasons to love this bakery, but one of my favorites is that is a family run business. For our cake we had snickerdoodle, marble with fudge, lemon with raspberry, and kahlua chip. You cannot go wrong with Cucamonga, brides do yourselves a favor and go with Cucamonga for your cake, you and your guests will not be disappointed.
Very easy to work with! Stress free planning and all of our guests LOVED the cake!

It took me a little bit to make up my mind on exactly what I wanted our wedding cake to look like, but once I finally decided, I sent them a couple pictures and explained what I had in mind and they completely nailed it!! I was so beyond happy with our cake, it turned out exactly how I envisioned!

re all up for our different idea at the tasting and we were excited to have them apart of our special day. The only thing keeping me from giving them a perfect rating was we mentioned at our tasting and in our contract that we were decorate the cake pop flavors in different colors so our guest would be able to tell the difference between the others. We had the colors and designs all picked out and agreed on and I was a little disappointment that they weren't like that the day of the wedding. Besides that everything was great the set up looked cute and the guest really loved the cake pops. I just wish they would have been able to tell the difference without having to bite into the cakes.
First, we were about 30 minutes late for our appointment because of traffic and the lady we met with was SO NICE about it. We got a one-hour appointment knocked out in about 30 min...

Their cakes are delicious, the flavors are that perfect balance of subtle and sweet, the cake is moist and light, you feel you could eat a ton of it without wanting to stop. The designs are stunning, they really take the time to learn who you are and what you want.
We had a three tier cake - pink champagne, marble and snickerdoodle - with a buttercream frosting. It was simple and elegant, just what we wanted. And delicious. Did I mention delicious? I wish I had some of the pink champagne cake in front of me as I type this up..

lse around who could make the cake locally if we didnt like it. After our first cake test I was hooked! The cake was delicious and they were willing to work with me creatively on the design until I was 100% happy. They even let me come back a few months later for a test taste of their new fall flavors! They were so good I made my cake selections. My family was blown away by how delicious it was. We had snikerdoodle, pumpkin and pink champagne. They were moist and delicious. The decor on the outside was exactly as I had imagined it! Thank you ladies!!!

The day of the wedding the cake looked absolutely perfect! They had achieved everything we wanted. Not to mention it was delicious!! We also loved that you did not have to get the top tier (the one to save for the anniversary) on the day of the wedding. They told us we could come back anytime to get that tier so long as we had the order form!!
Highly recommended!
Able to accomodate gluten-free dietary restrictions while still tasting good.
Guests thoroughly enjoyed variety of cake flavors & fillings.
Cake delivered on time & intact.

Simple yet elegant cake design using buttercream frosting looked nice but was a little less "wow" than expected.
Cake tasting coordinator was polite and helpful.
Our cake was perfect! Exactly what I wanted. They were very accommodating and kind!! So glad we asked them to save us a slice of each layer, the cake tasted great!!!
Delicious and Beautiful
The cake came with my Wedgewood package. We met with the Cucamonga Cakery a few months before the event. We sampled a few of their cakes and fillings (but not all, since they only ...
do a few for tastings). The cakes were good --- They aren't Porto's or King's Hawaiian, but they were good.
They had a variety of designs, from the more common to a few unique ideas. Our wedding cake came out beautifully, topped with fresh flowers from Floral Sensations (that cost extra). Although it won't go down in history as the most amazing wedding cake, it definitely doesn't go down as bad, either. Good enough to get the job done and pleasant to work with.
