I'm a twenty-year service industry veteran who has done it all, from tending bar to leading the kitchens in some of Kansas City’s finest dining establishments. A couple notable restaurants I have worked for are 801 Chophouse and The Jacobson. I started catering because I love being able to take one's vision and make it come to life on their most important days. Creativity is something I am most passionate about and that makes our business unique. You aren't choosing from a set menu but instead creating your own menu with my expertise.

Amazing service and food! We wanted to serve tacos at our wedding and Eric & team delivered, making sure the food and service was just what we wanted. They even went out of their way to serve horchata for us, which they’ve never made before!

Eric and his team were incredible to work with! From the tasting to the wedding day, the Culinary Creations team took great care of us. The food was incredible and our guests still keep raving about the delicious turkey we served at the wedding.
They were incredibly accommodating to all dietary needs for our guests and easily adapted to the handful of changes we requested two weeks before the wedding.
They left the venue spotless and packaged all of our leftovers nicely for us.
Our guests (and we) truly enjoyed the delicious meal at our wedding and we can’t say enough good things about the Culinary Creations team!

Although I did not use Culinary Creations for a wedding, I did use them for my mother’s memorial. They were very professional, courteous and very aware of our needs for day. We worked with the caterers to create a tasteful menu. The food was fantastic! Everyone enjoyed it. If I have another event in KC, I will definitely use Culinary Creations.

From the very first call with Culinary Creations KC, I knew we were in good hands. Eric was a gem – his confidence in their catering options and his excitement about the menu was contagious! He streamlined the process beautifully, helping us finalize our menu quickly with just one call and a few emails to sort out contracts and invoicing.
Greg was also incredible in the days leading up to the event, double-checking our final headcount, which actually brought us significant cost savings. Thanks to him, we could indulge in a delightful dessert spread that became the talk of the night.
Their team arrived early, prepped and ready to go, and didn't miss a beat in setting everything up. It was impressive to see how they provided everything we needed without us having to worry about a thing.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Culinary Creations! My daughters wedding was October 14, 2023 and when I say they went above and beyond, they absolutely did! Chef Eric let me tweak one of the appetizers, and let me say both the meatballs and bruschetta were fantastic! We had the Chicken Fettuccine, Pork Tenderloin with the dijon mustard sauce, various sides with rolls and everyone commented on how wonderful the food was. We worked with Chef Greg and his crew that evening, they were timely, responsive and I did not have to lift a finger! Prior to the event Chandra was great and very communicative! Pick Culinary Creations if you want an amazing worry free event!

Amazing! I could not brag enough about how easy they made the process. Eric new that I am Chamorro and had some island twists on some of the choices when we came to try everything for the first time. I appreciate that he cared enough to make that personal touch for us! We LOVED it! We ended up switching up the menu a bit and it was soo good! We got so many compliments from our guests too! They said it was so much better than your typical wedding food choices.

We hired Eric and his culinary/bartending team for our wedding and received MANY compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was! He built a beautiful charcuterie board for us to be served during cocktail hour and he also made street tacos for us for the main meal which were much more flavorful and elevated than your average street taco! We got married on an unusually hot day in May and ran out of beer during cocktail hour! However, one of Eric's team members made a quick run to buy us more and kept all of our guests happy! Eric is professional, fun, and makes amazing food!! We highly recommend Eric to anyone who's looking for a caterer for any occasion!

I just have to brag about Eric (KC Culinary Creations) and the amazing food he did for our wedding!
First off, anytime we needed to communicate, Eric was always punctual and professional. Very easy to talk to during the process of booking him. Second, our taste testing was soooo good! We loved that we got to do that which not everyone offers we found out when looking for catering.
But that day we literally had the best rosemary carrots we’ve EVER had! The meat was so tender and delicious.
And third, they delivered the same tasting delicious dishes to our wedding day! Not only did we love the food, all of our guest were raving about how delicious EVERYTHING was!! It was everything we hoped for to make our day that much more special. We can’t thank you enough for providing amazing service and food! I definitely recommend Culinary Creations for any of your catering needs! Thank you!

Eric and his staff were fantastic! So many wedding vendors overprice their food and services, but Culinary Creations had great pricing in comparison to their services. They negotiated fair pricing with us prior to our wedding They clearly communicated logistics with us. During our wedding, they had everything hot and ready to go when the wedding party/guests were ready to eat. They asked guests how they liked the food. Many guests kept telling us afterwards how wonderful the lasagna and asparagus were! Culinary Creations appears authentic in their business practices, and we'd highly recommend them to anyone. For improvement, we recommend that Culinary Creations expand their menu to offer more variety.

We used Eric for my husbands surprise birthday party. BEST DECISION EVER! He was professional, creative, and provided a delicious meal for our 75 guests. We had a lot of compliments about the menu which started with cocktails & apps, then a full course meal with salmon and chicken options. He even recreated a triple layer cake recipe (my husbands favorite) with individual serving portions. Presentation was beautiful and timely. I had a lot of questions and he was quick to reply to all my inquiries. He was able to set up his mobile kitchen, tables/chairs, linens, bar, etc. all while keeping it a secret for the surprise party. I also appreciate how quickly he was able to clean up after the party. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Eric for your wedding and next catered event.

Upon hiring Culinary Creations, I was a little skeptical, given the event was for a family holiday gathering. From the initial consultation…throughout the entire period of anticipation, Culinary Creations more than delivered delicious food with more than enough time for preparation, as well as completely took the burden of cooking for this cumbersome time of the year. Will absolutely be using Culinary Creations in the future, but now without a doubt in my mind they can live up to my expectations!!!

Eric and his team did an amazing job for our wedding this past fall. He worked closely with us to create the menu of our dreams and at every step was so friendly, helpful, and prompt in his communication. To this day I still am hearing from our guests how much they loved the food. The steak and mashed potatoes were some of the best I've ever had, though it is hard to choose what from the day was my favorite because everything he made was perfectly prepared. I would 100% recommend hiring Culinary Creations for your event; you will be so glad you did!

I used Eric for a Tea Party for my mom's birthday. The food was amazing! Eric was great to work with, very communicative and reasonably priced. He worked with us on the menu and made sure that we were able to navigate a food allergy with one of the guests. We got a TON of compliments on the food and the set up. Culinary Creations did an AMAZING job catering our wedding!!! The food was so delicious, and we had endless compliments from guests about the food. Eric was so great to work with, and he was able to deliver exactly what we wanted. We asked him for all vegetarian event, which despite never doing one before, he was excited about it, and he delivered beautifully. He was also able to provide gluten-free and vegan options for some guests as well. We called several companies before getting in touch with Eric, and none were nearly as flexible or willing to work with what we wanted. Instead of a set menu to pick from, he helped us create the menu that we wanted. We ended up going with a pasta bar with tons of veggie toppings and tofu (which Eric said he had never cooked before, but it was delicious!) and multiple pasta sauces (the pesto sauce is wonderful!). The presentation was beautiful too. Everything was perfect! We would absolutely choose Culinary Creations again, and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for catering!

Eric and his team were rockstars. Every guest at our wedding raved about the food. Lasagna was incredible, and the chicken was so perfectly cooked, with some of the most amazing mashed potatoes. Would definitely recommend him and his staff for the taste and service!
