utiful Jacksonville is. We enjoyed cocktail hour and dancing outside in the gardens and had a beautiful sit down dinner inside the Terry Gallery. Cara was fantastic to work with and helped answer all of our questions throughout the wedding process. Chef's Garden was also incredible to work with and everyone is still talking about how delicious the food was! I highly recommend the Cummer for a wedding venue! s all over Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and the Beaches looking for the perfect spot that had it all, and this did! It's absolutely beautiful inside the Galleries and in the Loggia area, and of course - the reason we chose the venue - the Gardens outside on the St. John's River.
Additionally, we loved this venue because you can bring in your own prefered caterers, bartenders, cake, etc. It does require extra effort to use a venue that allows you to bring in your own vendors, but I think the extra effort is worth it because you can get exactly what you want. I know a lot of people who are dissapointed when they choose a country club or similar venue that doesn't allow you to pick your baker or bring in your own bartenders/alcohol, because you end up compromising on either style or taste in some way. But at the Cummer, you can really make it your own, very personalized wedding.

s. The space was beautiful and required little to no decoration. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the space was. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel like a king and queen on our wedding day.;Our families were both from out of town. We were told that we could store our wedding cake in their freezer. When we returned, the staff had eaten the cake. Guard your cake!! Have someone take it with them after the reception.
