Joanne went beyond what she was hired to do. She helped organize I few things at the venue when the venue coordinator wouldn’t help.

We got our cakes through Cunningham Confectionary, which is based out of her home in Eldrige. For our main cake, we had four tiers, all of which were able to be made into different flavors (we had lemon, spice, cherry chip, and chocolate Kahlua). We also had two sheet cakes (one was marble and the other raspberry), along with a small birthday cake for our ring bearer. All of this cost between $400-$450 (I don't remember exact cost!). The cake went quickly, heard a lot of great compliments on most of the flavors...loved the lemon but heard the cherry chip was just okay. Service-wise, Joanne is very friendly and personable. She was very willing to work around a budget, and was honest in saying if something would or wouldn't look right...for instance, a certain shape of cake might look off if only in two tiers instead of three. The cake was decorated beautifully. I wanted something simple, and she did Swiss dots over the whole cake and incorporated our colors in ribbons around the base. We only went to a few cake vendors so I'm not too sure how she compares price-wise to others...I had a hard time imagining paying that much for cake, but that could just be my tight wallet speaking!
