We got our wedding cake from here and it was absolutely delicious! They made it exactly like we asked and it looked beautiful. Definitely recommend for anyone getting married in San Diego!

Yola made us the most beautiful and delicious cake for our recent wedding. We had a relatively small centerpiece cake made for my wife and I to cut and keep and then had several sheet cakes made to serve our guests. We initially went for a tasting several months prior to our wedding and brought my parents. Yola was very kind and accommodating and the cupcakes were incredible. Working with her was a pleasure and she was able to give us everything we asked for. The centerpiece cake turned out gorgeous and everyone at the wedding loved the cake they were served. We're still eating left over cake and it's still incredibly delicious. Thank you Yola for your significant part in our perfect day.

The wedding cake was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I loved it and our guests did too. It was so nicely done, cut very neatly, and tasted great! Delivery was right on time, and we were so happy with it. We got the 8” cake since we had a very small wedding, and it was the perfect size. Highly recommend cupCAKES a la Yola!

We were sooo happy with our cupcakes and dessert for our wedding! We decided to have 2 different types of cupcakes, a dairy free version for my husband and cannolis! All were a huge hit! The cannolis went sooo fast! The presentation was also excellent and looked great! It was very affordable and the being able to take cupcakes home to taste was very convenient! Highly recommend!

Our wedding cake came out amazing!!! It was exactly what we wanted classic, in the front and in the back the peel back. We had a Star Wars themed wedding and had the peel back design in the back with Star Wars pictures. The cake came out great and tasted amazing.

Barbara and the whole team were wonderful to work with! They made the cake tasting so easy (even when we forgot to call ahead of time to pick our flavors). Their cakes are reasonably priced, beautiful to look at, and so delicious! We ordered a 3 tier cake and a sheet cake for 180 people and all of our cake was gone. Some of our guests said they had multiple slices because the lemon coconut was so good. We loved working with them!

Barbara helped make us a beautiful and delicious wedding cake, along with some cupcakes for our vegan guests. Our tasting was a great chance to see what she had to offer, and she was very helpful in providing guidance as we explained our vision. Everything was all so good and we are so glad we chose her for our wedding! She customized the cake to our needs and budget perfectly.

Barbara at cupCAKES a la Yola was beyond amazing to work with. Our cake was a beautiful 4 tier naked cake. I had asked for colorful fresh flowers as decorations and that’s exactly what I got. So beautiful and received so many compliments. Each layer was a different flavor and all of them were so so tasty. Would definitely recommend! We went with the location in Poway, CA.

I had been going to this shop for years and was obsessed so I knew I needed to have it for my wedding. They were so professional and did exactly what we needed. They were beautiful and it made the cupcake table look so beautiful.

Dont let the name fool you cupCAKES a la Yola can make the most amazing wedding cakes! They did a 3 tier beauty for us. Each tier featured a different delicious flavor. They have so many flavors to choose from but we selected red velvet, chocolate chip, and strawberry shortcake. Each slice left our guests wanting more!
