Cupcakes for Courage

This incredible bakery took our idea and turned it into a gorgeous dream come true! We used Cupcakes for Courage (Courageous Bakery) for our wedding cake as well as cupcakes, and they were unreal! As usual, there was plenty of dessert left at the end of the night because everyone was too busy dancing to eat it (ha) so we sent almost everyone home with to-go boxes of cake and/or cupcakes. Even DAYS later they were just like fresh! Don't know what you ladies did to those cakes, but keep doing it! Their range in flavors was outstanding, and the gluten free options were a huge help for many of our guests. Cannot recommend this bakery highly enough!

These cupcakes are amazing and we got many compliments after the wedding. Courageous Bakery is very generous at the tasting and we loved all the flavors we tried. Laura, the owner, was so easy to work with and was genuinely happy for us on our marriage. I really felt we were her priority on the wedding day, where our venue gave her a 1-hour window to drop off the cupcakes and set up the display while they flipped the room from ceremony to reception. I would definitely choose them if I had to do it all over again!

We chose Cupcakes for Courage for two simple reasons 1) my hubby and I are not fans of cakes & 2) the cupcakes are to die for!! I first tried their cupcakes at my church when the Cupcake Truck would show up and I loved them. When it came down time to pick a "cake" for our wedding, there was not a doubt in my mind who we should choose! The whole process from the tasting to our enjoying them at our reception was easy and yummy!! It was a please working with Laura from Cupcakes to Courage. Everything was handled in a professional manner and she went above and beyond anything I imagined. Our tasting was amazing & we left the shop with so many amazing flavors to choose from!! The display and set up of our wedding cupcakes was beautiful!! The team did an amazing job setting up all the cupcakes, labeling the flavors and just making everything look gorgeous. The display stand we chose was beautifully decorated to match our wedding colors and I was just in awe!! If you are looking for something different than just your traditional wedding cake, I would highly recommend Laura and her team at Cupcakes for Courage!! They are fun to work with and your guests will love the cupcakes :)

Our venue package originally included a bakery but we could not fit a tasting in our short timeframe. We yelped bakeries in the western suburbs and found Courageous Bakery. Their backstory sounded great and coworkers raved about their cupcakes. We were able to get a tasting the following weekend after contacting them. At the bakery, they provided 11 cupcakes for us to try of all different flavors. We picked pink velvet as our cake and 4 flavors for our guests' cupcakes. The pink velvet was our favorite flavor and the best that I've had. We were able to rent a tower for the cupcakes to placed on at the reception. The cupcakes were delivered and set up before guests arrived. All of our guests raved about the cupcakes and many asked where they came from!
