nds-down the most organized and professional vendor we worked with and we asked a lot of them! Location: Coconut Grove, Miami The Planning Process: Curate Entertainment has turned wedding music into a science. Their planning app is a game-changer; it integrated perfectly with our pre-made Spotify playlists and allowed us to break down the entire day by section and select songs we definitely wanted to be played and give creative license for the rest. We still wanted our DJ to be a DJ and DJ Leonard delivered! We were able to curate (lol) specific soundtracks for every special moment, making the whole process feel incredibly seamless. Execution & Artistry: We had two detailed planning calls with DJ Leonard and a text thread where he absorbed every single detail, music cue, and transition we threw at him. We shared specific remixes and fun transitions that we loved, and he infused them into the night perfectly. His ability to read the room was unmatched—he moved effortlessly between afrobeats and amapiano for cocktail hour to r&b and reggae for dinner to 2000s hip hop, dancehall, soca, and reggaeton for the party and even a massive crowd-singalong to “Mr. Brightside,” which was surprisingly one of the highlights of the night!! Standout Moments: The Energy: DJ Leonard kept the dance floor packed all night. At one point, he even came out onto the floor to lead the entire room in a Caribbean dance to "Palance," which blew our guests away. Many of our family and friends asked who the DJ was and said he was AMAZING (and we are not an easy group to impress). We really wanted our party to be a highlight and it was! Expert Coordination: Beyond the music, they helped us coordinate a surprise choir performance. They worked directly with the choir to handle the sound system logistics across different areas of the venue, taking a huge weight off our shoulders. We also had a friend as our MC and she and DJ Leonard seamlessly switched off for their individual announcements and played off each other so well! The Finale: Our night ended with everyone belting Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”, followed by a suggestion from Leonard that became one of our favorite memories: a private last dance as newlyweds after the guests were ushered out. DJ Leonard was completely "locked in" and didn't miss a beat. If you want a DJ who is organized, high-energy, and genuinely cares about the details of your vision, book Curate Entertainment! st likely had a cascading effect on the other services we booked, so I don't want to be too harsh on the company or DJ Maudy. However our biggest issues were that: 1. The incorrect song was played during our ring warming ceremony. We had specified instrumental only but the lyrics version was played. I had really wanted the violinist we hired from Curate to shine, but the YouTube example I shared in advance was played instead. I do think the violinist played on top of the YouTube video, but I was so thrown off by hearing lyrics I really don't know for certain if the live violinist played or not. 2. DJ Maudy played the mother/son song instead of our 1st dance song after our entrance, and we had to shout to him from the dance floor that it was the wrong one before he corrected. DJ Maudy did apologize and did the best he could the rest of the evening to have things run smoothly! I was a little disappointed to hear from my husband that some of the Taylor Swift songs were played as I was changing into my second look, but what can you do I guess. He also played a song we had specified for our cowboy hat giveaway too early, so we had to re-play it when it was time to hand out the items. Overall, I just really wish things were smoother day-of, but recognize the issues with our planner are probably the root cause. The app was really convenient when building what songs we wanted in the planning stage and the company was very professional.

For the reception, DJ E3 kept the energy high all night long. Our guests consistently told us that he absolutely nailed the music. He was highly communicative, executed all announcements flawlessly, honored our vision, and read the room perfectly. His transitions were seamless, and his performance kept everyone on the dance floor. The addition of the saxophonist elevated the party even further. Guests were dancing with him and capturing videos throughout the night—he was a huge hit. Overall, Curate truly knows how to throw an unforgettable celebration. I cannot recommend Curate, DJ E3, the violinist, and the saxophonist highly enough. Thank you, DJ E3, for rolling with the punches and bringing INCREDIBLE energy and AMAZING vibes to our special day. a private dinner because the dinner playlist that DJ A-Rich played was absolutely spot-on and delivered the exact vibe we had dreamt of. And then there was the dance floor….I’m not exaggerating when I say we had 95% guest participation because every song was THAT good. Our guests told us later they felt like they had completed a marathon when they woke up the next day because they danced so hard - and even the guests that don’t usually dance at weddings couldn’t resist. DJ A-Rich KNOWS how to make the dance floor come to life and picks songs everyone will love. The thing that made him stand out the most though compared to other DJ’s I’ve seen was how he made me (the bride) and the groom feel. He interacted with us the perfect amount and made us feel like the stars of the show. I can’t even put into words how he hyped us up in the most amazing way and made us feel so special. If you are planning a wedding or any event, DJ A-Rich will MAKE the event. He is easily one of my favorite (if not my top favorite) vendors of my whole wedding. We truly appreciated all the effort he and his company put in and the fun energy he brought to the wedding all night (and even the after party!) The process - After booking DJ Jerren and Curate Entertainment, they provided an App that allowed us (bride and groom) to input every specific detail about our wedding and the music tied along to it. I quickly contacted my buddy who had nothing but positive things to say about Jerren and the party he provided. After an introductory phone call with DJ Jerren, I knew immediately he was the one I wanted leading the party for my wedding. If you decide to hire Jerren for your wedding or event, you will not be disappointed and don’t be surprised if you have friends and family who are at the same stage of life as you asking for his number.
