Curled + Contoured

Curled + Contoured was recommended to me by my wedding planner for my make-up and I’m so glad I booked them. I had the pleasure of working with Kathy & Nicole for my big day! The ladies were punctual, professional, and listened attentively to my girls, glamming them all to perfection! I had a total of 13 ladies (including myself) and Kathy & Nicole started bright and early and finished us on time! With no hiccups! Their work is versatile, they accommodated my ladies that typically wear little to no make up and fully glammed out myself and a few other ladies that wanted a more sparkly or dramatic look. Everyone was pleased with their faces, and we received many compliments!! A testament to their outstanding work, is that our make up lasted ALL DAY!! We started at 6:50 AM and the ceremony didn’t start until 6:30 PM. Thank you ladies!!

I cannot recommend curled and contoured more for weddings or other special events. They were quick to respond, answered all my questions and really used their expertise to give me and my mom the looks we wanted for my wedding. Both Janais and Katherine were on time the day of the event, extremely personable and relaxed. I felt like I looked like the most beautiful and put together version on myself for my wedding. Would definitely highly recommend them both.

I didn't know I could look that good! Katherine and Nicole really did their thing on my wedding day and I am so grateful to them for it! They took my notes from the trial and made sure that everything was perfect. I got married on a 90+ degree day so they had a tough job making sure my face didn't melt and my hair didn't frizz up, but they worked their magic and I absolutely loved how everything came out. I felt so relaxed and comfortable around them. Trust me, you'll feel like a goddess after they're done with you!

I am so happy I found curled and contoured for the hair and make up for myself and my wedding party. They did an excellent job coordinating and creating a schedule for the day. They listened to everything I wanted and my hair and makeup turned out beautifully and lasted all day and night. They had amazing energy and made everyone feel comfortable. I am appreciative of the fact that they were able to execute amazing hair and make up for a diverse group of girls with different hair types and skin tones.

Highly recommend booking Curled and Contoured! Kathy and Janais are masters and made me and all of my bridesmaids look beautiful. They were very good at listening to preferences and did not make any of us feel pressured into a specific look. They also were both so much fun to hang out with as we got ready on the wedding day. Obsessed with this team. I have naturally curly hair so I was specifically looking for someone who specializes in this area. I was so nervous for my hair because it’s rare to see a fancy naturally curly look. I also don’t wear make up ever so I was nervous for my make up as well. Kyla and Kathy exceeded my expectations. They listened to what I wanted and made me feel so beautiful. They are so kind and sweet. My wedding party was so happy with all their hair and make up. I can’t recommend this team enough.

I am so so happy we booked with C+C and would highly recommend to anyone in need of glam! Throughout the wedding planning process, the team was responsive, attentive, and sweet. My trial was an absolute blast with Kyla and Mia, and any little tweaks I hoped to make after the trial were meticulously noted and executed for my big day! During my wedding weekend, Mia and Kyla did my hair and makeup for two different days—softer glam with an updo (for a traditional tea ceremony) and fuller glam with sideswept hair (for the wedding reception). Both looks were stunning and the makeup and hair stayed all day and all night (like 15+ hours!!) Also during my wedding day, the artists Kyla, Mia and Katherine were professional, relaxed and fun, helping to create just the getting-ready environment I was hoping to have on a busy day. My bridesmaids, mom, and mom-in-law loved how their hair and makeup looked and enjoyed spending time with the artists. I also appreciated how the team accommodated each bridesmaid’s different tastes and beauty preferences. Overall, C+C was such a pleasure to work with and I am looking for another excuse to get my hair and makeup done so I can work with them again!

We worked with Curled and Contoured for our wedding in January of 2024 and were SO happy we did! Our wedding involved two bridal makeups and 13 other hair and makeup appointments so they had their work cut out for them — and they did an amazing job!! Kathy, Eduardo, Mia, Nicole, Katherine and Naila were all SO talented, fun, kind, inclusive, and responsive to what we all wanted. Each of our wedding party members wanted different things and all of them were so happy with their different looks. Most of all, each of the artists made everyone (from people who love getting their makeup done to those who hate it to everyone in between) feel comfortable and like the best version of themselves. Curled + Contoured INCREDIBLE! Curled and Contoured was actually the second hair and makeup artist that we booked for our wedding after our first hair and makeup artist had to cancel due to circumstances outside of my control. After a lot of drama caused by our first hair and makeup artist I was quite nervous to book anybody else for this however the girls from Curled and Contoured made it so worth it. They were able to use my inspiration pictures to provide me with the perfect look for my wedding day. Kathy did my makeup and Janais did my hair they were so fast as well which really helped in keeping on track for the day. These girls were so down to earth and easy to talk to as well. They made you feel like they were two of your friends who were so excited for your big day! I loved them!! Kathy, Janais, Nicole and Mia were the team that worked on all of the bridal party and parents hair and makeup as well. All four of the members of C+C we worked with were so talented and made us all feel beautiful

If you are considering C+C for your wedding, LOOK NO FURTHER! They were recommended to me by a few former brides, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The quality, professionalism, timeliness, and friendliness far surpassed my expectations! From our first point of contact, these girls were so easy to work with and it was as if we were friends. They put a timeline together based on my wedding party and schedule, and were very flexible when last minute changes needed to happen. I sent them inspiration pictures for my vision, and they absolutely delivered!!! I had Janais for hair and Kathy for makeup, and we also had Mia and Nicole doing the wedding party. During my trial, Janais and Kathy couldn't have been better - we laughed, gossiped, and just chit chatted as if we had known each other for years. They made me super comfortable during the process, and my hair and makeup was absolutely perfect. It kept perfectly all night too. On wedding day, the team showed up right on time and got to work, sticking to the timeline we created. The conversation flowed, and they helped make that morning a blast. There is nothing better than having a fun atmosphere on wedding day, and these 4 helped make it great! Once Janais was done with my hair, I was confident that it would hold all night - and it did! I hired Kathy for 4 extra hours of makeup touch ups, and couldn't be happier I did. She was off to the side for all of the big moments - the first look, vows, etc., and was right there to touch me up. Such a great decision for any criers like me! I couldn't recommend C+C more for any hair and makeup needs - they will make sure you look and feel your absolute best!

We worked with Mia and Janais for our hair/makeup and everyone looked amazing and super natural. We had a bit of a chaotic working space with a toddler and all the chaos that comes with that and Mia and Janais kept everything moving at a great pace and made sure everyone got the attention they needed. My mom even hopped in for some makeup at the end since everyone who came out of Mia's chair looked amazing. The hair and makeup held up all night (despite a TON of dancing and even an outfit change from my sister) and everyone looked awesome from start to finish. I'd recommend working with them!

I am so happy I used Curled & Contoured for my wedding! Mia, Kyla, & Andrea were such a great team and made everyone feel beautiful. They are so talented and were able to listen to what each bridesmaid wanted and execute it flawlessly. I felt glam without looking overdone and I'm so pleased with the whole experience. Kathy & Janais got our wedding off to such a great start! We were all thrilled with our hair and makeup: we felt like ourselves but better, and it truly stayed put all day. They even helped me subtly glue my bangs to my head so that they wouldn’t blow in the wind! 10/10 would recommend

One word comes to mind when thinking of my experience with Curled and Contoured: PERFECTION! From the first reach out, to my trial, to the big day, the incredible ladies at Curled and Contoured were incredible. I LOVED my trial hair and makeup. They did two hair styles (one for my trial hair for the wedding and one for my boudoir shoot later that day). A few weeks before the wedding I added a few girls to the list of who needed hair and makeup and Janais and Kathy were immediately on top of bringing in another artist, Naila, to help on the big day. Everyone in the party LOVED their hair and makeup (a bunch of my friends reached out to Kathy afterwards asking what makeup products were used because they were so obsessed with their looks). I’m hoping for any excuse in the future to work with Janais, Kathy, or Naila again. My hair and make up lasted through the wedding AND the entire after party with only a few lip stick retouches in between (I’ve been in seven weddings in the past two years and I have had to re apply make up/touch up my hair several times at every single one for reference). I was so happy I chose Curled + Contoured as my wedding hair and makeup team! They are very responsive over email and organized. From the moment I met them for my hair trial, I knew we were going to be a good match. They were very welcoming, knowledgeable, and true artists! I had the option to try out multiple styles for my hair trial, but I ended up loving the first one Eduardo put together! I'm also not a big makeup person on an everyday basis, but I was blown away by the makeup that Kathy did. I wanted soft glam and she nailed it! For the big day, the team put together a schedule for all the girls getting hair/makeup done and they showed up right on time and brought fun, easy going vibes! They made it such a fun atmosphere! Eduardo made hair magic with my braid and curls, and Kathy and Naila brought out everyone's natural beauty with their makeup skills! The team stuck to schedule and even finished early. The worst part was realizing that when they left, we wouldn't see them again for the rest of the day lol. One thing to keep in mind is that when you choose your getting ready space to make sure you have enough room for the amount of artists needed and that there are higher chairs for the makeup area. Also C+C does require the full payment one month in advance of the big day- so just to keep that in mind for your schedules. I would highly recommend this team!

Kathy (makeup artist) and Eduardo (hairstylist) are the absolute best! Not only was my hair and makeup flawless from morning to night (10 am to 11 pm to be exact), but they were so fun to work with. Communication was on point; professionalism was excellent and results were amazing. I even switched up my hairstyle day of and Eduardo accommodated it with no problem! Spent the morning chit chatting and laughing with them without them even skipping a beat while they were working on me. Highly recommend!

Cathy & Nicole were absolutely incredible and made me and my bridal party feel our absolute best on my wedding day. Cathy was great to work with for my trial. She really listened to what I was looking for in terms of my makeup style and provided some great suggestions to make sure my makeup would photograph well on my wedding day. On my wedding day they made all of us feel so comfortable and made sure every girl had makeup that made them feel beautiful. I would highly highly recommend them to any bride because of both their skill and professionalism.

Kathy, Katherine and Janais were AMAZING. They arrived on time, were super nice and made sure the girls and I were comfortable. Even when my mom was running VERY behind on schedule Kathy was so kind to wait. I am beyond grateful for that. I recommend these ladies to anyone that is looking for a wedding hair and makeup team.

I chose curled + contoured for my wedding hair and makeup and I could not be happier!! Kathy and Janais did an amazing job and went above and beyond during the trial to make sure I felt comfortable with my glam. I remember coming in without a ton of inspo pics and just explained to them what I wanted and they absolutely killed it. They are also extremely professional and are so quick to respond - I couldn’t have made a better decision on glam than curled + contoured! If you are reading this and debating booking C+C: DO IT!! Kathy and Janais are lovely people. They made me feel comfortable the second I walked in for my hair and makeup trial, answered all of my questions, and gave me great resources and recommendations for pre-wedding hair and skincare. I let them know in advance about some insecurities and hesitations I had regarding having my hair done, and they handled it with nothing short of professionalism, grace, and kindness. Their communication via email is quick, friendly, and detailed. I knew exactly what they needed for our getting ready suite, and what I needed to have on hand for my big day. Not only are Kathy and Janais lovely people to work with who bring awesome energy into the room, but they are artists in the truest sense of the word. I wanted to look like myself even though I was in full glam, and they totally nailed it. My hair and makeup was exactly as I had envisioned it for my wedding day! My hair, makeup, lashes, everything lasted all night on the dance floor. My bridesmaids looked amazing as well. I loved worked with Janais! When booking vendors, it’s always scary putting your trust into someone with your wedding hair. Janais made any stress or fear immediately go away. When we met her for our trial, she did my hair and my mom/MIL. They LOVED her and her work. She takes her time and gets to know her brides, and bridal party. It was so fun getting ready in the AM with Curled and Contoured. They were on time and very professional. I would 100% recommend them to any bride.

I just cannot say enough about Kathy of Curled + Contoured. She was so fabulous to work with! I was nervous for wedding makeup, as it tends to be heavy, but she gave me a natural glow with the exact eye makeup I wanted that lasted ALL. DAY. LONG. I had my makeup done at 7am and it lasted through the night! My sisters were also nervous about heavy makeup and she made sure to give them a light but gorgeous application. They were so happy with it! Kathy is kind, fun, and will make alll your wedding day stress go away. I cannot recommend her enough!

I hired curled and contoured to do our hair and makeup. This was for me (the bride) and the bridal party which was 6 other women and 2 little girls. Mia, Janais and Eduardo Wet our artists and they were just perfect. Arrived early and ready to get started as soon as possible. Listened to each person’s request for hair and makeup and berthing came out perfect. I LOVED my hair and makeup. Both stayed on for the entire night and had no complaints. There were last minute changes that they were able to accommodate and make sure there were no hiccups on my special day. Thank you for everything!!!

We just got married on 1/27/23. I booked Curled & Contoured based on a recommendation from our Photographer. They have been extremely communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. I did a hair trial 1 month prior to the wedding with Eduardo (who did my wedding day hair as well). Eduardo is a gem-super easy going and friendly and made my wedding hair exactly what I wanted. The whole experience was a pleasure!

I had my hair and makeup done by Curled + Contoured and they were incredible. Myself and my 6 bridesmaids all have different hair types, skin colors, and styles, and each of us had a completely different look. Everyone looked incredible and was so comfortable and happy! Kathy did everyone's makeup, and Kyla did our hair, and they were so lovely and such a great presence in the bridal suite first thing in the morning! I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire C+C for the wedding.

Kathy made me feel special and beautiful from my trial all the way through my wedding day. I felt like she really understood my vibe, the look I was going for, and we clicked immediately. I don’t know a ton about make up and was up front with her, and she made me feel heard and left me looking stunning on my wedding day. Kathy and her team also came in to do my entire bridal party (8 in total) and they all said the same thing — looking stunning effortlessly, while also having a laugh throughout the process. Now I have to figure out what event I can go back to Kathy, because I can’t get enough!

When best friends start a business together, the result is magic. Kathy, Janais, & Katherine are an INCREDIBLE team and 100% a crew that sets a fun/calm vibe for your wedding morning. I met Kathy & Janais back when I hired them for my engagement shoot in September 2021. Since then, they've given me excellent advice throughout the planning process (ie. extensions, styles etc...) On the day, they were a well oiled machine, keeping us on schedule without causing us to feel rushed. My mom rarely wears make-up and she was so comfortable and thrilled with how her H&MU came out. Katherine killed it with my bridesmaids, taking their inspo pictures and turning them into reality. Our glam lasted all night and I want to do it all over again! Thank you, Thank you!

Kathy and Janais are AMAZING! From the moment I booked throughout the day of my wedding, they were responsive, supportive, and absolutely fantastic to work with. I had to make changes to the number of people in my party, the services, and the schedule a few times, and they were patient and provided guidance every step of the way. Ugh! What to say about the dynamic duo that is Kathy & Janais!!! I hired them for my wedding on 11/5/22 and they absolutely slayed. I had them do makeup for my aunt, MIL, flowergirl, myself, and 6 bridesmaids. They were incredible! From start to finish they were an absolute pleasure to work with and incredibly professional. I cannot recommend them enough. They had to deal with all different requests/personalities, skin types, and hair textures. Everyone was so happy with the way they looked on the day of my wedding and that was so important to me. I also felt like they were very reasonably priced!!!

Kathy and Janais were amazing! Besides the fact that they were so responsive and understanding any time I had any changes to make, they were also so kind! The day of my trial I had an AWFUL day, and they were so patient in letting me calm down and even offering to reschedule me if I needed. On the day of my wedding and leading up to it I had to make a few changes and they were able to accommodate me. They came prepared and on time and were just a joy to have in the room that day. Me and all of my girls looked amazing, if youre on the fence about booking them, do it!!

Highly recommend! I looked into curled + contoured due to having curly hair and wanting someone who knows how to work with my hair type. Janais knew exactly what to do and offered suggestions to my bridesmaids who were unsure of what they wanted to do with their hair. Kathy was super patient with all of our requests for our makeup and made all of us look beautiful. Maya is a pro at hair and makeup. We didn't have any issues and would book them again in a heartbeat.

Janais was absolutely amazing to work with and I can’t recommend her enough for wedding day/event hair. I had a specific vision of what I wanted and she flawlessly accomplished it. My hair was not in the best shape heading into my wedding and Janais made me look absolutely incredible - I’m still not sure how she managed to pull it off so flawlessly! She brought the best energy and imbued a much-needed calm throughout the wedding morning prep. She made sure I looked perfect before pictures and the ceremony. I can’t recommend her enough for your wedding and I’m so thankful for how beautiful she made me feel on such an important day. She was also extremely accommodating and flexible leading up to the wedding day with timeline changes and some schedule ambiguity - thank you Janais for being a dream to work with!!

I am super impressed with the women of Curled + Contoured and I highly recommend them! They did such an amazing job with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I definitely felt very glamorous. I had booked a trial with them and fell in love with their work and their personalities. Kathy and Janais are a pleasure to work with. C+C were a dream to work with on my wedding day. My hair & makeup lasted from 10am (when we started getting ready) through the end of the wedding past 11pm. All of my bridesmaids, and both my mom & my husband’s mom loved the way their looks turned out. My MOH, who is a makeup artist, also loved her makeup and thought they did a great job. I felt beautiful the entire day. Kathy, Janais, and Katherine were phenomenal and I would highly recommend them to any bride!!! The Curled and Contoured team did a great job for my wedding! I booked Janais on a whim and had a great trial with her so I knew I was in good hands. Even before the big day she was available by email to answer any questions promptly and made a great schedule for the day of so everything ran super smoothly and on time. The day of the wedding her and an assistant Kyla showed up promptly and began working on myself and my 6 other guests. They both listened to each persons vision for the day and executed them impeccably, even making an usually skeptical MOB a happy camper! It was such a pleasure working with them and I highly recommend them for your special occasion!

Can't say enough how great this team is for wedding hair and make-up. Kathy and Janais are amazing at what they do. From the first time I met them for my trial, they put me at ease and pumped me up for my big day. They are sweet, energetic, and work so quickly and efficiently with AWESOME results. If you’re even looking at Curled and Contoured right now, let me tell you, your search for a hair and makeup team ends now. This is the one you want! Our team for my wedding was Janais, Mia, Eduardo and Andrea. They came to my hotel room right on time, set up super quick and had my ladies in the chair and services started in no time. I had 11 ladies getting services, and the artists worked so quickly and efficiently we ended with time to spare. Every single one of us was thrilled with our makeup- especially me, the bride! Mia understood my vision for ethereal, glowy makeup and nailed it! Eduardo installed my extensions and gave me the exact dreamy waves I envisioned. The best part? My hair and makeup services ended at around 2:30 and I was up partying until 4 am and still looked fantastic. The team was also so personable, funny and sweet. We chatted the whole day and they made the experience so light and fun for everyone there. I seriously can’t recommend Curled and Contoured enough. I am so happy that I found them!

I’m so glad I worked with Curled + Contoured for my wedding! Cathy and Janais were amazing and made me feel comfortable and beautiful every step of the way. I left my trial knowing I was in great hands, and my bridal party all felt the same way during the morning of the wedding. I only had a few tweaks to ny look after the trial, but they were amazing at making those changes so that everything was perfect for my wedding day. They were also super helpful through my planning and answered any of my beauty questions over email, and gave great advice on products. It was absolutely the best I ever looked — and felt!! Booking C+C is hands down the #1 wedding decision I am most proud of. I did a ton of research and even did a trial with another makeup artist before finding C+C, but I had a hard time finding the right balance of natural and glam. Once I did my trial with Kathy and Janais, it felt like love at first sight! They are both so talented, and even though I was not totally sure what I wanted, Kathy and Janais listened attentively and saved all my inspiration photos. I must have sent them 100 lengthy emails and photos, and they were always so patient, positive, encouraging, thoughtful and lightening fast in their replies! I felt so safe with C+C. I knew no detail would be forgotten and that everything I said would be saved in their notes for the big day. And sure enough, my wedding glam was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. All my bridesmaids said they had never felt more beautiful – and they all grabbed C+C cards for future events/weddings! It was also important to me to find a glam team with kind, patient personalities, and Kathy and Janais were more wonderful than I could have dreamed. My sister has autism and the amount of thought and care they both put into her – from the time of day they chose to schedule her, to the way they worked with her during her services – was so touching. Meanwhile, they brought the most fun, sparkling BFF energy to the party. They made all my pre-wedding nerves melt away, and I felt like I was hanging out with two of my best friends! I also highly recommend extending your services to include touch-ups. Kathy and Janais came with me to the church, fluffed my train, touched up my hair/makeup before and after the ceremony, AND they took incredible BTS pics and IG reel footage that ended up being my favorite pics/videos to look back on! They are truly the best and I can’t recommend them enough.

Janais & Kathy went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt and looked amazing for my wedding day. They rolled with all the punches and additions. Even my little nieces got the glam they wanted.

I was so glad I chose Curled and Contoured for my wedding day. I have very straight hair and had been told when I was in other weddings that it couldn’t hold a curl, but Janais rose to the challenge and gave me a beautiful wavy style that lasted all night! I particularly appreciated that both Janais and Kathy gave me a few options during the trial so that I could experiment with a range of looks and feel extra secure day-of. Also, as a plus - both of them were a delight to be around and helped keep me and my whole crew de-stressed and laughing all morning. They kept to a tight schedule without making us feel anxious, and were even able to accommodate my mom as a day-of addition which she really appreciated. Would definitely recommend C&C to anyone looking for wedding glam.
