Located in Wilson, NH, Curtis Farm is a unique outdoor wedding venue that provides spectacular views of the Monadnock mountains. This large Colonial farm features an expanse of fields, meadows, and trees and can accommodate open-air and tented celebrations. The grounds center around the farmhouse, which was built in 1746 and is the oldest building in New Hampshire. This estate has been hosting weddings since 1907 and became a full-time venue in 1996, offering a breathtaking bucolic setting while preserving the historic property. Couples are invited to tour Curtis Farm to discover the ceremony and reception sites that best suit their tastes and preferences. With lush and verdant lawns, swaying hay fields, leafy New England forest backdrops, and a classic red barn, the property provides numerous scenic locations. Curtis Farm was the perfect place to have all the pieces of my wedding become one. The great thing about this venue is you can either bring all your own vendors or use Matt and his team for everything (If they don’t have what you need they will recommend a vendor they have worked with!) They also allow food trucks! We had originally planned our wedding at a Massachusetts venue, but due to Covid it was safest to move to NH, so we brought all our original vendors with us! Matt is best reached by phone and text, and will always call back if in the middle of something. He has been in the business quite some time so he will always give you his honest opinion (In a good way)! His wife was super helpful as well, and went out to get myself and my wedding party waters while we were waiting for the guest to arrive and the big day to officially start! The view of this venue is perfect!! Especially in the fall! There are so many places for photo opportunities as well! My (now)husband wanted trees on the poles in the tent and honestly it’s worth paying the extra penny, because it really made the reception tent look so much more than just a tent. Curtis farm provided the bar services and as long as you get open bar, they will not run out, if they do they will go get more! One thing I recommend more people do, is use the venue for rehearsal dinner, it was nice to sit in the tent and enjoy the view before the big day when everything goes by so fast. We recommend Curtis farm, Matt, and his team to anyone whose looking for a tent style wedding with an outdoor ceremony!

I could not disagree more with Kelly L. We had an amazing time at Curtis Farm and would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a rustic outdoor wedding. Not only is the property beautiful, the Fish family made sure that our day went exactly how we wanted it and were there to deal with several issues that we had during planning. I will definitely be using Curtis Farm for me next wedding haha.

Whatever you do DO NOT have your wedding here! Curtis Farm was everything we were looking for in a venue for our wedding. However, after Matt Fish received our deposit and payment for him to be our wedding coordinator, he totally ignored us. Phone calls went unanswered and emails were answered with "I'm out plowing the fields I'll get back to you" and he never would. There were several other issues as well that led to Mr Fish finally promising in several emails that he would return all our money to us. Long story short, he didn't and we had to take him to court in an attempt to get our money back. Despite the courts ruling in our favor, Mr Fish has still not returned our money to us and we are in the process of filing with the courts to put a lien on his home and property in hopes of finally having our money returned to us. Please do your research regarding this place!! I am not the only one to have had these types of problems and only wish I had paid more attention to the other reviewers!!

We were recently married here. I can honestly say we had the most amazing experience with the venue! The Farm is owned by Matt and his wife, Nicole. They essentially held our hands and walked us through the wedding process for an entire year. They were always prompt to reply to our emails and phone calls. They have been in the wedding business for around 20 years (don't quote me on that). With that kind of experience, they were able to offer advice and recommendations to avoid any problems and make the day stunning! If you're looking for a unique experience, this might be the place you're looking for! They offer a s'more pit, farm tours and lawn games. My favorite picture of the night is my husband and I with the donkey! Matt and Nicole will help you make any ideas you have come true! There have been weddings at this venue with everything from marching bands to Mine Craft themes! Best of luck in you're wedding planning!

My husband and I got married on August 23, 2014 at Curtis Farm and we had the most amazing wedding day!! Curtis Farm is a family business run by Matt, who was very personable, friendly and easy-going. He gave us pointers, ideas and was in charge of making sure our wedding day ran smoothly and exactly how we wanted -- which it certainly did! His wife, Nicole, was also very helpful when my bridesmaids and I were getting ready in their farmhouse. Luckily, we had the most beautiful sunset and weather for our special day, though this is a huge factor in whether or not your wedding will turn out how you expect. Our guests absolutely loved the farm's animals which Matt and Nicole turned into a little "petting zoo" for our guests.. it was a major selling point. We used the tent and catering companies on Curtis Farm's preferred vendors with little complaints. We also rented a restroom trailer which was definitely worth the extra $$. We had lawn games to make the day feel like a giant BBQ, which was the most raved about part of our day. We are still getting compliments and "I hope my wedding is exactly like this one day!" months later.

Curtis Farm is gorgeous and the evening we had was spectacular. Matt Fish and his wife, Nicole, were so very warm and helpful to us. They are knowledgeable and attended to details so that we could relax back and enjoy ourselves. Their recommended vendors were all great and we really could not be happier. We hired our own band and photographer but utilized his recommended caterer and tent company. We felt it necessary to contract with a Septic Company to provide a luxury trailer for bathrooms with running water vs. the farm's porta-potties. They were a little pricey but so very nice. Contract early as they are very fully booked early on. We understand why. What a great day and evening we had. Enjoy Curtis Farm. There is everything to love about it.

My husband and I were married at Curtis Farm in September 2012. It is beautiful there and the staff is all very pleasant and easy to work with. I did find that I had to initiate most of the encounters. It is a family run business and at most of the meetings it felt that way, they were all very casual. I did not like that my guests were asked to move their own chairs from the outdoor ceremony space to the tent space. I did feel as though we were mislead into thinking their staff would be doing that. I was also mortified that there were out houses as restrooms that were not very well lit for it being an evening wedding. All and all we were very satisfied with our experience at Curtis Farm and I would recommend it to newly engaged brides.

Curtis farm is an outdoor wedding venue in NH. Its wedding spot sits in a wide open field that over looks the monadnock mtn range. SELLING POINT IS THE SUNSETS!!!! sun set right over the mtn creating beautiful lighting
