Curtis captured our engagement photos and wedding day! He is professional and very friendly. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and gave us direction on what to do while he was taking pictures, making everything look very natural. He got so many great shots from my wedding day. It's impressive how well he does with no help from a second photographer. Curtis was a fantastic photographer for my daughter's wedding. His attention to detail and his artistic vision is absolutely incredible. When we were looking for a photographer for our wedding we wanted to find someone that captured the emotion from our day and Curtis did just that. When we first spoke with him to get to know each other it was easy and comfortable. My husband is not big on taking photos, let alone posing for them but Curtis made that very easy for him. We were also out of state planning our wedding in Columbus and Curtis was very flexible working with us from afar and with our limited time in Columbus. Our photos from our engagement session to our wedding day were beautiful and amazing! We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Curtis on our special day! Curtis was absolutely the most amazing photographer we could have ever hoped for! From the moment we started to talk with Curtis, I knew he would be perfect. His attention to detail and his ability to capture moments and make them look exactly how it felt is astounding. For our engagement photos, he was kind enough to come down to Cincinnati to our family lake house. His pictures were beyond words. I remember he was frequently looking at the sun's angle and choosing the perfect places so we had beautiful lighting. At our wedding, he made sure to get every shot we wanted. I remember asking him if he'd gotten pictures of the centerpieces or of our grandparents and he'd reply that he'd already gotten them. He was so on top of everything! My Maid of Honor even leaned over and told me "I've been in a lot of weddings, but he is the best photographer I've ever seen!" He even kept us on task and moving along to the next part of the day. I also just love his style. His photos are so genuine and they capture the day and the couple. He doesn't have corny, forced pictures at all. Our wedding photos are the most beautiful photos I've ever seen. They truly bring our wedding day back to life every time I look at them. He even caught moments I missed...like my father crying in the corner. I cannot thank Curtis enough! He was helpful throughout the entire process, answered every ridiculous question I had, and was kind through it all. I'd absolutely recommend Curtis! He is the best photographer you will find!

Curtis is not only an amazing photographer but one of the most professional people I’ve ever meet. My husband and I highly recommended him as an engagement, wedding, and family photographer. We have used Curtis for six years and are more and more pleased with his work. In 2015 he took our engagement photos in downtown Columbus, Ohio and in 2016 he was our wedding photographer. He spent the entire day with our wedding party and family capturing every single detail. It was truly a dream come true. The quality of his photos are amazing. We were so pleased that we purchased our wedding album through him and have received multiple compliments on how fantastic it is. In the last four years he has taken our maternity photos for both of our sons and came to our home in Columbus, Ohio to capture our sons at only a few days new. I will always cherish the memories and photos of our children when they were born. Recently, we meet Curtis at a park in Westerville, Ohio where he took photos of our family. Curtis knows so many wonderful places here in Ohio and was familiar with all the great spots to capture the best photos. As parents, we were concerned that the boys would miss-behave or act out but Curtis has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Very professional and really took control in order for everyone to be stress free

We knew early on that we wanted to book with Curtis. We were headed home from a vacation and my now husband started calling around and looking for a photographer. Most everyone he spoke to immediately referred him to their website for all information and not giving him the time to talk and get to know them, except Curtis. They spoke on the phone for easily 30 mins and he really showed us then that he was worth working with. Our engagement shoot was super cold and tough for all of us so we tried again in the warmer months and I loved every last photo. The day of our wedding arrived and Curtis was prompt and ready to go. He was always where he needed to be. He jumped in and helped us stay on track with certain things (if you haven't been a part of a wedding before then you need some help). Upon reviewing our photos I have not found one that I dislike, I can remember all the moments he captured and they are absolutely gorgeous. We could not have asked for anyone better to share and capture our day. Curtis, we thank you so much for the beautiful photos.

If I could rate Curtis 10 stars I would. My husband and I got married in 2015, and our photos tell such a beautiful story. Curtis came as soon as the girls were getting ready and didn't leave until the very last dance at the reception. I look at our book often! I am in awe of what an amazing job Curtis did. My husband and I have stayed close with Curtis, and he has done some other wonderful shoots for us. I cannot recommend him enough! Booking him was the best decision we could have made.

Curtis was very professional and easy to work with. He was tasked with a crazy day of weather (raining and dreary one minute, bright sun the next), so his expertise really showed. He used the rain/puddles to create really fun reflection shots. He has the ability to disappear into the scene one minute and find you to take a photo in just the right light the next minute. We love our photos and would highly recommend him! His pricing is reasonable as well.

Curtis was absolutely fantastic. He got to the venue even before my husband and I did, he was very friendly and professional, and I am in love with the pictures he took. Curtis gave us lots of suggestions on how to act or pose, which was especially helpful since we both were excited and nervous, and the result was stunning. I also particularly appreciated how he was able to find the perfect spots for pictures (our shoot was all over downtown Columbus!). I would absolutely recommend him, he was great and both my husband and I really appreciate all the work he’s done for us!

There are not enough words to describe how fantastic and professional Curtis was from our first meeting to the weeks following our wedding. From the moment my husband and I met Curtis we knew that we wanted him to capture our wedding day. His style immediately caught our attention, especially his black and white photos, and when we left our first meeting my husband looked at me and said, "I want him to take pictures on our wedding day, book him before someone else does.", and we are so happy we did! He was constantly checking in with us throughout the day to make sure he was capturing the photos we wanted. We had so many complements from our family and friends on how wonderful he was throughout the night, and we could not agree more. Our wedding photos far surpassed all of our expectations. Curtis captured so much emotion, love and fun from our day that we will cherish forever. We have enjoyed sharing the photos with our family and friends, and can't wait to create our album. Curtis was a great photographer! From the day we first met him we already knew we wanted him to capture our special day. Curtis did a great job photographing our wedding day. I am not usually one who likes to have my picture taken but Curtis made us all feel comfortable throughout the day. He caught every shot we wanted and was not only professional but fun to spend the day with.

Amazing photos. Professional in every sense of the definition. My husband has been in weddings where the photographer made them do cheesy, unnatural things, and it didn't go over well (especially with the guys, haha). So we wanted a photographer who worked to capture the days' beauty and moments without forcing it. I already knew I loved Curtis Wallis' photos after viewing them online, but after meeting him in person, we knew that his style and approach to a wedding was exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day, he exceeded our expectations. He worked hard to get every shot we asked for. The fact that he doesn't restrict the number of hours of coverage on the wedding day shows you how committed he is to capturing your day and story. I recommend taking advantage of the engagement session that comes with the package. It helped us learn how to work with a photographer and get a glimpse of what the wedding day will be like (we are by no means models and are incredibly awkward getting our picture taken!). We were so pleased with the engagement photos, we used them for our save the dates and got so many complements. As for our wedding photos themselves: they are more beautiful than what I ever expected them to be. Curtis Wallis captured so much emotion and happiness from that day. Finally, the turnaround time on getting the photos back to us digitally was very fast. I was so pleasantly surprised at how quickly our photos were ready. Curtis Wallis was the first vendor we booked after our venue, and I'm so glad we did. I'd advise to book soon because his wedding slots fill up quickly!

Curtis was absolutely incredible!!! I would recommend him to anyone looking for the perfect wedding photographer. He was my favorite wedding vendor. We had a unique wedding planning experience. We actually had to move our wedding date from July to February due to an unexpected family situation. Our original photographer (who was extremely highly rated on the Knot & very expensive) could not accommodate our change in date. This turned out to be the best situation EVER. Curtis's pictures were a THOUSAND times better, he offered a much better price, and working with him is everything you expect of a photographer on your wedding day. He is professional, responds quickly, gets things to you by promised deadlines and by far exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say my wedding pictures are perfect. I will use him for any professional pictures my family wants to have done going forward!

Curtis did my sisters engagement and wedding pictures. The photos were great quality! I used him for my wedding pictures as well! He was great to work with and got all the shots I could have asked for. The pictures are the best quality you will find and his prices are very reasonable! I without a doubt recommend him as a photographer!

I cannot recommend Curtis enough! He was terrific, and while we don't have all of our wedding photos back yet (wedding was only a few weeks ago), the previews that we have seen look amazing. I planned our wedding long-distance from Louisiana, so I talked to a lot of photographers on the phone. When I talked to Curtis I told him our budget and he gave us the best package for the price--all day coverage and a disc of edited images, which is all I wanted. (As opposed to most other photogs, which will do like a max of 8 hours of coverage.) Every time I called Curt with a question he answered the phone, so great communication. He did a complimentary engagement session with us which also turned out great. On the day of the wedding we had a change in plans. Curt was supposed to come to the hotel to take photos of us getting ready, but we decided to get ready at the venue instead, and he was very flexible with the change in plans. I loved that he did the photo updates on Instagram during the wedding; everyone loved seeing the sneak peeks. We can't wait to see the rest of our photos!

Curtis was great to work with - he captured moments during the wedding day that I did not even know he was there for! He blends well into the background in order to capture great candid pictures, and he did a great job directing everyone for posed pictures with family and the wedding party. I highly recommend him!

Photography was the very first vendor I looked for because it was the most important to me. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of money to spend on a photographer, and my laundry list of wants (all day photography, engagement session, included wedding book, not just a CD) wasn't helping my cost fears. I legitimately googled "Cheap Wedding Photographer" and what I stumbled upon was gold. From the first time I met Curtis I knew he was the only photographer we would be meeting with, and not just because all my wants were included in his price! His work is beyond fantastic. Not only does he take great shots, (a good trendy journalistic style, but still classic) but he also includes the classic wedding shots. He's one of those photographers that really stays out of the way, but is able to capture the small details that really make your wedding day special. He jokes with your friends, family, and really makes you feel comfortable to be around. Highly Highly recommend, do not look anywhere else!! We have had raving reviews about our pictures, and could not be more happy with the end product!

We have not seen all of our pictures yet, but our engagement ones were incredible! He followed our schedule perfectly and was so comfortable and easy to work with. We didn't even notice him once we were at the reception he was so good about being there, but not interferring with our day! Would suggest him to anyone!

Curt was an excellent photographer. He was very organized, professional, timely, really easy to contact, and he's prices were much cheaper than everyone else with more that was included. He had wonderful ideas and suggestions and did exactly what we were wanting.
