The Cusack sisters were inspired to open the Kenai lodge for weddings in homage to their father, a family man, who operated an all-inclusive fishing lodge in remote Alaska. The sisters take great joy in facilitating couples and guests alike to discover the untamed beauty of this location. Cusack's On The Kenai is the only wedding venue to offer couples the opportunity to wed directly on the banks of the Kenai River. Ceremonies can take place on the waterfront, and a relaxing cocktail hour can be enhanced by the charming outdoor firepit and wood-pallet bar. The luscious lawn that looks out upon the water can easily accommodate a large wedding tent and the venue is suitable for up to 150+ guests in total. This property is open later in the fall for those seeking a venue after hunting season for celebrations in the colder Alaskan wedding months of September, October, or November. Wedding weekend packages are available and provide overnight accommodations for up to 20+ guests, as well as use of the entire property for the duration. A hot tub located on the deck overlooking the river is the ideal spot for a romantic soak before or after the big day. A commercial kitchen is available for wedding catering purposes. Setup of tables and chairs and your arbor is also included. This property operates a unique optional "decor" policy where couples are asked to leave behind some decor they wont use again for future couples. Combined with the lodges collection of wedding decor, the result is a vast collection of wedding decorations to use free-of-charge to design your dream day here. Available items include a plethora of faux flowers, whiskey barrels for using as cocktails tables or table bases, rustic wedding arbors, table decor, romantic signage, antique mirrors, accent furniture, yard games, and much more.

A perfect spot for a wedding - great views, beautiful lodge, sleeping room for a bunch of people, a TON of wedding decor, and a new beautiful clear tent. You really don't need much to host your wedding, and it makes DIY very simple. Jenny and her team were so kind and helpful. Everything was perfect at Cusack's!

I truly can’t say enough good things about Cusack’s on the Kenai, I feel so lucky to have gotten married at this magical place! What we loved most is that you get the entire lodge for three days (as opposed to a few hours for other venues). That means that ~20-30 friends and family have an incredible place to stay for 3 nights, with an industrial kitchen, huge river-front lawn, and lots of extras. Cusack’s gives you full privacy and freedom, so the place is completely yours for 3 days with very minimal rules. However, if you do need them for questions or help, they will show up with just a phone call. Jenny helped us find vendors and answered all of our questions as we were planning for the wedding. She and others at Cusack’s are so sweet and truly want your wedding to be amazing! They also provide chairs, tables, alters, and tons of other little things that make the process so much easier! We also felt like this was a great value for how much you get.

Beautiful wedding venue! Our vision totally came to life here and we could not be happier. The sleeping room for all of our wedding party was a huge bonus and all of our guests were raving about the views! We are beyond happy and would recommend Cusack’s on the Kenai!

I was so fortunate to get married at Cusacks on the Kenai on 6/12/21 and it couldn't have gone more perfect. The venue is absolutely amazing and it is right on the Kenai River. There is so many rooms and beds for friends and family to sleep in. All the amenities are there as well, besides food.. you really dont have to bring anything else. Jenny has a "pay it forward" system with brides, and provides a whole room of wedding decor that you can use free of charge (its ALOT of stuff, like ALOT) and all they ask is to leave a couple things behind for future brides. You get tables, chairs, a bar already set up with lights, kitchen ware, bikes, and more. Its amazing how much comes with the venue for the price. Staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. I must have had multiple people come up to me leaving their name and number saying if I needed anything, even at 2 am to let them know, it was very reassuring. 100% would recommend getting married at Cusacks on the Kenai. I couldn't say enough good things about the venue. Thank you for making my wedding weekend so amazing and to have memories that last a lifetime!

My profile pic is w/my dad's world record moose shot by a bow&arrow at the Anch airport. I decided to recreate my dad's lodge but on the Kenai Peninsula. I'm just a mom of 3 super cool kids who was born & raised in Alaska. Obsessed w/Alaska. Obsessed w/ my fishing lodge. Now I'm obsessed w/ my new wedding venue at the lodge. Love having weddings here! My kids homeschool & this enables me to have the flexibility to be in Phoenix & Soldotna. We have 7 dogs. Love shooting & tennis!
