Cushing Field House is a private eighteen acre wedding venue paradise! It is no wonder why it has been honored as one of Michigan’s Top Ten wedding venues. It was designed and built with the highest level of quality and attention to detail. From the lush landscape to the beautifully appointed bridal suites, to the elegant entertaining spaces, this luxury venue stands out from all others.
The landscaping and grounds offer year-round beauty and are manicured so no matter where you go, you have stunning views and opportunities for gorgeous photos. In addition, there are three other outdoor ceremony locations from: our forest, meadow, or our brick paver courtyard. If you prefer indoors, or if the weather is not cooperating, we have our Sutton House available for those occasions too.
At Cushing Field House we provide the tables, wooden cross back chairs for your ceremony and reception, high top table for cocktail hour, lots of décor items, and much more. We have a list of preferred vendors that can assist in other areas, or you can choose your own. No one likes to be nickeled and dimed, so at Cushing Field House we are straight forward and transparent. There are no hidden fees, no taxes, no gratuities, no kickbacks from vendors, no escalation fees, etc.

We combined our skills and talents to create a venue that stands out from all others. With all elegant features, and attention to detail, it is no surprise that Cushing Field House been honored as one of Michigan’s Top Ten wedding venues. Having our wedding at Cushing Field House was a dream come true. From the beginning, Peter and Cushie were so helpful, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our planning experience go smoothly. They had a wonderful list of preferred vendors that we had excellent experiences using. They were also extremely attentive to answering any questions we had throughout the process and also went above and beyond to make our wedding personal to us. We could not be more pleased with the overall wedding day. The venue itself is stunning, surrounded by nature and beautiful views and the facilities are top notch - very clean, tasteful, and well taken care of. If you are on the fence about choosing this venue, I highly encourage you to choose them, you won't regret it!

Peter and Cushie were amazing from the very beginning. They did a great job walking us through the venue and what’s included/ not included so we had all the information upfront. Very responsive when i had questions always got a response back and were always there to run questions or concerns or even input by them. The venue itself is truly beautiful and i cannot recommend it enough.

Cushing Field House is the perfect venue. My fiance and I were on the lookout for a venue that was a unique blend of our two backgrounds. We couldn't have found a more perfect location. From the stunning landscaping, beautiful venue, and incredible amenities we couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot for our perfect day.
Peter and Cushie were incredible to work with. They were accommodating, helpful, understanding, and so kind. I can't express my gratitude enough for their help making our day perfect. I am so grateful.
We can't recommend Cushing Field House enough. Our guests were blown away and so were we!

This venue is beyond PERFECT! Everything about our wedding day was perfect and it all started with the Cushing Field House! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it! We received so many compliments about how absolutely stunning the room looked! Peter and Cushing were AMAZING to work with and made sure our day went exactly how we envisioned it! We loved working with them and we are so lucky and happy to call the Cushing Field House our Wedding Day Venue! It made for the perfect Winter Wedding!!

Cushing Field House is easily one of the most beautiful locations in Metro Detroit, as the owner's incredible landscaping background is exquisitely showcased at their venue. Beyond the beautiful setting, working w/ Cushie & Peter made my job as the florist extremely easy, and helped installation remain organized the entire wedding day. Not only did they impress me with their work ethic, but they were both an absolute joy to work with. Cushie & Peter provided top-notch professionalism and an extremely positive and fun attitude. I can’t recommend working with them enough! If you are in Detroit, & looking for the most beautiful natural environment for your wedding, look no further than Cushing Field House!

We had our dream wedding at Cushing Field House! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and Peter and Cushie are wonderful to work with. You can tell how much love they put into the place, and they truly work tirelessly to help make your day everything you want it to be. We had so many guests tell us that despite having attended countless weddings, they'd never seen a venue like it. STUNNING, this venue made all our dreams come true and brought our vision for our big day to life. Not only does the venue have absolutely gorgeous grounds, carefully thought out details throughout, a beautiful and spacious bridal suite, a grooms den, lounge areas, a patio with furniture to enjoy the sights of the gardens the real gem that adds extreme value to Cushing Field House is the most caring and thoughtful owners, Cushie & Peter. Cushie & Peter assisted with every detail, they are extremely commutative, make you feel like you are at home and take all the stress out of planning a wedding. Our guests can not get over how beautiful every detail of the venue from too to bottom had to offer! 10 stars from me and hubby!!

WOW! This venue is GORGEOUS! Not only the ceremony and reception space itself but the detail in the ready rooms made for great photos!
The owners Peter and Cushie were absolutely fantastic! You could tell the passion and hard work they put into their business and the dedication to their couples. As a former wedding planner, I was impressed by their hospitality and accommodating mind set. They were great to work with and would highly recommend Cushing Field House!

This venue is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. We actually got lucky and booked it about 6 weeks before our wedding due to the COVID restriction at our original venue. Cushie and Peter are so sweet and generous. They work so hard to keep the property ground immaculate. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and the separate grooms room/garage was everything we needed. The indoor decorations, stunning mirror wall, and huge head table made our day so special. We could not have asked for a better location for our postponed and re-planned wedding!

This space is stunning! Peter and Cushie are wonderful to work with and their attention to detail and constant improvements of their amazing venue space are unmatched. Navigating covid restrictions has been exhausting and heartbreaking, Peter and Cushie were amazing to work with and made the process as stress free as possible, Offering concessions no other vendors will. If you're considering the Field House , it's a no brainer in my book.

This venue is beautiful. The owners Peter & Cushie are amazing. They both go above and beyond to help you to make your day special. Ever detail is important to them. They are hands on in helping you with whatever your needs are. On the day of my wedding Peter was outside doing all of the last minute things to the grounds, setting up chairs, arranging flowers and anything that needed to be done to make my day special. Cushie is so sweet to work with. She was there for whatever I needed in the end. They both made my dream wedding exactly how I wanted it. I would highly recommend this venue. I am so happy that I found this venue.

The most beautiful venue with the most wonderful owners. Peter and Cushie went above and beyond for us on our big day. The quality and immaculate detail they have put into this venue is breathtaking. With a brand new bridal suite, another separate "bachelor" room for the guys to hang out in, updated bathrooms, a space for the caterer to set up, beautiful landscaping and so much more, I can not recommend this venue enough. They made all of my wedding dreams come true!

Spent the afternoon soaking up this gorgeous potential wedding venue! My fiancé and I fell in love at the first sight. We immediately contacted Peter & his wife to see if our date was open. They were happy to confirm that it was! BEST DAY EVER! Peter & Cushie (his wife) are probably the kindest people on earth. We are still over a year out from our wedding and they have gone to every extent to ensure we have the wedding of our absolute dreams. They are so eager to lend a hand in regard to any wedding needs. They provided a list of vendors they have used that are so high quality! I have never experienced this type of customer service. We are so excited to have them be part of our day!

Our son’s wedding was held at Cushing Field House in the summer of 2017. (And we were guests at a second wedding here in the fall of 2018.) We were so pleased with the entire experience each time! What made our happy occasion a memorable one began with the beautiful rural setting and Field House, paired with a manicured lawn and landscaping. From the roadway, we and our guests passed through a handsome iron gate and drove down a winding driveway through a wooded area lined with flowers and excellent landscaping.
Guests were dropped off at the entrance to the venue, and plenty of parking space was available (an attentive valet staff made parking a breeze!).
The Field House was warm and inviting with its reclaimed barn wood, custom circular wooden light fixtures, and rustic, yet sophisticated details. The wedding party enjoyed convenient on-site private dressing areas, and all enjoyed the clean & modern bathrooms and kitchen areas. There was outdoor lighting and seating as well.
Everywhere we turned, we experienced such care infused into each detail. Peter and Cushie have created a perfect blend of rustic charm, one-of-a-kind details, and clean, up-to-date facilities.
On top of all that, the nearby small towns offer great shopping, restaurants, and parks.

My wife and I got married July 1st at the Cushing Field House. We held our ceremony outside amidst beautiful landscaping and used the elegant barn for the reception. Since most of our guests were scattered across the country, making any venue a destination wedding, we really wanted a location that would give off a hometown and personal vibe. The owners were very accommodating of our needs and wants and even recommended local vendors and shops to work with. We are very grateful to the owners for their time and effort that made our wedding day one to remember!

Cushing Field House is the perfect setting for a wedding that feels both first class in every way yet down to earth. The moment you enter through the gates, it's evident that a lot of heart and thought was put into each detail on the property and in the venue itself. I've had the privilege of attending two events at this venue and those celebrations will always be some of my most cherished memories! My wife and I had the privilege of attending a wedding at the Cushing Field House. We have been to several outdoor weddings in the last few years. Hands down this was the most spectacular. Everything was perfect. The attention to detail, the beautiful setting, the barn, the food and all of the helpers. We also enjoyed staying in Holly and exploring the surrounding towns. Any bride would love this amazing venue.

My husband and I are still speechless when we recall our big day at Cushing Field House. Peter and Cushie left no details out in making sure we felt comfortable and ready for us to say, "I do". From the gorgeous bridal and groomsmen suites, to the custom escort card wall created for us, to a grand sendoff, we were treated like royalty and family all at once.
Cushing Field House captured the day beautifully by giving us the rustic elegance we were seeking. The repurposed farm wood, the landscaping, and the other amenities available for use left us in awe.
We are so excited to see pictures of other couples design their perfect day at the Cushing Field House in the future!

The Field House is nothing short of breathtaking. Peter and Cushie have spared no expense in creating a warm, relaxing, and inviting environment for their venue. No detail is missed. They go above and beyond what is expected to ensure that your experience is above 5 stars. Their venue is absolutely gorgeous and helps create the "backyard wedding" vibe without having to host a wedding reception in your backyard. Hospitality is definitely a huge priority, and radiates in every detail of their wonderful venue I will be recommending their venue to every bride I know, and cannot wait to visit again!
